- LaTricia Morris, Branding Agent, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
LaTricia Morris, known as The Brand Revivalist, is the founder of Ox & Iron, a full-service branding agency that helps legacy-minded entrepreneurs create brands that resonate deeply with their audience. LaTricia believes that branding isn’t just about how a business appears—it’s about how it appeals to the market. It’s not just about logos and identifiers; it’s about defining a company’s true identity, purpose, and the lasting impact it has on those it serves. LaTricia’s path to branding started in 2013, when she began designing her own children's books. Unable to outsource the design work at the time, she embraced the mindset that “everything is figureoutable.” She taught herself graphic design, book design, and web design using Adobe Creative Suite. What began as a necessity quickly turned into a passion in leveraging these tools to equip and empower others to be the most powerful versions of themselves. As her skills continued to evolve, others took notice, with organizations across the country commissioning her to take on their projects as well. As Ox & Iron grew, LaTricia has led her small but dedicated team in helping businesses amplify their brands through purposeful design and strategic messaging. With a vision to expand globally, LaTricia is focused on scaling the agency to serve clients around the world, building brands that stand out, connect deeply, and make a lasting impact. LaTricia's expertise continues to expand, having studied under some of the top minds in branding, business and marketing along with ongoing education as she ever looks to have more to offer to the amazing clients she works with. Her broad knowledge—gained through formal education and hands-on experience—drives the success of her company. Guided by boldness, innovation, and tenacity, LaTricia continues to help entrepreneurs build brands that endure, pushing boundaries and inspiring others to do the same. - Jamie Coscia, Mindset Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Jamie Coscia, LCSW-R, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mindset Coach, and founder of Time to Heal Coaching. For nearly 30 years, Jamie has dedicated her career to helping individuals heal from anxiety, trauma, and the emotional patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Throughout her clinical career, Jamie worked with children and families impacted by trauma, witnessing how early experiences shape emotional responses, beliefs, and protective patterns that often carry into adulthood. As she began working with adults, she recognized that many intelligent, capable, high-achieving women are not held back by a lack of ability or motivation—they are often held back by patterns their brain and nervous system developed to keep them safe. A pivotal moment in Jamie’s professional evolution came when she discovered EFT tapping over 10 years ago. This expanded her understanding of healing beyond traditional cognitive approaches and deepened her appreciation for the connection between emotions, the nervous system, the body, and lasting transformation. Through Time to Heal Coaching, Jamie helps high-achieving women who appear successful on the outside but privately struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, procrastination, overthinking, and self-sabotage. She helps women understand the protective patterns keeping them stuck, heal what has been holding them back, cultivate self-trust, and create powerful identity shifts so they can finally move forward on the dreams and goals they have carried for years. Jamie’s approach integrates nervous system regulation, trauma-informed healing, EFT tapping, and energy alignment. She believes lasting transformation happens when women understand themselves with compassion, release outdated patterns, and reconnect with their vision, purpose, and the person they are becoming. As an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, Jamie writes about the intersection of neuroscience, trauma-informed healing, and energy alignment, exploring self-sabotage, emotional healing, identity transformation, and the science behind meaningful change. Jamie believes the greatest tragedy is not failure, it is allowing fear, self-doubt, or old protective patterns to keep us from becoming who we are capable of becoming. Her mission is to help women stop talking themselves out of their dreams and step into their next chapter with confidence, authenticity, and purpose. - Joanna Hulton, Ph.D., Family Therapist, Author & Educator, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
For me, it has always been all about the children. It started long ago when, as I child, I suffered at the hands of the adults around me. Mental illness held a tight grip on my family, making home an unpredictable environment that needed my constant attention and management. As childhood wounds found their place inside my nervous system, I became extremely adept at at the game of survival. My creativity, capacity to engage in fantasy, and love for nature got me through times that were emotionally hard. I lived a secluded life in a self-made shelter that shook violently with each passing storm; luckily its foundation withstood the pressure. Much of my time was spent observing and listening to those around me, in an attempt to understand and predict their behavior. With this understanding I could more or less keep myself safe. My empathy turned out to be the very shield that protected my self-development, albeit a wobbly one. Leaving home to go to school was the promise of a new future. I can still conjure up a faded image of the nursery school I attended, a place where colors were brighter, smells were sharper, and new sounds meant something exciting and wonderful was happening. There was the thrill of opening a brand new box of crayons, playing with instruments that turned our classroom into a joyous cacophony of rhythm, and yes, of course the most important, the most intriguing resource of all, the books. Believing I was the luckiest child in the world, I did not realize that school was something that all children experienced. My earliest teachers filled me with hope and desire. To them, I was likable and lovable; and in their simple ways they reflected this back to me as I sat, hard at work, creating things at my miniature desk, or outside when I got my swing to go higher than the day before. I was, in the words of one teacher, “the still water that ran deep.” I finally felt understood. By the time I entered first grade, my sister had been born. She was a beautiful baby who unfortunately echoed the emotions of the family with her constant shrieking and colicky displeasure over being alive. Life as I knew it would never be the same. My parents, now even more stressed, fell apart at the seams. Like all the king's men and their beloved Humpty Dumpty, I was never able to “put them back together again.” My first grade teacher reported my sturdy intelligence and creativity; but it fell on the deaf ears of my distracted parents, who did not appreciate how much I loved school. And thereafter, school was no longer the pleasure it had been. By second grade, what was happening at home was taking its toll on me; and by year's end I was described as depressed, unable to express myself and lacking the confidence to achieve academically. And because most of my teachers responded with a profound lack of empathy, my memories of school are tinged with regret and pain. It would be years until, with the help of several teachers and mentors, I started to discover my value and what was holding me back. Because of my childhood, my work is sacred. It continues to educate and support teachers, parents and children. Spending decades in the intersection of education and psychology, I am the author of two books, maintain a private practice, and lecture and supervise other professionals. My website https://www.thechildrenspeaceinitiative.org merges knowledge and empathic support, fulfilling its mission is to change lives and indeed, in its way, to change the world. Having so much more to share, I am excited about this partnership with Brainz.
