  • Charmaine Heard, Relationship Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Like many others I’ve come through a lot of pain, self-inflicted and from others. I used to think that if I was nice and played by “the rules” I would achieve success in all areas of my life. While I have had success in many ways and love in my life, I spent years exhausted, unhealthy, and had mild depression.   I've never been the type to be OK with the status quo or a routine life. I’ve always been drawn to personal growth and development, pushing myself to expand and grow. I learned to stop breaking my own heart. With sheer will and the many brilliant teachers, mentors, my therapist and coaches, I lovingly woke myself up from the illusions and painful patterns I was in. My mission: to help move others into a greater sense of love. • Janine Danielle Bishop , Authenticity & Empowerment Mentor , Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Janine Danielle is an authenticity & empowerment mentor whose work is rooted in a powerful belief - the greatest thing you will ever become is fully yourself. Through a unique combination of lived experience, spiritual practice & frontline work, Janine helps people see beyond the conditioning, expectations & identities that can disconnect them from their own power, worth & potential.   Her work was born from a journey she knows intimately. After spending years becoming versions of herself shaped by expectation & approval, Janine reached a point where living anything other than her truth was no longer an option. In 2020, she changed the direction of her life, immersed herself in holistic & personal development practices, gained diplomas across multiple modalities ranging from meridian psychotherapy to counselling, & went on to coach women 1-to-1, facilitate goddess circles, moon ceremonies, sound baths & transformational group experiences.   Alongside her empowerment work, Janine has supported highly vulnerable people within a high-support homeless service for many years. Working across such contrasting worlds has given her a distinctive perspective, one that bridges deep inner transformation with the raw & often complex realities of the human experience.   Janine believes that the visions we hold for ourselves are there for a reason. The version of ourselves we long to become is not a distant, better version waiting to be created, but a recognition of something already within us. Her work is about uncovering that self beneath the noise, trusting what has always been there & having the courage to live from it fully.   Rooted in spirituality & unapologetic in her individuality, Janine brings depth, humour, honesty & genuine care to everything she does. Her own journey has taught her that the qualities we are tempted to hide, soften or change in the pursuit of acceptance are often the very qualities that make us powerful.   It is this belief that sits at the heart of Janines work & the message she wants others to remember - No one is you & that is your power! From its beginning, the culture has been one of providing help and advisory services to clients and candidates alike. As the firm grew, the practice evolved more of a generalist focus, covering almost every industry segment across finance & investment, medical, technology, consumer, and more, to manufacturers and suppliers; US and International. With that history, HGI has helped many of the largest corporations in the world as well as private businesses and start-ups. The key to success is grounded in the firm's process of thoroughly understanding the clients' needs as well as hiring managers' preferences to enable effective 'digging' into likely sources; and identifying accomplished candidates that require actual recruiting before presentation to clients.
