Core false beliefs. My new book, What If You’re Not As F***ed Up As You Think You Are? has just been published and I have been making preparations, recording the audiobook, giving lectures and talks, and speaking to the press. I was recently asked about the main themes of the book, and it inspired an amazing conversation. I would like you to have this vital information, and be able to share it with anyone else who is seeking this as well.

I was asked the following questions…

What is the number one core false belief that you see limiting people?

What is the core false belief we have that if we would change it would create a better world?

What really holds us back from the success we desire?

My response:

I have one simple answer to all of these questions. "I'm not enough" is the one core false belief I see the most and the one that if it changed, would transform the whole world because it's rooted in judgment and judgment is the root of all suffering. Once you get clear on the fact that all judgment creates is misery and limitation, then you can stop buying it, making it real, and being impacted by it.

This is why I use the term core false belief (coined by my good friend and colleague, TJ Woodward, author of the Conscious Being, Conscious Recovery, and Conscious Creation book series) when discussing this issue, because the judgment-based beliefs we come to adopt about ourselves are fundamentally false. A child does not come into the world broken and “not enough.” It’s something that we learn in life from a young age, through the influence of those around us, and often through painful or traumatic events. (To find out more about core false beliefs and how they develop, check out my Brainz article here.)

When you come to acknowledge that something is just a judgment, or point of view, you can finally change it. That is when the powerful tools of energy psychology, Access Consciousness®, and other more holistic, energy-based modalities come into play. With these indispensable techniques we can actually change the underlying energy of the beliefs as well as the need to function from these points of view at all.

I find in my work with people around the world that if we consistently employ these modalities we can actually permanently eliminate these pernicious beliefs. People can begin to create their lives, bodies, businesses, and relationships without them, which offers a totally different universe of possibilities.

In my book, I also explore other common core false beliefs and provide pragmatic and powerful exercises and tools to change them. It’s truly exciting to be sharing these keys to freedom with the world and the feedback from readers so far has been so uplifting!

“There is something so powerful about recognizing that we have been limiting ourselves with our judgments and core false beliefs. True freedom lies in seeing this for what it is and letting it go. In this fascinating book, Dr. Adriana Popescu gives you not only the awareness but the brilliant tools, techniques and exercises to change it. Make sure to read this book” said Jack Canfield, coauthor of the Success Principles™ and the Chicken Soup for the Soul® series.

What would it be like for you to have a life without judgment?
