Marline knows what it takes to cultivate a successful leadership career despite the countless obstacles faced while on that quest to grow and improve. She wants to share her story and give people tips on how to effectively present and succeed in the workplace, how to use mentorship as a way to give back, and how to cultivate an environment that fosters authentic capacity by embracing one's team and empowering them to be their best. Marline serves as a fertility coach. She knows how it feels when you're trying to conceive and it seems like nothing is going your way, like most things in life. Not only do they actively engage in the sessions, they leave with a renewed sense of empowerment, feeling they belong, and with the ability to embrace what makes them each unique. Keeping in line with the Christian teachings of offering time, talent, and treasure, Marline volunteers in a multitude of capacities. Marline proudly serves as the Chairperson for the Finance Committee at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She also served as a former CCD (religious education) instructor for the church in an effort to give back to the faith community and enrich the younger generation. As the Treasurer for her local Home Owners’ Association, she volunteers her time to ensure the residential community functions well to meet the needs of her fellow homeowners. Furthermore, Marline is a Board member and serves as the Chief Financial Officer with the non-profit organization, Filling Empty Wombs, Inc, to further assist, bring awareness, and advocate for the fertility community that are too often voiceless. - Apinder Sidhu, Intuitive Coach and Healer, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
I knew from a young age that my life was always going to centre around helping and supporting others, which has been further highlighted in my career and pathway choices, through years of learning and training, as an employee and now as a Coach and Healer. I grew up in a large family where I looked after my young siblings and was a carer from a young age, helping my parents whilst they were at work. When I reached an age to decide on a vocation and career, I chose teaching, especially as I had a love for my subject area of History. I always believed, and still do, that learning about our past can help us make better choices for our future, both collectively as humans and as individuals. Learning about my heritage and about the world shaped how I felt about my environment and what I could do to help others. My faith as a Sikh is about being of service to others but ensuring I stay true to myself, values I hold very dear and underpin my life and healing practice. In 1999 I was first introduced to delivering sessions on motivation and confidence building, which was an early framework of coaching. However, the importance of coaching and self-development was not fully recognised as it is today, therefore I didn’t initially pursue this avenue as a career although it felt very familiar and authentic to me. Then in 2013, I was once again drawn to coaching and decided to pursue formal training. The realisation of what a difference coaching can make to an individual’s life when they engage in a coaching session, was very profound. When my client took steps to work towards eliminating their limiting beliefs and realising their potential, it is such a joy to witness how their perspective aboout their life changed completely and they raised their awareness on their self evolution. As my coaching journey progressed, I came to realise and understand that the individuals I was working with and attracting to my business were holding pain, trauma and often a negative belief system. At this time, alongside my professional coaching I embarked further on my own journey, connecting into my spiritual work. At first I did not realise that in the future these two areas of my life would become greatly intertwined. Initially when I trained to become an Akashic Records reader and Healer, I kept the two sides of my work very separate. However, slowly my intuition guided me to help support my clients in the various areas of their lives by combining traditional coaching techniques and models such as goal setting but to include practices such as visualisation, meditation, releasing and manifesting. This holistic combination has worked well towards healing and awakening my clients’ desire to let go of experiences, thoughts, emotions and beliefs that no longer serve them and then to move forward by engaging in making changes so that they could embrace the opportunity to living their most purposeful life. Authenticity, transformation, acceptance and being purposeful are all important elements of my practice, but ultimately my work is about holistically and energetically supporting the healing process of the person I am working with, which can take various forms from talking, meditating, laughing and crying - all with large doses of compassion, kindness and love. - Ryan Anthony King, Learning & Development Leader, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Ryan Anthony King: Innovating Learning & Leadership Creativity has driven Ryan Anthony King’s journey, fueling his passion for innovation, problem-solving, and leadership development. Growing up in New York City and immersed in the performing arts, he developed a love for producing and directing, which later translated into teaching and mentoring future leaders. While creativity came naturally, traditional learning was a challenge. As an introvert, Ryan struggled in school but found his passion through hands-on experience. He began studying music education at the University of Texas in San Antonio but took time off for self-discovery. This led him to early childhood education, where he realized the power of customized, exploratory learning in fostering a love for knowledge. His methodology helped young students excel in reading, math, and social skills. In 2012, Ryan founded Monday Night Connect, an online ministry supporting marginalized communities seeking spiritual and personal growth. This evolved into the Faith Community Foundation, which empowered future leaders through professional development, remote workforce solutions, and community engagement—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan’s career path led him back to school to study Human Resources and Business Management. He thrived in start-up environments, building training programs from the ground up. In Dallas, he helped staff teachers for the Independent School District before leading training and leadership initiatives at Trinity Event Staffing. His operations, compliance, and team development expertise strengthened Trinity’s HR and L&D functions. At Amazon (Prime Now), Ryan was key in helping to onboard 400 Whole Foods stores in 2017, leveraging data-driven insights through Salesforce and Tableau. After moving to California in 2018, he helped launch Amazon Go stores, implementing innovative learning and operational solutions. His passion for change management and process improvement led him to mission-driven work with San Francisco Goodwill and Walmart e-commerce, where he specialized in compliance, collaboration, and organizational growth. A published compliance author for Wells Fargo, Ryan also created Lead to Succeed, a leadership development program. As an expert in system migrations, he has supported transitions at Amazon, First Republic Bank, and StoragePRO Management. In 2024, he built a dynamic learning culture at StoragePRO, integrating operational, technological, and growth-focused training solutions. With Six Sigma training from Google, Ryan continues to revolutionize learning and development, drive work-life balance initiatives, and shape the leaders of tomorrow.
