Welcome to Virgo season. First, I would like to extend my apologies for not getting this planet's season newsletter in sooner. I must admit, I just decided to spend this fall talking about the planets and how to use them in our daily lives. I’ve been studying astrology for three years, and in the last year, I’ve been working on incorporating the energy into my daily life. I have found great success living a more rhythmic life. As a self-development coach, I feel that the planets have a place and an impact on our lives. I’m looking forward to this season's newsletter. Don’t forget to read my summer series. Hiking For Beginners.

All about Virgo

Virgo. August 23- September 22. Virgo and Capricorn are often mistaken for each other. They have the same goals, yet Virgo is more of a personal sign. Virgo wants you to look at your life in a very personal way. It wants you to book doctor appointments and have uncomfortable conversations. It wants you to see where you are standing. Physically, mentally and spiritually. If you don’t have a regular fitness routine, Virgo will bring attention to that area of your life. If you are on a health routine, Virgo will also have you looking more deeply into your relationship with your routine. It's the same with how you organize your day. Capricorn wants to set goals and look for the long-term goal. Virgo looks at how you're spending your hours. Are you watching too much TV? Are you scrolling through social media too much? This season can be a struggle for almost all of us. We can embrace Virgo's challenging energy and use this season to create great success.

How I manage Virgos challenging season

I find this season to be one of the best zodiac signs to use in my three simple steps to success. Naturally, this is the season where we're getting back to routine. It really does seem perfect to have such a personal sign after the end of summer. I have always been big into routine and structure. And I always find myself coming into Virgo season looking into my day-to-day life a little harder than usual. Aspects from. How do I work out, and what do I want from it? How do I spend the hours in my day? Am I feeling busy or productive? I know we all want to be better at our routine. And learn how to create more balance in our lives. I use a system called Three Simple Steps To Success. I want to help manage my busy mind, create a routine, and stay committed.

3 simple steps to success

  • Step 1. Write it down

  • Step 2. Schedule a sit-down

  • Step 3. Plan of action

Virgo's New moon happened on September 2, 2024. Falling in under Scorpio's watery, deep energy. We were all in for a rather emotional and quiet start to our week. Landing on the holiday weekend, we could have felt excited or emotional, fitting since we are saying goodbye to summer, and that means saying goodbye to our friends and family. The New moon, for any sign, offers a refresh. Realign to what we feel is right for us at that moment. New moons & Full moons happen once a month.

The New Moon gives us a chance to re-write our goals and desires. Capricorn and Virgo can get confused due to their work ethic, love of structure, and organization. The big difference is Virgo is personal and malicious. It aims for perfection and nothing else. Those born under Virgo are often known to be a little rude, and hard to please. You could find yourself feeling overwhelmed during this time because of its perfectionist energy. As a woman with ADHD, I’ve really had to learn how to work with this energy.

Using the steps

1. Write it down

If you are a person who likes to keep a journal, the first step might be easy. If you aren't used to writing. Using short bullet form helps you get started. Often we just need a question to get us started. We can use Virgo energy to get a better understanding of what we need and how to come about it due to its personal nature.

A few questions I ask myself that are short of great for bullet points

  • What do I want more of?

  • What do I want less of?

  • How do I take my more and move forward with it? ( question to build your second step to success)

Long-form questions

  • How am I Emotionally

  • How am I Physically

  • How am I Mentally

  • How am I Creatively

  • How am I Spiritually

  • How am I intellectually

  • What are my Joys?

2. Schedule a sit-down

Virgo is malicious. It just wants everything to be perfect. This makes conversations rather difficult (watch out for Mercury Retrograde through Virgo; this can also be a challenging time for communication). Scheduling a sit down allows us to come to our items with a clear mind. Some of the top uncomfortable topics are. Sex, Money, Family, Health. (this can also be extended to kids' pets) Religion/Faith. If you live by yourself or struggle with being honest about where you sit with yourself, ask a trusted friend or family to support you through this step. A therapist would be a great idea, especially during the Virgo season.

3. Plan of action

Step 3 is the hardest part. There can be a lot of different factors that can distract you from your plan. Virgo wants you to succeed. With its perfectionist vibe and hard work ethic. Unlike Leo's season in August, Leo wants you to play and be a child. Be off schedule and always seek play. Virgo wants you to commit, It's malicious and pays a lot of attention to detail. I find it quite hard to not want to pay attention to detail during this season.

4 things to remember during the Virgo season

  1. Perfection

  2. Intelligence

  3. Serve and be useful

  4. Health

I hope these steps support you through this time. Join me next season, Libra.
