- Yevheniya Shalimova , Executive Coach for Coherent Leadership, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Yevheniya Shalimova's path to executive coaching began far from the boardroom. She was born in the former Soviet Union to parents who both served in the military and moved with her family to Ukraine in 1987. She began travelling internationally in 1995 and studied at several Bible schools in the United Kingdom. From 1995 to 1998, she served as personal assistant to the chairman of an international Christian organisation, travelling across Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Israel. Her responsibilities included translating shipping contracts for 10-11 annual sailings between Ukraine and Israel, each valued at approximately USD 100,000. She was later ordained as a pastor and served as a military chaplain in Ukraine from 2013 to 2015. More than 30 years in Christian ministry shaped her capacity to remain present with people under pressure and to honour the whole person behind a role or responsibility. In 2019, Yevheniya began her professional path in coaching. When the war entered its full-scale phase in 2022, she relocated to Norway and rebuilt her life and professional path from the ground up - learning Norwegian, finding work, caring for her daughter, continuing to coach and study, and developing The Shalimova Method™. Today, she is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), executive coach and founder of The Shalimova Method™. She has delivered more than 2,300 coaching hours to clients across 35 countries and coaches in English, Norwegian, Ukrainian and Russian. Her continuing education includes programmes in resilience, mental health, well-being and leadership offered by Harvard and Yale. She led the end-to-end Russian-language publication of two books - from publisher negotiations and translation to editorial production, launch presentations and international distribution. Operation Exodus was subsequently distributed across 22 countries on five continents. She partners with accomplished leaders to close the gap between outward success and inner fulfilment. - Andréa Gill, Influence Agility Expert, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Andréa Gill is a strategic influence specialist and the founder of PINE Perspective, where she helps leaders decode organizational dynamics to amplify their impact. Her guiding conviction is deceptively simple: it's not about you. Real influence, she argues, begins the moment leaders shift their focus outward, reading what goes unspoken, building trust on purpose, and aligning people around a shared goal. With more than 15 years in leadership development and over a decade teaching at ESG UQAM, Andréa grounds her work in science rather than intuition. Her research on how political skill helps ethical leaders foster organizational citizenship behaviors was published in the Journal of Managerial Issues, showing that ethics and political savvy are not opposing forces but synergistic ones. She also co-authored a study in the Journal of Career Development on how proactive behaviors shape employers' rehiring decisions. That same rigour now anchors Influence Agility™, the framework at the heart of PINE Perspective, built on the premise that influence is a learnable, measurable skill rather than an innate gift reserved for a lucky few. From 2013 to 2020, Andréa was co-founder and COO of Services Praxie, a strategy and organizational development firm. Earlier, she spent nearly six years at Loto-Québec, most recently directing the project office for its casinos and gaming halls. She holds an MBA in organizational development and pursued doctoral studies in human resources and organizational development. Pairing analytical rigour with emotional intelligence, Andréa turns human complexity into a lever for performance. Her promise to the leaders she works with: to help them navigate the most intricate landscapes with agility and authenticity, building leadership that inspires and mobilizes. - William Dean Durrant, Chirologist, Consciousness Facilitator & Author, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
William D. Durrant describes himself as a Chirologist, intuitive consciousness facilitator and metaphysical lyriscist for the spiritually impaired. He is a visionary guide, psychic intuitive and the architect of his own soul's evolution. With decades of study in martial arts and deep energy work, William has spent a lifetime navigating both the seen and unseen realms. Having walked a path marked by profound personal batles and transformative breakthroughs, he has developed a unique, grounded approach to spiritual growth that moves beyond empty platitudes and into the realm of what it means to be truly awake. A cornerstone of William's practice is chirology - the art of reading the hands as a living canvas. He views the hands as the ultimate diagnostic tool, where the brain and nervous system act as paint brushes, that record the soul's true story. Through his specialised chirological work, William helps the client decode the complex patterns, lines and markers of their hands, transforming them from simple physical traits into a road map of self-understanding. He bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and modern inquiry, allowing people to finally see and understand the story their hands are telling them, enabling deeper clarity and personal transformation. As an executive Contributor, William uses his platform to demystify hand reading and to challenge the concrete 3D systems of the modern world, offering a new perspective for those who feel the pull of a higher purpose. He specialises in "soul architecture" the practice of identifying the blueprints of your life, understanding your nervous system's role in your spritual expression, and learning to grow in the most challenging of conditions. His guidance is not just theoretical; but, born from a life lived with intensity, devotion and commitment. William is a storyteller who speeks to the "unseen" with the same authority he uses to analyse the structure of our society. He believes every individual is a canvas for their own souls expression, and his mission is to provide the brushes, the perspective, and the courage to paint that masterpiece. When he isnt writing or reading hands, you can find William exploring the schoolyard of life with his family, honouring the beauty of every day mystery, and inviting others to step into their own power.
