What if your body wasn’t breaking down, but breaking open? In this deeply personal and poetic reflection, Valentina Mazzei shares how a sore throat, a message from beyond, and a soul-level purge led her to a profound awakening. Through meditation, spiritual visitation, and emotional unraveling, she uncovers the sacred truth encoded in the body. This is a story of remembrance, rebirth, and the invitation to meet your truest self on the other side of transformation.

It started with a sore throat.

Then came the pressure in my shoulders.

My right ear kept popping, like I was tuning into a frequency I couldn’t quite name yet.

I could’ve brushed it off.

Blamed it on the AC. On travel. On stress.

But I’ve walked with energy long enough to know: the body speaks in code.

And this wasn’t an illness.

It was an initiation.

My body wasn’t breaking down. It was breaking open.

When the body becomes the oracle

My throat burned with truths I had finally spoken aloud.

My shoulders ached from the weight of responsibilities I was never meant to carry. And that popping in my right ear?

It wasn’t random.

It was a vibrational recalibration.

Not the intuitive side traditionally associated with receiving, but the side of expression and action, as if life was preparing me to transmit what I had finally remembered.

This wasn’t just insight flowing in. It was power beginning to flow out.

And then, I started sneezing.

A full-body cold emerged,

like my system needed one final purge.

One last exhale to clear the residue of the identity I had just released.

It all began on 7/7,

a day that felt like a portal.

Not because of what I saw online, but because of what my body knew.

Something sacred had been scheduled by my soul. And the appointment had arrived.

The void and the question that dismantled me

In the stillness of my meditation that morning,

I dropped into a space I can only describe as everything and nothing at once.

No body.

No mind. No thoughts.

Only essence.

I asked the only question that felt real:

“Who am I?”

There was no answer.

Because there was no one left to answer it.

Only presence before identity. Infinite love.

Pure consciousness.

And in that emptiness, I asked something deeper:

“Show me my soul contract.”

What I saw wasn’t a document. It was a moment.

A symbolic flash.

A death.

Then, a turning point.

At first, I thought it was his death, my dear friend who passed in February. But as the energy settled, I knew.

It wasn’t his.

It was mine.

Not a physical death,

But the death of the version of me that could no longer walk forward.

This was the moment my old identity fell away.

And something ancient, eternal, and true took its place.

The visitation and the mirror I didn’t expect

Right after that realization, he showed up. Not in memory.

In presence.

My friend, Giuseppe.

I asked, “What happened?” And he smiled.

“Nothing is real,” he said.

“What about you?” I asked.

“Even me. Even the people you love, they are all reflections. You adored me because you saw a part of you.

Now that I’m gone, it’s time to find that part within yourself.”

And in that moment, I understood:

He didn’t come to explain his death. He came to guide me through mine.

A sacred game and the line I crossed

His voice softened.

“Stay focused. Be present. But don’t take it too seriously. This is all a game. A sacred one.”

I remembered,

He whispered the same thing to me in meditation the night he passed:

“Don’t take it too serious.”

But this time, I didn’t just hear it.

I had more tools. I understood. I embodied it.

The game isn’t meaningless. It’s just not what we think it is.

Everything we experience, the fear, the striving, the projection, is created through the meaning we assign.

And when you remember that you’re the one assigning the meaning, you stop being a victim of illusion.

And become the creator within it.

I died that day and began to truly live

Since that moment, something has shifted.

The worry is gone.

The fear dissolved.

The “what if” has quieted.

Because I crossed a line,

The one between performance and presence, between seeking and knowing.

I no longer need to become. I just need to be.

I’ve guided hundreds of women through energetic portals like this,

sacred initiations disguised as symptoms.

But this time,

I was the one walking through the fire.

And the miracle? I didn’t burn.

I remembered.

A love letter to the one awakening

If you’ve been feeling the ache,

the pressure,

the symptoms that make no sense.

If your body is asking you to slow down.

If life feels like it’s pulling you inward, even as everything outside begs for your attention.

You’re not broken. You’re unraveling.

And on the other side of that unraveling is you.

The real you.

The infinite you.

The part that doesn’t live in the illusion, but plays within it with wisdom,

grace,

and power.

So play.

Don’t take it too seriously. But stay present.

Because it’s all here,

the truth, the remembrance, the contract, the miracle, within you.

And if you’re ready to walk through your own portal, my space is open.
