Hayden Mater is a seasoned professional with a diverse and impressive background demonstrating success. He began his career with a marketing internship at Chick-fil-A. After earning a Business Marketing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, he embarked on an eight-year journey trading commodity lumber on a national scale, consistently ranking among the top 150 lumber traders in the nation. Successful lumber trading lumber requires building long term relationships and navigating price sensitive markets that change weekly. These fast-paced environments are where Hayden excels, and they taught him to truly value a business partnership when it exists.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start the US West Lumber department at Richmond International Forest Products and later, Mater Made ™, a microbrand watch company known for its high-quality timepieces. Hayden brings the high-octane energy and passion from his vast group of hobbies to the world of business. Working with passion has been a pivotal part in growing in a highly competitive environment. He built both of his businesses from the ground up, always striving for freedom of expression and innovation. Mater Made™ reflects his unique approach to life, emphasizing individuality while being well rounded and hungry to explore.
