Andrea Gill is a strategic influence specialist and the founder of PINE Perspective, where she helps leaders decode organizational dynamics to amplify their impact. Her guiding conviction is deceptively simple: it's not about you. Real influence, she argues, begins the moment leaders shift their focus outward, reading what goes unspoken, building trust on purpose, and aligning people around a shared goal.

With more than 15 years in leadership development and over a decade teaching at ESG UQAM, Andréa grounds her work in science rather than intuition. Her research on how political skill helps ethical leaders foster organizational citizenship behaviors was published in the Journal of Managerial Issues, showing that ethics and political savvy are not opposing forces but synergistic ones. She also co-authored a study in the Journal of Career Development on how proactive behaviors shape employers' rehiring decisions. That same rigour now anchors Influence Agility™, the framework at the heart of PINE Perspective, built on the premise that influence is a learnable, measurable skill rather than an innate gift reserved for a lucky few.

From 2013 to 2020, Andrea was co-founder and COO of Services Praxie, a strategy and organizational development firm. Earlier, she spent nearly six years at Loto-Québec, most recently directing the project office for its casinos and gaming halls. She holds an MBA in organizational development and pursued doctoral studies in human resources and organizational development.
