With over 40 years of experience as both an art dealer and curator, I have developed private and corporate collections and produced exhibitions for commercial galleries, museums, and other nonprofits.

In the recent decade, I have organized traveling exhibitions both here and abroad, past exhibition projects included Painting in Parts, Maryland Art Place, Baltimore, MD Sept-Oct, 2011, and Sanford Biggers, Sweet Funk — An Introspective, The Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, NY Sept 2011- Jan 2012 and Aspects of a New Kind of Realism, Arthur Roger Gallery, New Orleans, LA Jan-Feb, 2012 and CITY LIVES for the new Shirley Fitterman Art Center in lower Manhattan In 2015 he was made consulting curator for the latest X Contemporary Art Fair, Miami and organized Grace Hartigan, 1960-65, The Perry Collection the exhibition then travelled to the Mennello Museum in Orlando, Florida. For the 2016 edition of the fair organized The Women Who Made Made Modern Art Modern a look at the careers and artists of 10 important art dealers in the 40s;50s and 60s including Terry Dintenfass, Martha Jackson, and Eleanor Ward. The catalogue essay is now being developed into a book for 5 Continent Editions, Milan. In 2017, Klein became manager of the Jene Highstein Estate.

Among his duties is the development of new exhibitions and publications drawn from a body of diverse body of post-minimal sculpture that includes works in wood, stone, and bronze, along with numerous installations created over a six-decade career.

He is developing two traveling exhibitions for the estate: Jene Highstein: the Post Minimal Generation and Working Wood Sculptures planned for 2026 Curated 95 North a group exhibition in the fall of 2021 for the inaugural show of Private Public Gallery in Hudson, New York.
