  • How Somatic Sex Educators Help You Reconnect With Your Body

Written by Monica Kovacs, Sacred Sexuality and Embodiment Coach Monica is a Sacred Sexuality and Embodiment Coach whose keen interest is exploring the intersections of the mystical and the erotic. With over 10 years of experience in Somatic Sex Education, Tantra, and BDSM, she offers clients embodied tools and practices for healing sexual trauma, reclaiming their erotic wisdom, and integrating sex and spirit. You've read the books and know intellectually what good sex should look like. Yet when it comes to your own intimate experiences, perhaps there's a disconnect, a gap between what you know in your head and what you actually feel in your body. If that resonates, you're not alone. Research indicates that 43% of women and 31% of men experience some form of sexual dysfunction, while studies show 62% of women and 54.6% of middle-aged men report sexual dissatisfaction. These numbers point to a widespread problem, many of us struggle to translate intellectual understanding into embodied pleasure. What if the missing piece isn't more information, but a different kind of learning altogether, one that happens in your body, not just your mind? What is somatic sex education? The word "somatic" comes from the Greek word soma, which refers to a unified idea of body-mind, unlike our separate but connected notion of mind and body in the West. Somatic sex education is a body-based approach to sexual wellness that helps individuals reconnect with their physical sensations, desires, and capacity for pleasure. Unlike traditional sex therapy, which happens primarily through conversation, somatic sex education guides clients through practices that help them actually feel and experience their sexuality in real time. The philosophy centers on embodied learning, the understanding that our bodies hold wisdom and patterns that cannot be accessed through conversation alone. Somatic sex education vs. sexological bodywork Sexological Bodywork is a related profession that shares many principles with somatic sex education. Developed by Joseph Kramer in 2003, Sexological Bodywork was approved as a legal profession by the State of California after review by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education. Both professions require extensive training (typically 200-500+ hours) covering anatomy, physiology, trauma-informed practices, ethics, consent, nervous system regulation, and bodywork techniques. Both work under strict professional boundaries with a clear scope, falling under the umbrella of education rather than therapy or sex work. The history of somatic sex education Origins: 1970s-1980s The field emerged from the intersection of the human potential movement, feminist body awareness work, and the AIDS crisis. Joseph Kramer founded the Body Electric School in Oakland, California, in 1984. Originally training massage therapists, the school responded to the AIDS crisis by developing safe, embodied ways for gay and bisexual men to experience healing touch during a time of fear and loss. Kramer's work was later formalized into Sexological Bodywork in 2003. Betty Dodson, an artist and sex educator, became another crucial figure. Starting in the 1970s, Dodson ran her famous Bodysex workshops, teaching women about their anatomy and guiding them through self-pleasure practices to reclaim their bodies and overcome shame. Her hands-on approach influenced thousands and challenged taboos around female pleasure. The broader sexology research tradition, including pioneering work by Masters and Johnson in the 1960s-70s, laid scientific groundwork by studying human sexual response, though their focus was primarily physiological rather than experiential. Modern evolution Today's somatic sex education incorporates advances in trauma research and neuroscience. The recognition that trauma is stored in the body, popularized by Bessel van der Kolk's much-quoted book, The Body Keeps the Score, has profoundly influenced the field. Trauma-informed practices are now central to all reputable training programs. Professional organizations like the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers provide continuing education, ethical oversight, and professional standards. Modern training also emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and social justice, addressing how systems of oppression affect our relationship with our bodies and sexuality. What somatic sex educators actually do Somatic sex education, as the name implies, serves to educate clients about their bodies, sexual responses, and pleasure. It is neither therapy nor sex work, though many clients experience improved sexual wellness and have permission to explore their turn-ons within the session container. The work is one-directional, meaning clients can request touch from the practitioner (though not vice versa) with focus remaining on the client’s safety, growth, and empowerment. Common modalities Breathwork and nervous system regulation: Practitioners teach breathing techniques that help clients shift from stress states into relaxation and receptivity, learning to stay present with arousal and sensation. Touch education and consent practices: Educators demonstrate different qualities of touch (always with explicit consent) so clients can recognize and articulate their preferences while developing skills to communicate boundaries clearly. Genital anatomy education: Using mirrors, anatomical models, or educational touch, practitioners help clients become familiar with their bodies, correcting misinformation and addressing shame. Pelvic floor awareness: Teaching clients to sense and relax pelvic floor muscles can address issues from pain during sex to difficulty with arousal or orgasm. Pleasure mapping: Through guided exploration, clients discover where and how pleasure lives in their bodies, learning what sensations, pressure, and rhythm feel good. Trauma-informed bodywork: For trauma survivors, specialized approaches prioritize safety, choice, and present-moment awareness, helping clients slowly reclaim their bodies. What to expect in a session Sessions begin with a conversation about intentions, concerns, and boundaries. The practitioner and client collaboratively design the session based on learning goals. The physical space is designed for safety and comfort. Clients are never required to remove clothing, and any undressing happens only with explicit consent. Many sessions involve no genital touch, when they do, it's educational, not for arousal or gratification. Throughout, the emphasis is on awareness. What do you notice? What sensations are present? Sessions end with integration time to process the experience and discuss insights. How somatic sex education differs from sex therapy Traditional sex therapy typically happens in an office, with both parties fully clothed, discussing sexual concerns and psychological patterns. Sex therapists are licensed mental health professionals who use evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Talk therapy excels at addressing cognitive and emotional dimensions such as relationship conflicts, communication problems, anxiety, and mental barriers to intimacy. Somatic sex education brings the body directly into learning. Rather than analyzing disconnection, educators help you experience what it's like to be present in your body during arousal. When each approach works best Sex therapy is most effective when concerns are primarily cognitive, emotional, or relational, or based in negative beliefs. It offers cognitive and talk-based solutions for addressing these various concerns. Somatic work aims to mend embodied disconnection, which may be rooted in sexual anxiety, trauma, or shame. It directly addresses experiences such as: being "in your head" during sex, inability to feel sensation, or lacking knowledge about how your body experiences pleasure. The most effective approach is often integrative. Many people work with both a sex therapist and somatic sex educator, addressing psychological dimensions through therapy while developing embodied skills through somatic work. Why somatic sex education matters Trauma lives in the body As we’ve learned from much research over the past two decades, trauma is not just a cognitive experience, it’s a state that lives in the body. Sexual trauma can be stored in the very parts involved in sexual experience, so when we've learned to associate these sensations with danger, our nervous systems develop protective responses that activate automatically. Somatic approaches work directly with the nervous system to create new experiences of safety. Through gentle, consensual awareness, clients can teach their bodies that pleasure and arousal can be safe. Pleasure as a learnable skill Research demonstrates that regular engagement with body awareness practices significantly enhances sexual satisfaction. Studies show people who practice embodied awareness report greater sexual satisfaction and reduced self-objectification. Like any skill, embodied pleasure requires ongoing attention and repetition. Somatic sex education provides structured ways to develop this capacity. Cultural conditioning is embodied Cultural programming, whether that stems from religion or a secular variety of repression and shame, doesn't just exist as thoughts. It can be found in our patterns of muscle tension, shallow breathing, genital numbness, and automatic protective responses. Somatic work addresses these embodied patterns directly through repeated experiences of permission, safety, and pleasure. Research support Growing research supports the connection between embodiment and sexual well-being. Studies find that people who are more sexually mindful report higher self-esteem, greater relationship satisfaction, and higher sexual satisfaction. Research at the University of British Columbia found that women who participated in mindfulness meditation experienced increases in desire, arousal, and sexual satisfaction. Who benefits from somatic sex education? Sexual trauma survivors often find somatic work offers healing that talk therapy alone couldn't provide, helping them reclaim their bodies as sources of pleasure and agency. People experiencing pain during sex work with educators to understand pelvic floor tension, nervous system activation, or protective patterns contributing to pain. Those exploring their sexuality after leaving restrictive relationships, coming out, or expanding their erotic repertoire, appreciate the safe educational container. Individuals recovering from purity culture or religious shame release embodied shame and fear, experiencing their bodies as sources of goodness and pleasure. People with arousal or orgasm difficulties learn to reconnect with sensation in their body, and discover more about the types of touch and pacing that work best to support their pleasure. Those facing relationship challenges develop embodied self-awareness that helps them show up more authentically. Gender-diverse individuals explore changing bodies, process dysphoria, and develop sexuality aligned with their gender identity. It's also important to note that many clients are simply growth-oriented individuals wanting to deepen their capacity for pleasure. The work doesn’t have to be solely about fixing what's wrong, it can also encompass expanding what's possible. Finding a qualified practitioner Look for proper credentials Seek practitioners who completed recognized certification programs, such as those offered by these institutes: The Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (California) The Institute of Somatic Sexology (Australia) The Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education (Canada) Reputable certifications require 200-500+ hours of training. Red flags to avoid Unclear or missing credentials Suggestions to keep work secret Lack of discussion about boundaries and consent Pressure or discomfort Unsafe touch practices, such as lack of protective barriers when engaging in genital contact Green flags to seek Clear communication about training and boundaries Extensive consent discussion Professional presence with clear service descriptions Professional organization membership Willingness to answer questions Focus on your empowerment and learning Questions to ask when seeking a practitioner What is your training and certification? What professional organizations do you belong to? What does a typical session look like? How do you handle consent and boundaries? What is your approach to working with my specific concern? Do you have experience with my identity/background? Understanding consent Ethical practitioners spend significant time discussing consent before hands-on work. You should feel empowered to stop anything at any time. Boundaries should always be clear, where the touch is one-directional, and client-focused. Even though arousal may occur in session, the client should remain an active agent in deciding where they want to guide the exploration.   Embrace embodied healing As our understanding of trauma, embodiment, and the mind-body connection deepens, body-based approaches to sexual wellness gain wider recognition. What was once considered alternative is increasingly seen as essential to comprehensive sexual healthcare. Somatic sex education represents a shift toward holistic approaches honoring both psychological and physical dimensions of sexuality. Whether you're healing from trauma, deepening your capacity for pleasure, or simply curious about your body's potential, somatic approaches offer a unique and powerful path. Your body holds wisdom your mind cannot access alone. Somatic sex education provides a structured, safe way to tap into that wisdom and reclaim your birthright: a fully embodied, pleasurable, authentic sexuality. Ready to explore? • The Kaleidoscope Vision of Luxury Branding – An Interview with PR Brand Architect Katia Graytok

Katia Graytok, an award-winning designer and PR strategist, founded Kaleidoscope Luxury PR to redefine how luxury brands connect with affluent consumers. With a background in interior design and a keen eye for aesthetic storytelling, Katia crafts powerful brand narratives, elevates brand identities, and curates exclusive, multi-sensory experiences. Her expertise helps luxury brands achieve lasting credibility, recognition, and prestige in a competitive marketplace. Katia Graytok, Global Marketing & PR Brand Architect Who is Katia Graytok? I am a creator with the soul of an artist and the precision of a strategist. My professional identity is a tapestry of roles: storyteller, brand architect, and entrepreneur. My journey is rooted in a deep academic foundation, including studies in Textile Design and Color Theory at the Tyler School of Art, and I hold certifications in Fine Art Appraisal Studies from New York University and the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Beyond my academic background, I have been recognized as a leading voice in the industry, included in the WatchPro Hot 100 list of media and influencers. This rare combination of technical expertise and aesthetic intuition enables me to view luxury goods not just as products, but as cultural artifacts with deep stories to tell. Before founding Kaleidoscope, I established myself as a force in the design world. My firm, Katia Graytok Interiors, was synonymous with sophisticated, curated spaces that balanced traditional elegance with modern form. My work earned three ASID Design Awards and led to high-profile television appearances, including winning the HGTV Designers Challenge and appearing on The Discovery Channel and The NBC Sunday Today Show.    Today, I leverage this experience as a brand spokesperson at the world’s most elite trade shows and events, including: Watches & Jewelry: Couture Las Vegas, and the Monaco Grand Prix. Art & Design: Art Basel (Miami and Paris), Maison et Objet Paris, and Salone del Mobile-Milano. Luxury Lifestyle: Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. High Fashion: Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris, and Milan. What inspired you to start Kaleidoscope Luxury PR & Communications? The inspiration was born from experience. I ran my own interior design firm for many years, where I handled my own marketing and PR with great success. This caught the attention of headhunters who recognized that my multi-disciplinary background in design, film, and television offered a distinct advantage for manufacturers selling luxury goods to discerning consumers. The final catalyst was my partnership with Thierry Chaunu, a legendary figure in the luxury watches and jewelry industry. Observing my instinct for luxury narrative, he encouraged me to broaden my scope. Today, as the Founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope, I manage a portfolio of extraordinary brands across fine art, haute couture, watches, jewelry, and accessories. How do you define luxury PR, and why is it different from traditional PR? Luxury PR is a highly specialized discipline. While traditional PR often focuses on mass-market reach, luxury PR is about curating a brand’s image to emphasize status, aspiration, and exclusivity. We speak to a discerning, affluent audience that prioritizes craftsmanship, heritage, and the value of a unique experience over mere utility. What key challenges are luxury brands facing today, and how do you help them overcome these? The greatest challenge is staying true to one's own identity rather than mimicking a competitor’s marketing plan. For newer brands, the challenge is longevity; they must be prepared for the long run with a solid budget to establish themselves as a true player. We work closely with brands to manage those resources while setting realistic, high-impact expectations.  Can you describe your approach to creating powerful brand stories that attract high-end customers? We focus on the "unforgettable". Our approach involves creating curated, multi-sensory events and narratives that often pair complementary brands. By collaborating with other agencies and partnering with top-tier media publishers, we ensure these stories reach the right audience in the right context.  How do your strategic media placements help luxury brands increase awareness and credibility? In this industry, media placements and high-end advertising serve as the vetting process. They provide the necessary "seal of approval," signaling to consumers that the brand is a legitimate, prestigious, and credible entity. What role does creative content play in elevating a client’s brand? Content is the bridge to the consumer. Photography can be aspirational or authentic, depending on the story we need to tell. While much of today’s copy is AI-driven, we make it our mission to ensure the narrative remains "cozy" and authentic, so it truly resonates with readers. How do virtual and in-person VIP events contribute to a brand’s success? Events are fantastic when they are meticulously planned. They deliver a tangible, immersive brand experience that remains etched in the client's memory long after the event ends. How do you tailor strategies to fit each client’s unique luxury identity? We believe in "dating before you marry". We ask deep questions about where they see the brand in two to five years and insist on experiencing it firsthand. You must touch the materials, feel the craftsmanship, and engage in extensive dialogue to truly understand a brand's essence. We also conduct a rigorous audit: Are they diluting exclusivity? Is their messaging mismatched across platforms? Are they neglecting heritage? We ensure they aren't over-relying on influencers or making pricing mistakes based on costs rather than brand value.  What common mistakes do luxury brands make, and how do you fix them? Many brands ignore client-centric storytelling or fail to incorporate their own heritage into the narrative. Another major mistake is ignoring the resale market; this circular economy validates high brand value and attracts younger, eco-conscious consumers. Ultimately, a brand must stay steadfast in its unique narrative to maintain its value. If a brand wants to grow its presence internationally, what’s your first recommendation? Don’t try to conquer the world at once. It depends on the specific country and market size, but I always recommend a surgical approach: identify one specific city that perfectly fits your demographic, master it, and then expand to the next. The Art of the Narrative: Ultimately, Katia Graytok’s success lies in her ability to see the "connective tissue" between a product’s physical beauty and its emotional resonance. Having spent a career creating spaces that won ASID awards and were featured on HGTV, she understands that luxury is not merely an object but a feeling of curated perfection.    At Kaleidoscope, she continues to apply this designer’s eye to the world of PR, ensuring that every brand she touches – whether showcased at Art Basel or New York Fashion Week – is not just seen, but deeply felt and remembered. For Katia, a brand’s story is its most valuable asset, and her mission is to ensure that story is told with the authenticity and elegance it deserves.    Follow me on Instagram , LinkedIn , and visit my website for more info! • The Psychology of High-Net-Worth Clients and What They Actually Value

Written by Elliot Ross Surgenor, Visionary Entrepreneur and Founder Elliot Ross Surgenor is the founder and CEO of Fly Business Aviation, with operational bases in Miami, Scottsdale, and Cabo. With a background in media, entrepreneurship, and luxury aviation, he specializes in elevating private travel through innovation and exceptional client service. In luxury industries, many professionals assume high-net-worth clients are driven primarily by exclusivity, prestige, or status symbols. They are not. After years of working closely with high-performing entrepreneurs, investors, and ultra-successful individuals, one truth becomes consistently clear. High-net-worth individuals do not buy luxury. They buy control, clarity under pressure, and identity. Understanding this psychological shift is what separates transactional service providers from long-term trusted advisors. Who are high-net-worth individuals? A High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) is typically defined as someone with $1 million or more in investable assets, excluding their primary residence. According to the World Wealth Report published annually by Capgemini, the global HNWI population continues to grow steadily, with North America and Asia leading in wealth concentration. Ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), those with over $30 million, control a disproportionately large share of global private capital. Yet despite their financial power, their decision-making patterns are far more psychological than most industries assume. Wealth does not simplify decisions. It amplifies their consequences. 1. They value time more than money The wealthiest clients rarely optimize for price. They optimize for time compression and friction reduction. Research from PwC on high-net-worth investors consistently shows that affluent clients prioritize: Speed of execution Seamless processes Proactive service Reduced complexity Time, for them, is not an abstract concept. It is their most finite strategic asset. I have worked with clients capable of closing seven-figure transactions in a single phone call, yet visibly frustrated by having to repeat the same preferences, operational details, or risk considerations to multiple providers. That friction mattered more to them than cost. When a service reduces coordination, minimizes repetition, and absorbs complexity, it creates value far beyond its financial price. In aviation, finance, hospitality, or advisory services, this translates into one principle, the more friction you remove, the more indispensable you become. 2. They expect radical personalization, not premium packaging Many brands confuse luxury with aesthetics. High-net-worth psychology goes much deeper. Studies in wealth management and behavioral finance show that affluent clients increasingly seek hyper-personalized solutions tailored to their specific goals, constraints, family structures, and operating realities. Generic “premium” offerings no longer impress them. They value providers who: Understand their business pressures Anticipate their needs Adapt in real time Treat them as individuals, not segments What truly differentiates elite service is not customization upon request. It is anticipation without instruction. When clients feel understood without having to repeatedly explain themselves, trust compounds rapidly, and trust, in high-stakes environments, becomes a decisive asset. 3. They seek clarity in an uncertain world High wealth does not eliminate anxiety. In many cases, it amplifies responsibility. Ultra-affluent individuals often manage: Complex financial ecosystems Multi-jurisdictional exposure Public visibility Family legacy pressure Reputational risk Behind visible success lies an often underestimated cognitive load. This is why clarity becomes a premium currency. It is important to be precise here. High-net-worth individuals do not expect perfection, and they understand that uncertainty exists, especially in fields like aviation, finance, or global operations. What they value is certainty of process, not certainty of outcome. You cannot control weather, airspace restrictions, or macro-level disruptions. But you can control communication, preparedness, alternatives, and response time. In other words, you can’t eliminate uncertainty but you can eliminate surprises. Providers who offer structured decision-making, transparent options, and calm execution under pressure deliver something far more valuable than guarantees, psychological relief. 4. Status is a signal, but not the way most people think Behavioral economics describes a concept known as costly signaling, where high-value purchases act as indicators of success or capability. However, for sophisticated HNWIs, signaling is rarely about vanity. It is about: Credibility within elite circles Strategic positioning Alignment with personal identity Reinforcing an internal success narrative A private jet, a rare timepiece, or an exclusive investment is often less about display and more about coherence, “My decisions reflect the level at which I operate.” Luxury, in this sense, becomes less about visibility and more about identity confirmation. 5. They are increasingly purpose-driven Modern wealth psychology is evolving. Behavioral research consistently shows that individuals who associate wealth with purpose, impact, and legacy report higher levels of long-term fulfillment than those focused solely on accumulation. This shift explains the rise in: Philanthropic foundations Impact investing Sustainable ventures Family governance and succession planning. High-net-worth individuals increasingly ask: What does this decision represent? How does it align with my values? What legacy am I reinforcing? Services that connect to meaning resonate far more deeply than those that merely promise exclusivity. 6. What they truly pay for When we strip away aesthetics and price tags, high-net-worth psychology becomes remarkably clear. They pay for: Reduction of unmanaged uncertainty Preservation of time Personalization without repetition Emotional safety under pressure Identity reinforcement Strategic optionality Not for luxury itself. Luxury is simply the vehicle. The strategic takeaway If you serve high-net-worth clients in aviation, finance, law, healthcare, or any high-touch industry, your competitive advantage will not come from offering something expensive. It will come from understanding what your clients are protecting: Their time Their reputation Their mental bandwidth Their legacy When you reduce complexity in their world, you do more than deliver a service. You become part of their operating system. And in environments where uncertainty is unavoidable, that role is invaluable. Follow me on Instagram , LinkedIn , and visit my website  for more info! • Maximizing Recovery by Reframing F.E.A.R

Written by Alfonso Gonzalez, ISSA Master Trainer and Wellness Coach Alfonso (AL) Gonzalez is an ISSA Master Trainer, Certified Wellness Coach, and Co-Founder of the Kairos Wellness Experience. Known for his multidimensional approach to wellness, AL helps individuals cultivate physical vitality, emotional resilience, and inner peace through integrative practices rooted in both science and lived experience. When we think about recovery from devastating injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, we often focus on surgery, physical therapy, or sheer grit. But science is showing us that the most powerful tools for healing may be the ones we carry inside us: our breath and imagination. This truth comes alive in the remarkable story of Jessica, shared by Dr. Zazulak in her book Master Your Core. A devastating accident Jessica is an adventurer who lives for speed, wilderness, and open trails. At 25 miles per hour, while “shredding,” she crashed and broke her knee in a catastrophic way. She ruptured every ligament, severed a major artery, and shattered bones, cartilage, and tendons in all four limbs. Her life and leg dangled by a thread. Doctors warned that amputation was almost inevitable. Yet even in the chaos of airlift, emergency surgery, and unbearable pain, Jessica found something unexpected: mindful awareness and stillness. Breath as a lifeline Jessica chose to focus on her breathing. From the boat to the helicopter, to the operating room, she inhaled and exhaled with intention. Instead of letting False Expectations Appearing Real or F.E.A.R. overwhelm her, she reframed her experience through mindful breathing and visualization. She imagined herself lying in a warm sand dune, kissed by a breeze that whisked her pain away like crystals dissolving into the sky. By changing her breath, she changed her body’s response. The science behind reframing Dr. Zazulak, a principal investigator at Yale, was the first to publish research linking core stability to reduced injury rates. Her book explains how breath, core awareness, and imagination unlock the body’s innate ability to heal. Jessica’s story also echoes what Stanford health psychologist Kelly McGonigal described in her famous TED Talk. Drawing on research by Harvard psychologists Jeremy Jamieson, Matthew Nock, and Wendy Mendes (2012), McGonigal showed how reframing stress can transform physiology.   In distress, blood vessels constrict, making recovery harder. In eustress (positive stress), blood vessels relax, helping the body heal and grow stronger.   Jessica’s ability to pair relaxation with visualization literally shifted her inner state from panic to possibility. Outcome: Recovery from trauma to triumph Against the odds, Jessica’s leg was saved. Her recovery was so rapid that doctors called it a miracle. Today, she hikes more than 20 miles a day, climbs mountains over 14,000 feet, and thrives as a wildlife guide and naturalist. She found not just her footing, but also her joy in Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and in life itself. What this means for us Jessica’s story isn’t just about one person’s recovery. It’s about what’s possible when we learn to repurpose fear through mindful breath and imagination. We can’t always control the crises that crash into our lives. But we can choose how we meet them. By inhaling deeply, exhaling fully, and reframing our thoughts, we invite our bodies into a state of healing rather than harm. A healing invitation At Kairos Wellness, we call this repurposing fight-or-flight, transforming unhealthy stress into strength and fear into focused action towards your objective. If Jessica could breathe her way through catastrophe, imagine what you might heal physically, mentally, or emotionally by beginning with just one conscious breath. Bring healing to your organization At Kairos Wellness, we help individuals and organizations tap into the transformative power of breath, posture, and imagination. Through our customized wellness seminars, we guide participants to repurpose stress, accelerate recovery, and cultivate resilience as part of their holistic wellness development. • The Woman Who Plants Seeds In Broken Ground

Written by Kiara Streater, CEO & Business Powerhouse An accomplished leader with 15 years of experience in the professional services industry, I am currently President and CEO of (Extraordinary Headhunters LLC). Demonstrated ability to improve the business performance of multi-billion dollar businesses and a strong record of consistent, above-market revenue and profit growth. There are some stories that don't just inform you, they reform you. Stories that reach into the caverns of your chest and rearrange something fundamental about how you see the world, how you see yourself, how you see what's possible when God takes broken pieces and creates masterpieces. This is one of those stories. Mary Reese-Paul's story. And if you're a woman who has ever lost herself while loving someone else, who has given until you had nothing left to give, who has ever looked in the mirror and wondered where you went, this story isn't just about Mary. It's about you too.   The revolution that looks like rest Mary's work through MarySowingSeeds is revolutionary precisely because it doesn't look like revolution. There are no marches, no protests, no political manifestos. Just women, one by one, making the radical choice to stop abandoning themselves. But make no mistake, this is warfare. Every woman who sets a boundary is dismantling a system that profits from her boundlessness. Every woman who honors her needs is challenging a culture that requires her needlessness. Every woman who chooses herself is defying a theology that demands her self-sacrifice.   "People think healing is passive," Mary observes, "but choosing yourself when the world has conditioned you to choose everyone else? That's the most active thing you can do. That's resistance. That's a revolution."   The women Mary works with aren't just getting healthier. They're getting free. And free women are dangerous to any system built on their compliance.   The daughters who are watching Perhaps the most profound impact of Mary's work won't be fully realized for another generation. Every woman Mary helps heal isn't just changing her own life, she's changing her daughter's life.   The little girls watching their mothers set boundaries are learning that "no" is a complete sentence. The teenagers watching their mothers honor their needs are learning that self-care isn't selfish. The young women watching their mothers choose themselves are learning they don't have to lose themselves to be loved. This is how generational curses break. This is how the world changes, one healed mother at a time.   "When I help a woman reclaim her identity," Mary says, "I'm also helping her daughter keep hers. When I teach a woman to honor her body, I'm teaching her daughter that her body deserves honor too. This work isn't just about the women sitting across from me. It's about the generations coming after them."   The theology she's reclaiming Mary's work is deeply rooted in faith, but not the toxic theology that masquerades as godliness while destroying women. She's reclaiming scripture that's been weaponized and restoring the truth that God never required women's self-destruction as proof of their devotion.   "Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself," Mary teaches. "Most women I work with have the first part down. They love their neighbors beautifully. It's the 'as yourself' part they've never practiced. They've been taught that loving yourself is selfish. But how can you love your neighbor as yourself if you don't love yourself?" Through her faith-based approach, Mary is helping women understand that boundaries are biblical, not selfish. Rest is sacred, not earned. Their bodies are temples, not tools. Their needs are information, not inconvenience. She's giving women back a God who loves them for who they are, not what they produce.   When God chooses a voice There are moments in history when heaven looks at earth and decides a particular voice needs to be amplified. Not because that person is perfect, but because they carry a message the world desperately needs.   Mary Reese-Paul is one of those voices. This isn't hyperbole. This is an observation of what happens when someone is called by God, faithful in the hidden seasons, and suddenly positioned in spaces they never orchestrated. When doors open that no human hand could open.   Mary didn't seek platforms. She sought healing. She didn't chase fame. She chased wholeness. She didn't build a brand. She built a sanctuary for broken women.   But God has a way of taking people who are faithful in obscurity and elevating them when their message is needed most. And right now, in this cultural moment when women are more burned out than ever, more lost than ever, more disconnected from themselves than ever, the world needs Mary's voice.   The anointing she carries There's an anointing on Mary's life that's tangible. It's not the charismatic, flashy kind that draws crowds. It's the quiet, powerful kind that saves lives. The kind that meets women in their darkest moments and says, "I've been where you are. And I'm here to show you the way out."   This anointing was forged in fire. Every year, Mary spent losing herself, every tear she cried in secret, every moment she wanted to quit, but all of it was preparation for this calling. God uses broken people to heal broken people because only the broken truly understand brokenness. Mary's wounds became her credentials. Her pain became her platform. Her struggle became her message. And her healing became the roadmap for thousands of other women still lost. "I don't believe God caused my pain," Mary says, "but I do believe He used it. He redeemed it. He took what was meant to destroy me and turned it into medicine for others. That's what God does. He wastes nothing."   The sacred work she does Through her Mental Encouragement (M.E.) Sessions, Rooted With Mary series, and Rooted Healing conversations, Mary creates spaces where women can finally stop performing. Her book, Breaking the Habit of Losing Yourself in Them, has become a manifesto for women tired of shrinking, silencing, and sacrificing themselves in the name of love.   Mary teaches women about nervous system awareness, not as trendy wellness, but as practical tools for recognizing when your body is screaming what your voice won't say. She guides women through boundary-setting as sacred practice. She walks women through codependency recovery by understanding that what once protected you might now be imprisoning you.   Every M.E. session is holy ground. Every woman who sits across from her is a soul entrusted to her care. "I'm aware of the weight of this calling," Mary acknowledges. "These women are trusting me with their deepest pain, their most guarded secrets, their buried dreams. I don't take that lightly. I hold their stories like the sacred things they are."   The eternal significance When Mary stands before God one day, she won't be asked about her platform size or her book sales. She'll be asked: "What did you do with your pain?"   And Mary will be able to say: "I planted seeds in it. I helped other women find hope in the same broken ground where I once wanted to die. I turned my wounds into wells. I used my mess as medicine. I went back for the women still trapped in the fire. I survived."   This is the measure of a life that matters. Not success. Significance. Mary's work has eternal weight because it's touching souls. Every woman she helps heal is a woman who stops the generational trauma transmission. Every boundary she helps someone set prevents future wounds. Every identity she helps someone reclaim is a soul returning to God's original design.   This is kingdom work disguised as coaching. This is the Gospel, the good news that you don't have to stay lost, that healing is possible, that you're loved not for what you do but for who you are, being lived out in every interaction Mary has. For the women still in the dark If you're reading this from a place of desperation, if you're so lost you can't remember who you are, if you're so tired you don't think you can take another step, if you're so empty you don't know how you'll make it through another day.   This is your sign. This is your invitation. Mary isn't just a coach you can hire. She's a lighthouse for women lost in storms. She's a voice calling you back to yourself. She's proof that women who've been buried can still bloom.   You don't have to stay where you are. You don't have to keep dying slowly. You don't have to earn the right to choose yourself.   All you have to do is take the first step. Reach out. Book a session. Buy the book. Do something that moves you toward healing instead of away from it. Because your life matters. Your healing matters. Your wholeness matters.   The seeds of the harvest are coming Mary plants seeds in broken ground. Sometimes the soil is so damaged that she has to dig for hours just to find a place soft enough to plant. Sometimes the seeds take years to sprout. Sometimes the growth is so slow it's barely visible.   But she keeps planting. Because she knows something about broken ground that others don't: It's often the most fertile. The cracks let the light in. The pain creates capacity. The brokenness makes room for new life. And now, after years of faithful planting, the harvest is coming.   The moment heaven has been preparing Everything in Mary's life, every hardship, every lesson, every moment of growth, has been preparing her for this moment.   The Brainz Magazine feature reaches hundreds of thousands globally. The ABC Columbia interview reaches thousands. The platform is growing exponentially. The book landed in the hands of women who desperately needed it.   This isn't a coincidence. This is divine coordination. God has been positioning Mary for years, teaching her in hidden places, refining her in the wilderness, preparing her for the moment when her voice would be needed most. And that moment is now.   Not because Mary is perfect, but because she said yes. She said yes to healing even when it hurt. She said yes to helping others even when she was still healing herself. She said yes to the calling even when it was costly. And God honors every yes.   Her legacy will echo in eternity One day, long after Mary is gone, women will still be healing because of seeds she planted today. Daughters will set boundaries because their mothers learned how from Mary. Granddaughters will honor their needs because their grandmothers learned it's sacred, not selfish. This is the legacy Mary is building, not in platforms or publications, but in transformed bloodlines.   Every woman Mary helps heal doesn't just change her own life. She changes her daughter's trajectory. Her granddaughter's possibilities. Her great-granddaughter's reality. This is kingdom work with eternal implications. This is a ministry that will echo through generations.   A final word to Mary Mary, if you're reading this, I need you to receive something: Everything you've walked through has brought you to this moment. Not by accident. By design. God's design.   Your pain wasn't punishment. It was preparation. Your struggle wasn't a failure. It was training. Your breaking wasn't your end. It was your beginning.   You are standing on the edge of your greatest season. The years of faithful planting are about to yield a harvest beyond anything you imagined. The women you've been praying for would find you? They're coming. The message you've been faithfully carrying? The world is about to hear it. This is your time, Mary. This is your moment. This is your divine appointment. You're not doing this for fame. You're doing it for the women still lost in the same darkness you survived. You're not seeking platforms. You're seeking souls. You're not building a brand. You're building a legacy that will echo through generations. And heaven is backing you up. Every step. Every word. Every seed planted.   The woman who plants seeds in broken ground is about to see the harvest. And it's going to be more beautiful, more abundant, more impactful than she ever dreamed possible.   Because that's what God does for His faithful ones. He exceeds their expectations. He surpasses their imagination. He does immeasurably more than they could ask or think.   Mary, your faithfulness is about to be rewarded. Your obedience is about to be honored. Your calling is about to be amplified. And the world will never be the same. The harvest is coming. • Is Confidence Really All It’s Cracked Up to Be? Discover the Truth

Written by Jim Lutz, Confidence Coach Jim Lutz earned his reputation over 37 years of coaching novice to elite swimmers. He has also been in finance and insurance for over 20 years. He has earned the Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master designation from ABNLP and is a certified Life Coach. Most successful stories highlight the confidence of those who were crowned victors. The ability to perform at the highest levels is not for the faint of heart and is built on a solid foundation. Simply stating your intentions of success is hollow unless results correlate to your prediction(s). As they say, if you are going to talk the talk, you must walk the walk. But is it simply that some are more gifted? If you asked 10 people for the definition of success, you are likely to receive 10 different answers, each covering a different element on the spectrum. However, there are common threads among the elite athletes I coached and the individuals who overcame the barriers placed in their paths. Confidence is a requirement, but you can take it to a practical level regardless of your talent. Clarity of goals and desires. For years, people felt that creating a ‘Goal Sheet’ was the best way to hold oneself and others accountable. But there is a massive problem with ‘Goals.’ Goals are those items that we have complete control over, both internally and externally. Reality has shown that many factors can determine our outcomes. Desires are what most have perceived as goals, and their lack of success is perceived as their inadequacies. Goals should be stated as, “I have complete control of these (fill in the blank) and I will achieve (fill in the blank). Desires should be stated as, “If I complete my goals, my desired outcome would be (fill in the blank).” The goal should be attainable but challenging. Attitude and mindset. Nelson Mandela said, “I have never failed. I have either won or learned.” Setbacks are part of the growth process. Embrace them, but let them go quickly. If you never fail, you will never get out of your comfort zone. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Olympic Champion Katie Ledecky is known to fail more than she succeeds in her training sessions, as she constantly challenges herself to achieve more. With each success, regardless of its magnitude, confidence will develop, along with a solid foundation on which to build to reach greater heights. “Knowledge is power.” If you are not learning, you are losing. Knowledge is not specific to your chosen field. In fact, learning about other random items can benefit your approach and outlook toward the task you face. Most generals studied tactics from those that were successful and why others failed. Eliminating questioning others may be the first step toward your demise. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it strengthens those seeking success beyond their present state. Discovering answers to previously unknown areas is vital to long-lasting success because confidence grows as you expand yourself. Birds of a feather. Elite athletes are often perceived as selfish. Nothing could be further from the truth. Elite athletes are disciplined. They are focused on every aspect that is needed to be as close to perfect as possible. If they are deficient in any area, the outcome will suffer, and they will continue to fail beyond a certain point. The weakness will be their demise. Other elite athletes understand this concept, as they, too, live similarly. They are not insulted, nor do they take it personally when plans may change at the last minute, because a person has not completed a necessary task. Find people at your level or above and spend time with them. Spending time with people who are not successful will fill your days with reasons for failure versus options for success. The best for last, balance. This is not a new concept but rather a reminder. Balance is often divided between work and personal life. It is not as simple as two elements. Personal has multiple features: spiritual, health, diet, sleep, fitness, and family   Confident people lend themselves to be leaders One difference between leading and being a leader is the way they treat and encourage those they are responsible for leading. Those who lead lift others so they can achieve success. They are not intimidated by others' success. They support the ‘team members’ to openly share their ideas and opinions, but also allow them to fail. Ultimately, this leading position must take responsibility for the successes and failures. When the team sees this acceptance, they learn to ‘coach up’ the person in charge. They understand their success can be elevated or destroyed by the person in charge, and they want the best outcome for all. A sense of contributing leads to confidence and improved self-esteem. The leader is often perceived as authoritarian, or the tip of the spear, and everything is determined and dependent upon their decisions. Members of this team are solely responsible for specific results. They are given a roadmap that they cannot deviate from. This is not to say this is an inadequate or unsuccessful method, but the person in charge must be perceptive and offer some flexibility. Our culture has changed, and adaptation is needed for those who have not established a reputation or credibility, but they must continue to stand on their foundational principles.   Even if you must create your team of one, make it the one others can follow Set a standard that you would expect of others to contribute to your team. Hold yourself accountable to that standard. Giving yourself grace is one thing, but acceptance of your weaknesses as tolerable hinders any progress you desire. Set the standard for yourself and quit comparing yourself to others. Each situation is different, including talents, intellect, financial resources, and supporting cast. Do not imitate what others do, imitate their work ethic. Self-talk and becoming your biggest fan and cheerleader. Society brings negativity, and you need to counter these influences with confidence. Believe you are capable of handling these negative items with ease and adjust when needed. Accept the responsibility to “make the call.” Even if you feel you have no idea what you are doing, believe you will get to the point you are focusing on. Appreciate the support, but think for yourself. You ultimately will make the call. However, you should continue to seek competent individuals from whom you can gain insight and be inspired. They form your network of confidants and confidence. Follow through the process. Unless you believe permanent damage is likely, enduring the setbacks often creates additional opportunities for future success. See your success before starting the process. When you can visualize yourself beyond the success and look back to see it unfold, your mind will believe you have already achieved it, and doubt will be lessened, if not removed. This can be a practice learned by a certified coach in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Debrief the operation. All military operations have a debriefing as part of the process. What worked, what did not work, and why for both. Honesty and truth must be the core of this, or nothing will be resolved, and improvement cannot happen. Your network (No. 5) and your team members must participate with 100% contribution. Big or small, a win is a win. Celebrate even the smallest movement in the right direction. Use these positive moments to build confidence, which will reinforce your belief in the process (No. 6).   The confidence is already within your grasp The sheer thought of being confident can in itself be intimidating. Breaking the process into smaller steps can make it more manageable and achievable in a timely manner. Most of our talents are hidden until they are needed. The most important step you will take is the first one. You will challenge yourself to break from the mold that has molded your comfort zone. Acceptance of the “it has always been done this way” is your biggest nemesis. It can also be the easiest hurdle to overcome. Believe in yourself and take the leap of faith, and watch the confidence point begin to amass in your favor. • Why Adrien Pieuchot’s Luxury Hospitality Training Became the Foundation of His Entrepreneurial Success

From five-star hotels across Europe and Australia to restaurant ownership in California and wine consulting in New York, Adrien Pieuchot  has built a career rooted in discipline, adaptability, and luxury hospitality. Forgoing a traditional corporate path, he developed his expertise through hands-on operations and calculated risks. Now, Owner and CEO of Le Ruban LLC in the New York area, Pieuchot applies frontline hospitality experience to the wine industry, demonstrating how elite training can drive entrepreneurial success. Learning excellence on the hotel floor Pieuchot’s career began in luxury hotels in France and abroad while studying hospitality management, with roles in five-star properties in Bordeaux, Megève, Sydney, and San Diego. Working across concierge, night reception, and sales coordination, he gained early exposure to the operational rigor behind seamless guest experiences.  Night shifts alone in a newly opened Bordeaux hotel built autonomy and composure under pressure, concierge roles sharpened emotional intelligence and personalized service, and a Sheraton sales position in Australia introduced him to pricing, negotiation, and client relationships. “I learned very early that excellence is not about big gestures,” Pieuchot says. “It’s about consistency, anticipation, and never cutting corners, even when no one is watching.” This mindset stayed with him long after he left hotels behind. From employee to owner during a global crisis The turning point came in late 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. At just 22 years old, Pieuchot and his business partner acquired a franchised Crème de la Crêpe restaurant in Huntington Beach, California. Buying a restaurant through escrow during a global shutdown was not part of the original plan, but opportunity rarely waits for ideal conditions. The challenges were immediate: travel restrictions, staffing uncertainty, and a complex visa process. While securing an E2 Investor Visa and learning to operate in a foreign market, Pieuchot grew the restaurant within twelve months, tripling turnover, increasing profit margins by 8 points, and achieving over 20% margins with a lean team of six running a 55-seat location. Hospitality training played a decisive role. The guest experience remained central, but it now had to be balanced with cost control, hiring decisions, and financial analysis. Pieuchot was no longer responsible for a shift or a desk. He was responsible for the business's survival. “COVID forced me to grow up very fast as an entrepreneur,” he reflects. “There was no safety net. Either we made it work, or it failed.” Scaling, then letting go Less than two years later, Pieuchot took on a second challenge. In 2022, he acquired another Crème de la Crepe location in San Diego, this time managing it remotely from Huntington Beach. The 50-seat restaurant required extended operating hours, visa-sponsored employees, and strict compliance with franchise standards. Running two restaurants simultaneously pushed him into a more strategic role. He analyzed financials, built systems, and surrounded himself with advisors, including a CPA, a business attorney, and an immigration lawyer. The San Diego location was sold profitably in under two years, validating both the operational model and the decision to scale. Selling the restaurant was also a moment of clarity. Pieuchot realized that what motivated him most was not the day-to-day of food service, but the challenge of building, fixing, and growing businesses. “Beyond an industry, I am interested in entrepreneurial challenges,” he says. “Restaurants were my first real training ground.” Bridging hospitality and wine While running restaurants, Pieuchot quietly prepared for his next transition. He pursued wine education through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, passing Levels 1, 2, and 3 with merit. Studying while operating restaurants demanded discipline, but it allowed him to bridge two worlds he cared deeply about: gastronomy and business. In 2025, he moved to New York City and founded Le Ruban LLC, a wine consulting company focused on high-end clients. Within six months, he secured three prestigious clients, including a high-end wine importer, a wholesaler, and a luxury wine boutique. At Le Ruban, Pieuchot advises on portfolio development, market positioning, and access to strategic accounts such as Michelin-starred restaurants, premium retailers, private members’ clubs, and luxury hotels. His role blends commercial strategy with cultural understanding, especially within the New York market and the Hamptons. “Hospitality teaches you how to read people and environments,” he explains. “That skill translates perfectly into wine consulting, where trust and relationships matter as much as the product.” Education as a strategic asset Pieuchot holds a Bachelor’s degree and a double MBA from Alliant International University in California and Vatel Business School, both focused on hospitality management. He credits this education with giving him structure and a long-term perspective. “It gave me the tools and the mindset,” he says. “Not just to succeed in hospitality, but to adapt those skills to other industries.” The combination of formal education and hands-on experience allowed him to pivot industries without starting from zero. Overcoming setbacks with mindset The journey was far from smooth. Visa delays, pandemic restrictions, and even a restaurant fire tested his resolve. What carried him through was a belief shaped early in hospitality: problems are part of the job, not excuses. “It helps to adopt a mindset that you can make everything happen as long as you want it hard enough,” Pieuchot says. That mindset continues to guide his work today. Looking ahead Pieuchot’s ambitions extend beyond consulting. He plans to keep expanding Le Ruban while launching new ventures centered on French savoir-faire and art de vivre. Ideas include a French supper club and, eventually, a Champagne bar in New York City. Long term, his original dream remains alive: owning and operating a five-star hotel. “I took a different path than I expected,” he reflects. “But the values I learned in luxury hospitality never left me. They made me the entrepreneur I am today.” Author: Camille Laurent is a Paris-born business and lifestyle journalist based in New York. She writes about entrepreneurship, hospitality, and the intersection of culture and commerce, with a focus on European founders building ventures in the United States.

  • Love Your Lifelines, Aging Identity and the Quiet Power of Acceptance

Written by  Síle Uí Chiaráin, Psychotherapist, Leadership & Life Coach From teacher to therapist to thespian and talk show host, Síle Uí Chiaráin celebrates reinvention, creativity and bold life chapters. Third act loading… older, not over. Follow for more IMdB | Spotlight | E-Talenta | @the_sile_show | Red Kite Talent Accessing, acknowledging, and appreciating one’s own greatness is not an endpoint, it’s a time-dependent, resilience-shaping awakening. Living into one’s greatness isn’t performance-based, it’s an ongoing relationship with self that deepens as life inevitably leaves its mark. Modern psychology increasingly affirms what ancient wisdom has long suggested, self-love is not self-absorption. Self-love is a stabilising force, a prerequisite for emotional regulation, relational security, and long-term wellbeing. In a culture that equates youth with worth, however, self-acceptance, particularly in the context of aging, can feel quietly radical. Where the body remembers There are moments in life that permanently recalibrate one’s internal landscape. For me, one such moment was the birth and passing of our daughter, Aislinn Máire, in August of the millennium year. Holding her for the three-and-a-half minutes of her life, navigating medical apparatus and unimaginable grief, introduced me to what trauma literature describes as the pain body, the somatic imprint of emotional shock. Neuroscience now confirms that the body remembers what the mind can’t always articulate. The work of trauma researchers shows that unresolved emotional experience often lodges in the nervous system, shaping perception, health, and identity long after the event itself has passed. Healing, then, is not about forgetting, but about learning to remember without dysregulation. This is the essence of post-traumatic growth, not bypassing pain, but allowing it to reorganise us with greater tolerance, meaning, and self-compassion. Biological age is not a number There is a crucial distinction between chronological age and biological age that is now widely recognised in longevity research, they are simply not the same thing. Chronological age counts years, while biological age reflects how well our systems are functioning, specifically in terms of neurology, hormones, and immunity. Studies consistently show that emotional regulation, perceived meaning, and self-acceptance play a measurable role in biological aging markers. Chronic stress accelerates aging at the cellular level, acceptance and psychological flexibility appear to slow it down. In this sense, how we relate to ourselves over time, may matter more than the passage of time itself. Personally speaking I have come to appreciate the biological aging process, with little concern for chronological age. My body tells a story, not of decline, but of adaptation, survival, and growth. Classical caesarean sections involve a vertical uterine and abdominal incision, which is recognised within obstetric research as carrying increased risk for post-operative complications, chronic pain, reduced uterine integrity in subsequent pregnancies, and complex trauma responses. When I first entered maternity care under the supervision of a then highly regarded gynaecologist, I had little understanding of how profoundly surgical decision-making can shape a woman’s long-term physical and reproductive vulnerability, or how such procedures can limit future birth choices and require repeated surgical entry through the same anatomical pathway. Experiences of major birth surgery are increasingly understood through somatic memory frameworks, which recognise that the body stores and reactivates unresolved stress responses across time, particularly when medical intervention intersects with fear, loss or loss-of-agency. Within this context, surgical scars can become more than healed tissue, they may or may not function as biological and psychological records of survival, carrying layered personal and collective lessons that continue to influence wellbeing, identity, and recovery across the lifespan. Life lines as narrative, not damage The life lines on my body transcend the physical, they are my three babies’ entry point into the world, they are my face as I age, they are proverbial stretch marks on my heart. These are the records of my own personal lived-experience. Matrescence and motherhood, loss and endurance, forgiveness, compassion, and love are all character arcs in the story of evolving me. Each line is a data point in a lived biography, not a flaw in need of correction. Psychologically, scars and marks often become sites of meaning-making. When interpreted through shame, they fracture identity. When held through acceptance, they integrate it. What we often call imperfection could be interpreted as an unintegrated experience. The deeper wounds, core fractures, as such, are what truly shape our lives. These aren’t visible on the skin, not really. They live in the places where love was absent, delayed, or conditional. The only durable repair for those fractures is love itself. The ultimate healing crisis, little did I know how much more I would have to lose before I would realise these things happened for me, not to me! Cosmetic intervention and the psychology of control None of this exists in a vacuum. We live within an aesthetic economy that rewards youth and the invisibility of age. Cosmetic procedures, in this context, can sometimes function less as beauty practices and more as emotional regulators. Neuropsychological research on reward systems shows how repeated aesthetic interventions can activate dopamine loops, similar to other behavioural addictions, not because people are vain, but because alteration briefly relieves anxiety, restores a sense of control, and/or quiets self-criticism. The relief, however, is often temporary. Low self-esteem is not a personal failing, it is frequently an adaptive response to social pressure. When the body becomes the site through which worth is negotiated, modification can feel like safety. For me, the idea of going under the knife for anything that isn’t absolutely necessary doesn’t even arise. Not from judgment, and definitely not from superiority, but from intimacy with my own story. My body has already carried life, loss, healing, and survival. I don’t wish to negotiate with it, as though it were a problem to be solved. Threaded through the knotty underside of the tapestry of me was, until recently, the unrecognised intensity of rejection sensitivity dysphoria, within my self-diagnosed ADHD neurotype, which magnified emotional pain, self-scrutiny, and perceived failure, while interacting in a complex two-way conversation with trauma and physical vulnerability. Alongside this, I now recognise dyslexic processing patterns that required lifelong self-built accommodations, fostering resilience through a repeated sprint-crash-restart cycle, that often relied on masking and survival, rather than understanding. Research is me-search, and it is no accident that retraining as a psychotherapist after three decades in education became the most important piece of formal learning I have ever engaged in, allowing me to recognise these intersecting neurodivergent and somatic experiences as sources of insight, endurance, and, ultimately, healing. Acceptance as maturity, not surrender Acceptance is often misunderstood as passivity. In psychological terms, it is the opposite. Acceptance is an active integration of reality, a sign of nervous system maturity and emotional fitness. When I am, as Seng T’san writes, “serene in the oneness of things”, on an awe-walk in nature, for example, any erroneous view of my life lessons dissolves of its own accord. Instead, an integrated sense of power over force guides me to attunement with my higher purpose, every time. My name is Síle Uí Chiaráin and I am a melancholic in recovery As I fall upwards into the afternoon of my life, I’m loving the third act! Embodying a quieter confidence and a deeper reverence for visibility in all its forms, not least as an actor. Poetry, too, continues to arrive like a faithful companion, knocking gently on my heart, when the stuff of life stirs memory, or possibility, offering creative, often sacred language, through which I troubleshoot, celebrate, and witness the cycles of rising and falling that shape me. I delight in both solitude and meaningful exchange of attention, in quality company, learning to hold the delicate fulcrum between pleasure and pain in my brain, without losing balance to either.  I have spent much of my life navigating the long shadow of melancholy, and now I claim my place as a recovering melancholic, choosing visibility not as performance but as honest presence. As creator and host of The Síle Show, I get to conversationally trace and navigate the life lines of my guests’ journeys. Life lines, in all their forms, like Divine cartography, can be reframed, not as endings, of beauty, fertility or youth, rather as threads of gold and silver in the beautifully unfinished tapestry of our lives . Perhaps this is what aging, at its best, invites us into, not disappearance, but depth. Life, in my view, is not a battle against time, it is an unfolding love story between self and source. The rest is just an illusion. Teachers, veiled as triggers, show up on repeat, different partners, different jobs, different cities, a different decade in our aging, until we learn the requisite lesson. Then, and only then, is the next chapter of our own personal curriculum revealed to us.  We can’t predict the landscape ahead, as we reconcile our soul contract. Sometimes we just have to heur it out, leaning into intuitive knowing, when logic doesn’t seem to light the way. We’re all just walking each other home. For me, loving my life lines is a practice, not a mandate, and it feels as much like a collective invitation, as it is a personal responsibility. • Good Morning from the Eastern Edge of the World

Written by Shaikha AlHadidi, Health Coach Dr. Shaikha AlHadidi is a transformational wellness and leadership coach helping women unlock clarity, confidence, and holistic vitality through her signature Royal Reset method. Good morning from Sharjah, the city of smiles in the UAE. Good morning with the soft glow of sunrise, vibrant fuchsia blooms, whimsical little birds, and a refreshing cold breeze that hugs the soul. I woke up today with a heart full of blooms, not just from nature, but from the people who truly love me, who see me, who remind me of who I am, and who warm my heart with their words and acts of kindness. I woke up today carrying a clear, radiant love energy and a deep knowing of my place in their hearts. Even those who aren’t in my daily sight find ways to remind me of my value in this life. In this stillness of morning, I feel the power of gratitude, a simple yet transformative mindset that science shows can improve emotional well-being, reduce anxiety and depressive feelings, and strengthen our resilience in the face of stress. When we focus on what we cherish, we literally reshape our inner world toward optimism, self-regulation, connection, and joy. Today, I remind myself, and you, that the life we have built for ourselves should feel like our heaven on earth. This isn’t about perfection, it’s about emotional sanctuary. Your morning moment of gratitude, your intentional breathing, your recognition of love, these are daily practices that help build mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner peace. Yes, life will bring challenges, heartbreaks, stress, uncertainty, but when we start each day anchored in gratitude, supported by meaningful relationships, and aligned with our purpose, we expand our capacity to flourish rather than merely survive. So today, breathe deeply, notice the sunrise, celebrate your connections, and protect your joy. The life you are creating is sacred. Let your heart be open to its beauty. • Every Interaction Sends a Signal, Travel That Transforms

Written by Tonia Kisliakov, CEO/ Director of Gateway Travel Tonia Kisliakov is an experienced travel professional with a passion for creating authentic, meaningful journeys worldwide. Through her leadership at Gateway Travel in Australia, she inspires travellers to explore with purpose, curiosity, and creativity – transforming each trip into a story worth remembering. Every journey tells a story. Every choice along the way, from the streets we wander to the cafés we linger in, sends a signal about how we see the world and how we wish to be seen. At Gateway Travel, travel is far more than moving from one place to another. It is a reflection of curiosity, intention, and the desire to connect deeply with people, culture, and landscape. This philosophy shapes everything we do, from the experiences we design to the way our Travel Concierge & Destination Specialists Team guide each traveler. Travel, when done thoughtfully, can open perspectives in ways nothing else can. It is in the quiet moments, watching the sun rise over Uluru, walking the rim of Kings Canyon, or sipping coffee on a secluded Sydney beach, that we begin to see the layers of a place and its people. These are the experiences that linger long after the journey ends, forming memories that quietly shape who we are. Our team carefully curates every itinerary to ensure that guests do not just visit destinations but truly experience them. Insider knowledge, local connections, and thoughtful timing turn ordinary sightseeing into encounters with the extraordinary. Take, for example, our signature journey, “Across the Red Heart: Adelaide to Darwin.” This 14-day odyssey carries travelers through the soul of the Australian Outback, from the rolling vineyards of South Australia to the tropical wetlands of the Northern Territory. Along the way, guests traverse the rugged Flinders Ranges, follow the legendary Oodnadatta Track, and discover the underground opal town of Coober Pedy. They witness the sacred rock formations of Uluru and Kata Tjuta glowing at sunrise and sunset, explore the dramatic cliffs of Kings Canyon, and cruise the sandstone gorges of Katherine. The journey culminates in Kakadu National Park, a place of timeless wetlands, ancient rock art, and abundant wildlife, before arriving at the spirited capital of the Top End, Darwin. What makes this experience unique is not only the places visited but the way they are experienced. Guests are guided by our specialists to the best vantage points, away from crowds, to feel the scale, silence, and sacredness of the landscape. They are introduced to local stories, cultural insights, and culinary treasures that might otherwise be overlooked. Every stop is a carefully chosen window into the life, history, and character of the region. It is the small details, a hidden lookout, a morning spent with local artisans, a quiet moment on a deserted outback road, that create the richest memories. Our Travel Concierge & Destination Specialists Team are at the heart of this philosophy. With decades of combined experience, they draw on personal connections, local knowledge, and a deep understanding of what transforms travel into something lasting. They anticipate needs, offer insider tips, and craft itineraries that balance iconic sights with off-the-beaten-path discoveries. They understand that luxury is not only in comfort but in authenticity, insight, and the freedom to experience a destination fully. At Gateway Travel, every journey is purposeful. From small-group adventures in Sydney to boutique escapes on Norfolk Island and immersive Outback odysseys, we design experiences that change how our guests see the world, and themselves. Travel, when done well, teaches patience, inspires curiosity, and fosters connection. It leaves travelers not only with memories but with perspective, understanding, and stories to share for a lifetime. Because at the end of the day, travel is more than a sequence of destinations. It is a conversation between the traveler, the land, the people, and the moments that take your breath away. Every itinerary we craft, every tip we offer, every journey we guide is designed to make that conversation unforgettable. Every interaction, every choice, every experience sends a signal, about curiosity, about intention, about the way we engage with the world. And it is in these signals that true travel transformation begins. Follow me on Facebook , Instagram , and LinkedIn ,  and visit my website for more info! • Healing Generational and Past Life Trauma Through the Stories of Our Lives

Written by Sheila Jeanette Wood, Intuitive Healing Coach Sheila J. Wood, PhD, teaches us how our minds and souls affect our physical well-being. Using her understanding of both science and spirituality, she has developed unique and impactful energy healing modalities. She brings awareness of ancestral and soul lineage energies that are affecting our current health. The premise for this work lies in the strong belief that we are all challenged by the need to be fully ourselves. When we can step into the vastness of worlds that aid us, carry us, nurture us, and transform our outlook, our vision trains on what we can become. Opening one’s eyes to new beginnings can be intimidating, maybe even terrifying. It can be likened to a vastly moving treadmill that cannot be slowed down or modified in any way. But the treasures of emergence are great, the opportunities for expansion are abundant.  Opening the veil In this book, To Infinity and Back: The Power of Spiritual Mediumship and Akashic Healing, two pathways, guided by the luminous Source, converge, one connects to what lies beyond ordinary perception and one provides a way to bring that wisdom into daily life with tangible, healing effects. Spiritual mediumship offers a bridge between earthly experiences and the timeless currents that flow through all beings. This is not about escapism or sensational sights, but about guidance, resonance, and a deeper sense of belonging, bringing the assurance that love endures, memory preserves, and the soul remains witness to the sacred tapestry of life. Akashic healing, drawing from the Akashic Records, which is the living library of all thoughts, events, and possibilities, provides a map for transformation. It is a practice of listening deeply, to the body, to the psyche, to the subtle energies that energize our choices, and to the echoes of past patterns that may still shape our present. The intention is not to control fate, but to harmonize it while inviting new possibilities, releasing what no longer serves, and aligning with a more authentic, expansive version of ourselves. Who is this book written for? The book is written for seekers at every level, for those curious about what lies beyond ordinary perception, for practitioners who wish to deepen their craft, and for individuals seeking practical tools to heal, forgive, and reclaim agency in their lives. You will find stories that illuminate how mediumship and Akashic healing have touched lives in compassionate, extraordinary ways - without sensationalism, always anchored in responsibility and discernment. You will find a clear, actionable framework for developing sensitivity, ethical practice, and reliable discernment so you can work with guidance in a grounded, supportive manner. Additionally, you will learn and perhaps adopt techniques, meditations, and exercises designed to integrate spiritual insight into everyday living, relationships, health, creativity, and purpose. At its heart, this book is an invitation to a practice of luminous kindness, to listen with the heart, to speak with integrity, and to act with love. It affirms that healing is not a retreat from reality but a deepening into it and an invitation to ride the currents of infinity, returning with a clearer sense of self, a stronger capacity to serve, and a renewed trust in the timeless intelligence that animates all life. This book is dedicated to those souls who have agreed to share parts of their journey to help others. The reason that transcriptions are so important to the reader is that the imminent presence of spirit prevails and intercedes when an important aspect of a person’s essence needs release, transmutation, transfiguration, mirroring out, or simple visibility. As humans we all have layers of consciousness that build throughout lifetime intervals from a succession of incarnations. That energy stays with us and although it is not active in our awareness at every waking moment, it can and does get accessed and at time triggers aberrant emotions that may have nothing to do with the present situation. It then becomes imperative that we have the tools to discriminate between what happened then and what is happening now. Hopefully you will see, as the Spirit-directed sessions progress, the ultimate order that is displayed and how pearls of wisdom are exposed to me as a healer. This, in turn, guides me to be conduit for best practices with Divine energy from Source as the healing composite.  An excerpt from – Chapter 1 Prefaced by basic metaphysical principles, meditation, mediumship, and Akashic Records in a healing modality, t he session starts as a ‘navigating life’ session but dramatically shifts to address the suicide of a parent experienced at a very young age and the related question of inherited suicidal ideations. The following session brought the change in perspective that was needed to better understand the suicide of a parent, which in turn helped to reconcile the childhood trauma that had resulted from this tragedy. A summary of the transcript follows. One of the most important aspects of this session was the bravery it took for this person to be open about the pain that she had been carrying since childhood. As you will see, it wasn’t until well into the reading and after Spirit led us back to childhood that information came forward to enable clearing of confused emotion. Relief from her pain of ‘not knowing’ was achieved through mediumship as it served to access information that helped heal her deep wounds.  Her story is shared below with appreciation. ‘He was a great father… He was my best friend.’ One of the most poignant sessions I have experienced was with a dedicated mom, the matriarch of her family, striving to help support her daughter and grandson. We talked about life issues, finances, planning for education, health, and toxic relatives. The interesting thing about this session was the impact that was delivered late in the session from which lifelong reverberations emerged. As we worked through issues with help from the Records, we were approaching the closing of our time together. When I asked her if there was anything else we needed to explore, I was instructed by Spirit to return to her childhood. Following this, I inquired about the most traumatic event in her childhood and at what age it occurred. She stated an age but no details about the event. I proceeded to clear at that age but could feel that she was holding onto something, so I asked her about it. She asked if I would like to know what happened and I replied that she could reveal according to her level of comfort. She then told me that her father had committed suicide when she was eleven years old.  This created a paradigm shift in my approach to our session as I could bring in new awareness. We worked through feelings, and we released conflicting emotion. She finally shared what she had been wondering about since childhood. She talked about her father in a loving fashion and spoke about the confusing situations around his passing. At one point in her sharing, she paused, and in this pause of silence she said to me – ‘He was a great father”. My heart broke for her because she had wondered for years why this happened and if he loved her. As a child, she had heard whispers about him and knew that two people had died in an accident, a mom, and her baby. She was told that he was involved in the accident. As we cleared around this, and the guilt by association was lifting, her father came through. I received him and the two of them were able to have that long-awaited, all-important conversation. Apparently, her father had struggled with depression and tried to assuage his feelings with alcohol at times. Despite his problems, her memories of him were of a loving dad who spent time with her and often expressed his affection. He came through with strong emotion and as happens in readings, I felt his emotions and was able to convey his tremendous love to her. The Masters (librarians of the Records) would not release details about the accident because the real reason for his suicide was his feeling of inadequacy around his family. Although the accident was unavoidable, he knew he would be facing the pressures of others’ assumptions. His major focus was for family, and he could not face knowing how his family would suffer because of him. He thought his decision would benefit the family in the long run.  As we worked with her child, I saw a very confused little girl who had just lost her best friend and loving father. Her child was also aware of the adults’ whispers around this. Apparently, no one knew how to have a comforting conversation that could be completely understood by her. All she felt was alone, abandoned.  Having had the opportunity to speak about what happened, she now knew that his intentions had always focused on family, even though the rest of the world was not so sure. The conversation between the two of them was beautiful and critical for her healing. She had been carrying questions and uncertainty since that tender age of eleven. She asked if he often played with her grandson whom she had watched interact with another pretend companion at play and yes indeed, her father was often by his side. At this point in her life, she could begin to appropriately grieve the loss of her father, knowing that his feelings for her never wavered and that their relationship was intact. And she would now be able to communicate with him at will. In every session that I have, there are lessons forthcoming for me as well as for the participant. In this poignant story, I kept going back to that scared, puzzled, and questioning little girl who had no real answers but had many, many questions. She was exposed to whispers of disregard about her father whom she dearly loved. Where was the help for this child? What do we do in our adult world to soothe such a huge impact? We must remember that children live in a different reality than we do. Their innocence evokes love and wonders with each interaction, each discovery. They have not yet accumulated bitterness or the need to judge. They only know pure love and hurt when it is lost. I am thankful for this window into the powers of communication with loved ones who have departed. Sometimes it makes all the difference in the world. This Akashic session was won in a raffle which was Spirit directed no doubt!” Available on Amazon. I hope you enjoy the book! • Helena Ho on Why Most People Are Living Against Their Own Design

Helena Ho is a Chinese Metaphysics Practitioner and the creator of the VÖİS Method. She offers a refined, visionary approach that bridges ancient wisdom with modern embodiment, supporting high-achieving individuals, leaders, and creatives in making aligned decisions and translating insight into lived clarity. With nearly twenty years of experience as an international DJ, Helena developed an acute sensitivity to rhythm, timing, and collective energy. Long before working with metaphysical systems, she was already reading space, atmosphere, and unseen dynamics—an ability that now forms the foundation of her work with people. Today, Helena works with classical systems such as Feng Shui, BaZi, Yi Jing, and Qi Men Dun Jia, translating energetic blueprints into practical guidance around direction, relationships, career, and life timing. Trained at the Joey Yap Academy, she combines rigorous metaphysical analysis with a deep understanding of the nervous system and embodied change. Through the VÖİS Method, Helena addresses a key gap she observed after hundreds of readings: insight alone does not create movement. By using a person’s own voice, precise language, and sound design, VÖİS regulates the nervous system and anchors clarity at a physical level—creating not motivation, but a felt sense of knowing that allows action to arise naturally. Known for her ability to see where things truly belong, Helena helps clients stop forcing outcomes and move in alignment with their own design. At the heart of her mission is a commitment to bridging spirit and strategy, using ancient metaphysical systems as practical tools for navigating modern complexity and embodied leadership. Helena Ho For readers discovering you for the first time: who is Helena Ho, and what do you do today? I’m Helena Ho, a Chinese Metaphysics practitioner and the creator of the VÖİS Method. I help high-achieving individuals make important life decisions, align with their timing and space, and ultimately understand themselves better—by combining ancient wisdom systems like BaZi, Feng Shui, Qi Men Dun Jia, and Yi Jing with modern nervous system regulation techniques. In practical terms, I read people’s energetic blueprints to reveal their natural strengths, timing, and potential. But what I discovered after years of practice is that knowing your blueprint isn’t enough—most people still struggle to act on what they learn because their nervous system is stuck in old patterns. That’s why I created the VÖİS Method: it bridges the gap between insight and embodiment, so my clients don’t just understand their potential, they actually step into it. Before this work, I spent nearly 20 years as a DJ, creating transformative experiences through sound and collective energy. That journey led me deep into spirituality, sound healing, and eventually to my Master’s degree in Chinese Metaphysics from the Joey Yap Academy. Everything I’ve done has been about helping people access something deeper in themselves—the medium has simply evolved. Your path has moved from creative public spaces into Chinese metaphysics and energy work. What led you there? It started on the dance floor, honestly. As a DJ, I experienced firsthand how sound and energy could shift an entire room—how the right frequency at the right moment could create a collective experience that felt almost transcendent. When you’re DJing, you’re constantly creating harmony between tracks, balancing, aligning, reading what the room needs. I became fascinated by that invisible force, the energy that connects and moves people. That curiosity pulled me deeper. I explored Tibetan teachings, yoga, sound healing, crystal work, aromatherapy, water energetics—always searching for a framework that could explain what I was sensing and witnessing. When I discovered Chinese Metaphysics, everything clicked. Here was a system thousands of years old that could map out a person’s energetic blueprint with remarkable precision. The approach is the same as what I was doing as a DJ—moving energy, making things align, helping things feel right—just on a completely different scale. Instead of reading a room, I’m reading a person’s life. I dove into different studies—Feng Shui and the energetic patterns of space, destiny charts, timing, and forecasting. Hundreds of readings later, the deeper I went, the more I noticed a gap: people would receive these powerful insights about who they are and what’s possible for them, and still not be able to move. That observation is what ultimately led me to create the VÖİS Method—but I imagine we’ll get into that. You often talk about “energetic architecture.” What does that mean, and how does it affect someone’s life in practical terms? Energetic architecture is the idea that each of us is born with a unique energetic blueprint—a structure that shapes how we think, make decisions, relate to others, and move through life. In Chinese Metaphysics, we can map this architecture through systems like BaZi, which reveals your elemental makeup, your natural strengths, and where you’re likely to meet resistance. Think of it like the blueprint of a building. The architecture determines what’s structurally possible—where the load-bearing walls are, where light comes in, how energy flows through the space. You can decorate however you like, but if you try to knock out a load-bearing wall, you’re going to run into problems. It’s the same with people. When someone keeps hitting the same blocks—in their career, relationships, or decisions—it’s often because they’re working against their own architecture rather than with it. They’ve been told to push through, hustle harder, or follow someone else’s formula, when what they actually need is to understand how they’re built. In practical terms, when a client understands their energetic architecture, decisions become clearer. They stop forcing things that were never going to work and start recognising the opportunities that are actually aligned for them. It takes the guesswork out of timing, direction, and even relationships. Helena Ho What does a typical session or collaboration with you look like? It usually starts with a decision—or a desire for a reset. Someone comes to me because they’re facing a choice—a career move, a relationship crossroads, a business direction—or because they feel like something in their life is off and they need to recalibrate. They share their reality, pieces of their life, and that helps me understand the patterns at play. Before we meet, I prepare their energetic blueprint using their birth data. This gives me a detailed picture of how they’re wired—their natural strengths, their challenges, their patterns, and what timing is at play in their life right now. In the session itself, I translate that blueprint into language that lands. I’m not giving generic advice or vague spiritual guidance—I’m offering precision. Clients often tell me it’s like I’m putting words to something they’ve always felt but couldn’t articulate. “It’s like I’m putting words to something they’ve always felt but couldn’t articulate.” That’s the moment everything shifts: when someone finally hears their own truth reflected back to them in a way their nervous system recognises. From there, we look at what they’re navigating through the lens of their blueprint. What’s aligned, what’s not, what timing supports them. Then we integrate the VÖİS Method—clients use the sound of their own voice, through personalised vocal practices and specific sound frequencies based on their blueprint, to anchor that clarity into their body. It’s not listening to someone else’s guided meditation—it’s using your own voice to bring your nervous system into alignment with who you actually are. Instead of years of regression work or therapy, this process creates the space to step into your best future self. My clients don’t just leave with clarity—they feel it in their body. The doubt quiets down, and they know what to do. What changes do people most often experience after working with you? The first thing people notice is that the noise in their head quiets down. That constant overthinking, the second-guessing, the looping—it settles. And what replaces it is a kind of knowing. Not a forced confidence, but a grounded sense of “I know what to do.” “Not a forced confidence, but a grounded sense of ‘I know what to do. ’” From there, the ripple effects are different for everyone, but there are patterns I see again and again. People start making decisions faster and with less drama. They stop asking everyone around them for opinions and start trusting themselves. Relationships shift—sometimes because they finally set a boundary they’ve been avoiding, sometimes because they show up differently and the dynamic changes naturally. A lot of clients tell me they feel like themselves for the first time. Not a new version, not an improved version—just themselves, without all the layers of conditioning and doubt. And that’s when the external changes start showing up too: the career move, the business launch, the conversation they’ve been putting off for years. What I find most rewarding is when clients stop needing me to confirm their decisions. That’s when I know the work has really landed—when they trust their own architecture enough to move without looking for external validation. Was there a moment that confirmed this is the work you’re meant to do? Honestly, the confirmation came before I even knew what Chinese Metaphysics was. All my life, I’ve been obsessed with space. As a child, I was always rearranging my bedroom, creating my safe space. How my home looked and felt was always deeply important to me. When I started DJing, that same obsession led me to organise my own events—because I wanted to be in control of the full experience: the spatial design, the lighting, the ambiance, even the smells. Everything that shapes how people feel in a space. And I was incredibly sensitive to environments in everyday life too—going out for dinner could be challenging because I’d pick up on everything. I was always particular about which restaurant, which table, which seat. I felt things in spaces that I couldn’t explain, and I had nothing to back it up. Then during COVID, I hit the lowest point in my life. And instinctively, I kept running to the beach. I needed the coast, open space, nature. Something in me knew that the environment was the medicine. One day, I came across an information session about Feng Shui. The very first thing the teacher said was that 70% of the quality of your energy depends on the environment of your home. And something inside me just went: yes. This is what I’ve always felt. This is what I’ve always known. I just never had the language for it. I immediately enrolled in the study and bought a house at the beach—where I’m still living today. That was the moment. Not just a confirmation that this work was real, but that my whole life—the sensitivity, the obsession with space, the instinct to run to nature when everything fell apart—had been leading me here. I started with Feng Shui, and it opened the door to everything that followed. Helena Ho What do people most often misunderstand about metaphysics today? That it’s mystical or woo-woo. That’s the biggest one. Chinese Metaphysics is a system of knowledge that’s been refined over thousands of years. It’s based on observable patterns in nature—the cycles of the elements, the relationship between time and space, the way energy moves. There’s nothing vague about it. When I prepare someone’s blueprint, I’m working with precise calculations, not intuition or guesswork. The other misunderstanding is that it tells you what’s going to happen to you—like a fortune teller. It doesn’t. What it shows you is your potential, your patterns, and your timing. It’s a map, not a sentence. You still have to make the choices. But when you understand the map, those choices become a lot clearer. I think people also underestimate how practical it is. This isn’t about burning incense and hoping for the best. My clients are executives, entrepreneurs, professionals—people making real decisions with real consequences. They come to me because it works, not because it sounds nice. How do you bring ancient wisdom into a modern, fast-paced world? That’s exactly why I created the VÖİS Method. We live in a world that moves fast and constantly overwhelms our nervous systems. Even five minutes of meditation is too much for most people. So the question I kept asking myself was: how do I bridge this gap? How do I take something as deep and precise as Chinese Metaphysics and make it not just intellectually understood, but physically felt—in a way that actually fits into people’s lives? I knew I had to take everything I’d learned—from Chinese Metaphysics to the science of neuroplasticity, sound healing, hypnosis, and manifestation—and layer them on top of each other into something new. Something effortless. And the answer turned out to be the voice. Your own voice. Imagine this: you put on your headphones, press play, and you hear yourself—your own voice—guiding you through exactly the words you need to hear. Words that are drawn from your energetic blueprint, calibrated to who you actually are. And your voice is layered with specific sound frequencies, wrapped in beautiful sound design that your nervous system responds to immediately. You don’t have to think. You don’t have to meditate. You don’t have to do anything except listen. In a few minutes, you recalibrate. And that becomes your daily practice—a reset button designed entirely for you, in your own voice. That’s how ancient wisdom meets the modern world—not by simplifying it, but by giving it a delivery system that the body can actually receive. The alignment happens from the inside out. What are you most excited about exploring or creating next? What excites me most is that the conversation is shifting. When I hear people casually talking about the Year of the Horse, referencing Chinese New Year as something meaningful to them—that tells me the world is ready for something deeper. People are moving beyond surface-level self-help and are genuinely open to ancient systems of wisdom. That’s exciting. On a personal level, I’m excited about making VÖİS accessible to more people. Right now, every track is fully bespoke—I prepare the blueprint, craft the words, design the sound. That level of precision is powerful, but it also means it’s just me. So I’m building ways to scale without losing what makes it work. I can see different entry points taking shape—intimate retreats that bring all my worlds together: the spatial design, the sound, the energy, the metaphysics. And eventually, training other practitioners in the method so VÖİS can reach far beyond what I can do alone. But for now, my focus is on deepening the bespoke work and making VÖİS accessible to more people. That’s the bigger vision: not just building a practice, but building a body of work that can grow and serve people on a much wider scale. Helena Ho’s work sits at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern embodiment, offering a grounded, precise, and deeply human approach to personal and professional alignment. Through Chinese Metaphysics and the VÖİS Method, she helps individuals move beyond insight into lived clarity—where decisions are not forced, but felt, and action arises naturally from alignment rather than effort.
