  • Penelope Ling, Solution-focused Hypnotherapist, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Penelope Ling grew up in the multicultural melting pot of London during the 60s and 70s. Working in newspapers and magazines as a graphics journalist and art editor, she later moved on to web design and e-commerce database building. Unhappy in the world of IT, she retrained as a solution-focused hypnotherapist in 2007.   Here she found that helping others sat well with her own value system. Having suffered from so many phobias over the years and conquering them during her training, it was a simple decision to help others overcome their limitations.   Later, she added nutritional therapy, as the connection between body and mind is vital in maintaining a positive mindset.   She has developed a reputation for helping those with fear of driving and in 2020 she published her book “Driving me crazy - overcome the fear of driving”. She has been a regular guest on BBC local radio and relevant podcasts talking about how your general stress affects fears and phobias, and a contributor to Happiful magazine and other nationals.   Her second specialty is to help those with phagophobia, a fear of swallowing, which also incorporates gagging and losing one’s ability to speak when addressing an audience. This has led her to a worldwide client base with a wide range of people, from one with brain damage because of a stroke, to top execs needing to perform public speaking duties.   Despite having dyslexia, Penelope recognises that many of us have something which makes us different and that doesn’t have to be a handicap. By finding solutions to these problems, we can overcome them. Integrating Western Clinical Science, Eastern Healing Traditions, Regenerative Approaches, and Timeless Ancient Wisdom: An Exclusive Interview with Dr. Juliette Astor Integrating Western Clinical Science, Eastern Healing Traditions, Regenerative Approaches, and Timeless Ancient Wisdom: An Exclusive Interview with Dr. Juliette Astor Dr. Juliette Astor's path to medicine began early - an academic upbringing and an almost magnetic pull toward the brain and the mysteries of the mind led her to major in biology before pursuing medical school. She went on to serve as the sole physician for a rural town of 5,000 people, an experience that forged the resilience and resourcefulness she still draws on today. She later relocated to the United States, rebuilding her medical career from the ground up before completing a rigorous general surgery residency in New York City and a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. It was in Florida, working alongside a holistic medicine physician and discovering the science of epigenetics, that Dr. Astor's philosophy of medicine began to expand - from treating disease to treating the whole person. That conviction became the foundation for The Terra Wellness, her integrative practice combining conventional medicine with regenerative, functional, and energetic approaches to healing. Today, Dr. Astor practices as both physician and guide, helping patients reconnect with their bodies, their sense of purpose, and — as her practice's name suggests — the grounding wisdom of the earth itself. • Graham John Morgan, Performance Mentor, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Graham Morgan is a serial innovator and transformative figure in the realms of football, education, and performance. With a career spanning over five decades, Graham has consistently challenged convention and inspired progress through groundbreaking sports marketing at both grassroots and global levels. His journey began in 1970 as an England Schoolboys U18 international, where a promising football career was unexpectedly halted due to a misdiagnosed injury. Undeterred, Graham pivoted toward a new path in sport and education, joining Borough Road College under the mentorship of the legendary Charles Lipton. From 1974, Graham dedicated nine years to teaching physical education in Norwich schools, during which he earned his FA Full Badge and became the youngest ever FA Staff Coach at the age of 24. By 27, he was appointed coach of the England Schools U18 team (ESFA), further cementing his status as a rising force in coaching. Graham later founded the Association of Football Coaches and Teachers (AFCAT), which in effect was regarded as the English Football Coaches Association. Graham’s pioneering spirit came to the fore during his tenure in Bradford, where he served as the UK’s first Football Development Officer. His commitment to community sport was recognised in 1989 when England Manager Sir Bobby Robson presented him with an FA award for excellence in grassroots football. In 1989 Graham joined adidas, where he spent a decade crafting visionary grassroots programmes. Notably, he helped launch the now-iconic Predator boot through innovative campaigns that included signing a then-unknown David Beckham and The Schools Football initiative which raised over £1million for schools. As adidas’ Head of Global Grassroots Football, he expanded these programmes to 68 countries and introduced grassroots football to a global stage at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in Paris. The adidas Football Parc attracted 1.3 million visitors—an unprecedented achievement that earned Graham a prestigious adidas Golden Shoe for his contributions to promoting the Predator.. In 2007, Graham turned his focus to health and social change, founding Evolve: Social Impact Company, with John Bishop. This multi-award-winning social enterprise is dedicated to mentoring disadvantaged children and improving their performance in schools. Through Evolve, they have impacted thousands of young lives across the UK, combining sport, wellness, and mentoring to create meaningful outcomes. In 2018 Graham became the first student to graduate with the new MSc Degree in Health Mentoring - aged 66. Never one to rest on his laurels, Graham is now embarking on an exciting new collaboration with renowned neuroscientist Dr. Michael Merzenich. Together, they are developing Footballing Brains, a cutting-edge initiative poised to revolutionise how footballers, coaches, and referees think, train, and perform—blending neuroscience and sport in an entirely new way. • Soul Symbol, Astrology, Numerology & Art Integration, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Most people have experienced a reading, a guidance session, or a moment of clarity that felt essential. A few weeks later, it's gone. Not because it wasn't true. Because insight without an anchor doesn't stick. Verena Franzetti and Tom Goguet (Atmos) built Soul Symbol to solve exactly that. Verena brings over a decade of self-directed study in astrology, sharpened by targeted training and ten years of professional practice in graphic design and visual identity. That combination gives her something specific: the ability to sense when a symbol has found its right form. Tom's work is rooted in sacred geometry and numerology, developed over more than ten years of self-taught practice. His starting point was a simple observation: people were consistently drawn to certain works almost despite themselves, and their numerology matched the numbers at the core of the composition. Together, they turn a session into an object. Each Soul Symbol is an original hand-painted artwork, built from the client's astrological chart and numerological profile. It stays on a wall, in daily view, continuing to work where the session ended. Quarterly follow-up calls over a year keep the process alive, going deeper as life evolves. Soul Symbol is for people ready to be seen, in their strengths and their blind spots, and committed to a process that unfolds over time. No prior knowledge of astrology needed. Just a genuine willingness to look. Every symbol is unique. No AI. No template. Only human. • Carol Aravena, Metaphysical Practitioner, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Carol has been a practicing intuitive energy practitioner for over 25 years. She is certified in a range of modalities including Neuro Transformation Therapy, Timeline Therapy, Superconscious Recode, Bioenergetics, Spiritual Life Coaching, Reiki Master/Teacher, NLP, Arcturian Healing, Colour Therapy, and holds a Batchelor’s degree in Metaphysical Sciences.   Her passion is empowering others, especially female empaths, to reclaim the perfection of their authentic Divine Self.   With Soulful intuitive insight, her sessions reveal what is blocking you from a life free of anxiety, overwhelm, and self-sabotage.   Her services are focused on revealing the distortions within your energetic signature. These distortions are caused by perceptions created from life experiences, beliefs, values, and family/religious/social indoctrination. Imbalanced fear-driven perceptions create an imbalanced fear-driven outlook on life, manifesting as disharmony within body, mind, and spirit. Once these corrupt files are re-coded, clients can access their Soul’s power, passion, and purpose, unlocking the untapped potential.   “I was easily affected by my surroundings and would struggle to maintain my sense of self. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I discovered I was an ‘empath’. Knowing this, I could finally make sense of who I was and began my self-healing journey. I started to delve deeply into the world of metaphysics and the human energy field. I realized how powerless I had been all my life and was determined to embody my true power and balance. And so began my studies, each modality adding to my toolbox of energy maintenance and Self-love. I believe we are all created from the same blueprint of perfection. With empathic intuition, I can locate the root cause of disharmony. You are then able to experience life from a much more balanced perspective, which opens the door for a happier, healthier, and wealthier you”.   Whether you seek relief from physical ailments, emotional disharmony, or a deeper connection to your spiritual self, transformative energy sessions are tailored to your unique needs. With a deep understanding of metaphysical and energetic principles and laws, Carol offers the opportunity to create synergy within the realms of body, mind, and spirit. She provides a holistic approach to well-being that transcends the ordinary.
