Vicky Vortex is a London-based Corporate Vitality Strategist, speaker, educator, and founder of the Vortex Vitality Method™ and Dignity Clinic. Her work sits at the intersection of vitality, burnout prevention, nervous system recovery, dignity restoration, and embodied wellbeing. After years of navigating burnout, chronic stress, low immunity, inflammation, insomnia, weight gain, arthritis, and emotional adversity, Vicky rebuilt her own health through a practical, body-first approach to energy and resilience. Her personal recovery became the foundation for the Vortex Vitality Method™, a holistic framework designed to help people improve energy, focus, resilience, and long-term wellbeing through daily practices across hydration, nutrition, movement, nervous system regulation, sleep, environment, mindset, and self-care. Vicky’s background brings together education, communication, and holistic health. She has over 13 years of teaching experience, has worked as a travel journalist, and is trained in yoga, Pilates, breathwork, Emotion Code, Body Code, QHHT Level 2, and other holistic modalities. She is also studying Applied Astrology and continues to integrate science-informed lifestyle education with deeper emotional and energetic approaches to healing. Through Dignity Clinic, Vicky supports people whose self-trust, energy, and identity have been eroded by chronic stress, emotional invalidation, scapegoating, and dignity-eroding life experiences. Her work helps clients move beyond survival into self-respect, inner safety, vitality, and embodied sovereignty. As a speaker and writer, Vicky is passionate about closing the gap in modern health education. She believes people are often taught how to work hard, achieve, and push through, but not how to protect their energy, regulate their bodies, or build sustainable vitality before illness or burnout forces them to stop. Her mission is to help people understand that energy is the foundation of performance, self-care is an act of self-respect, and true healing begins when we return to the body, reclaim dignity, and build a life from vitality rather than survival. - Alberta Muembo, How To Understand People And Prevent Conflict, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Alberta Muembo holds Bachelor's degrees in History and International Studies from the University of Saskatchewan, with a minor in French and Global Studies Certificate. These achievements did not come lightly or through her efforts alone. Ten years ago, Alberta and her family moved to Canada from Kenya as Congolese refugees. Before leaving Africa, her parents emphasized that she and her siblings moved to Canada with one goal: each had to achieve a Bachelor's degree before engaging in any activity. Alberta had already completed one year at the Outspan Medical College in Kenya, so her parents expected her to continue on that path. However, Alberta took much work to fulfill the academic requirements for entering medical school. One of the reasons was that Chemistry was one of the most challenging courses for her, and she was very new and shy about asking questions. Consequently, Alberta reflected this behaviour in her grades until one summer when Alberta took a history course. She scored one of the highest grades with les effort than in Chemistry. As a result, she received a congratulatory letter from the History department. This started her secretly pursuing history courses without telling her family. Enventually, she told her siblings and begged them not to tell their partents. She has received two letters of congratulations from the history department. Consequently, she completely switched her major to International Studies, which allowed her to take many hisory courses. At that time, she feared switching to History because she could not see how a Western History degree would enable her to serve a Congolese person. As time passed, Alberta's parents discovered that she had shifted her focus from her initial goal of attending Medical school. Their reaction was a mix of disappointment and encouragement as they grappled with the realization that their daughter was forging her path. The two letters of congatulations from the history department served as a bittersweet reminder of Alberta's possible academic achievements. One day, when she met with an academic advisor to inquire about her graduation, this excellent advisor discovered that Alberta qualified to graduate in International Studies and History. Therefore, besides the International Studies degree and Global Studies certificate Alberta pursued, she also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History, all thanks to this exceptional academic advisor. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, Alberta coordinated the Women Employment program at the Conseil Economic et Cooperatif de la Saskatchewan (CECS). Today, she coordinates Saskatchewan's SME Succession Hub and Solution Repreneuriat programs at teh CECS. According to her, these tow programs are the best to prevent business owners from shutting down their businesses. Instead, the programs encourage business owneres to list their businesses for free. Below is a summary of the two programs: 1. SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Succession Hub offers business sellers and business transfer experts a free platform in English and French to advertise their businesses and servises through: - FREE registration and listing on the platform - With zero commission cut on transactions - Creating a unique meeting platform for sellers, buyers, and experts In summary, this program facilitates interactions between sellers, buyers, and experts to support anglophone and francophone entrepereneurs. 2. Solution Repreneuriat provides a unique and privileged opportunity for anglophone and francophone women interested in buying or starting a business in Saskatchewan. It offers a FREE platform that includes: - FREE registration on the platform - FREE training on the pros and cons of buying an established business in Saskatchewan - FREE business consultations from our experts - FREE business plan - FREE access to the SME Succession Hub and its benefits - FREE WESK (Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan) membership for a year According to Alberta, these two prgrams are the best government programs for entrepreneurs who want to buy and sell businesses in Saskatchewan. Alberta also works with her cousin to start her haircare line business, Super Miujiza. She has already distributed ten samples to friends and family who sincerely appreciate the product. When she is not working, Alberta enjoys sharing stories on her YouTube channel, Heart2Heart with Alberta Muembo. According to Alberta, if there is one thing she wishes her readers to take away from what she shared, it is that we need each other to succeed.
