When Private Banking Meets Artistic Brilliance – The Story of Samaher Al-Khusaifan

True talent transcends boundaries. As a private banking mentor, few stories have inspired me as much as that of Miss Samaher Al-Khusaifan, whose journey seamlessly weaves the precision of finance with the beauty of art. While teaching one of my courses on Private Banking - Building Trust in Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), I had the pleasure of discovering Samaher’s exceptional artistic abilities alongside her professional skills.

Today, I want to share her journey, a journey that blends the worlds of private banking and art in a way that is truly inspiring.


As someone who has dedicated years to guiding private bankers, I was immediately impressed by Samaher’s dedication and keen understanding of trust-building within the industry. She has excelled in every role she has undertaken, from Head of Private Banking to her current position leading the Private Banking division in Jeddah, KSA, for Bank Albilad. Her career speaks volumes about her expertise, leadership, and commitment.


However, what I found equally fascinating about Samaher was her profound passion for painting. During our break time sessions, I was fortunate to witness her artistry, which captures the spirit and beauty of the Arabian Peninsula in ways that words cannot. This side of Samaher truly adds depth to her already impressive persona.


One of Samaher's masterpieces that left a lasting impression on me is titled "The Arabian Hero on the Running Camel through the Arabian Peninsula of the Deserts." 


In this painting, she beautifully depicts a lone rider traversing the endless expanse of the desert. Her use of warm hues and flowing brushstrokes creates a sense of movement and evokes the raw, untamed beauty of the Arabian sands. To me, this artwork is not just a painting; it is a poetic journey into the heart of the desert, showcasing the endurance, strength, and spirit of Arabian culture.


Samaher's ability to bring to life the age-old connection between humans and camels through her art is remarkable. Each brushstroke narrates the rich tapestry of desert life, blending history with emotive artistry. I have seen this same level of detail and passion in her approach to private banking, a blend of precision and creativity that makes her stand out in both worlds.


A versatile talent beyond banking


Samaher’s professional achievements are as impressive as her art. Armed with a master’s degree in business administration, she has held pivotal roles in the banking sector, including Head of Private Banking and many more. Today, she successfully leads advising High-Net-worth individuals (HNWI) at Bank Albilad in Jeddah, KSA. I have watched her grow into this role, using her skills to build strong relationships and trust with clients.


But Samaher’s talents don't stop at banking. She is a multifaceted individual with skills ranging from interior and fashion design to photography and 3D modeling. Her Instagram profile, showcases a collection of her artworks, giving us a glimpse into her creative world. Her dedication to learning and her willingness to explore different fields inspire me as a mentor and as a professional.


Samaher’s journey is a powerful reminder that analytical acumen and artistic creativity are not opposing forces but complementary strengths. As her mentor, I am honored to have witnessed her evolution, and I eagerly anticipate her upcoming 2025 art collection, an embodiment of Arabian heritage infused with modern elegance.
