Tapping For National And World Peace In The Face Of Tragedies

Let’s start with some tips to bring about happiness!


Always celebrate yourself in everything you do! Even the small stuff. In fact, right now, give yourself a pat or two or three on your back, for connecting with me today, and say, great job, (insert your name). Don’t you feel better now?!


Another tip. Did you know there are alarm clocks with the sound of applause. Picture it! You wake up to the sound of applause, every morning, when your alarm goes off, instead of a buzzer or music. Wouldn’t that be great?!

My tagline, since I began my business, has been, EFT Tapping is an answer to a prayer. Now I am adding the Bible verse, “a merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Because I feel as if I’ve experienced both these, these past months and am on an upswing to a merry, joyful, happy, peaceful, and forgiving heart. Another scripture that states, “out of the heart are the issues of life.” So, if your heart is full of all those things, imagine how wonderful your life would be and how high vibing you would be too?!


Have you heard that laughter is good for your soul? It is! Joy is at the top of the emotional scale along with, appreciation/ empowerment/ freedom/ and love. When you are at the top of the emotional scale your vibration is high and you attract the good stuff, you want. And all good things come from God, right? So, think of the best day you ever had. How did you feel? Remember that feeling as often as you can because that feeling is what will help change your bad or sad or indifferent mood.


I’m going to share another energy medicine Tapping tip to help create, in you, a steady state of happiness. While you are thinking of that best day or event or food that brings you a lot of joy; and really feel it throughout your body. Tap with 2 or 3 fingers on the spot between your eyebrows for about 30 seconds. Do this 2-3 times per day several times per week and see if your levels of happiness or upbeatness increase.


Today I want to tap on uplifting our moods from the tragedies of this past week and of this year. Currently, there are approximately 53 wars and or conflicts around the world and I want to bring some sense of peace and happiness to everyone by tapping on these negative things and tap in some positive uplifting emotions.


These national and global tragedies bring up so many emotions in people. Shock, disbelief, anger, sadness, depression, helplessness, revenge, frustration, immobility of thought and action, unforgiveness, restlessness, anxiety, worry, suicidal ideations, feelings of unsafety, fear, and many more I cannot think of at this moment in time.


It's sad that we live in a time where there is so much fear and it’s probably always been there on a global scale, but the covid-19 pandemic of 2019 brought it to the surface in such a way that these emotions could no longer be ignored because it was severely impacting every area of society and it changed the face and way mental health is seen and dealt with.


It is when we acknowledge, accept, release, and move forward can we progress as a person and as a society on a whole. And my little part in this grand scheme of things is to share about the power of EFT tapping to help people, children, and pets release their upset. Yes, this works on pets too!


So, as we tap today, think about something, whether it is the recent national tragedies or the ongoing global wars and conflicts as we tap, to see if you can release or ease those associated negative emotions.

Let’s learn about EFT tapping.


EFT tapping is a combination of acupressure and talks therapy where you tap with your fingers on the meridian energy system that runs through your body. It’s the same energy system that acupuncturists place their needles and have been doing so for centuries. EFT tapping helps calm the ancient part of the brain called the amygdala, which is the seat of the fight, flight, or freeze response.


It’s been shown that in less than an hour of EFT tapping, you can reduce cortisol, the stress hormone and affect gene expression.


What is your intensity level on the emotion you are feeling at the recent tragedies, etc. At this moment from 0 to 10 with 10 being high and 0 being non-existent? Gauging this number is a good idea so you can see how you responded to the EFT tapping round.


When thinking about a current negative emotional incident, what is your intensity level from 0 to 10, with 10 being high and zero being non-existent? Choose something that is at a level 5 or 4. I’m going to use the emotion, helplessness.


Buckle up! Here we go! Let’s tap!

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this helplessness because of the recent national tragedy…I deeply approve and accept myself

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this helplessness because we have lost so many irreplaceable people…I deeply approve and accept myself

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this helplessness because I can’t wrap my mind around what has been happening globally with approximately 53 countries in war or conflicts… I deeply approve and accept myself.

  • Top of head. This helplessness

  • Eyebrow. This helplessness I feel in my body

  • Side of eye. This helplessness

  • Under the eye. This helplessness I feel in my emotions

  • Under the nose. This helplessness

  • Under the lip. This helplessness I feel in my mind about this recent tragedy

  • Collar bone. This helplessness

  • Under the arm. How do we move forward as a community?

  • Tap the inner wrists together. How do I move forward?

  • Tap the back of wrists together. Things will never be the same!

  • Take a deep breath.

How do you feel? What came up for you? Did another emotion appear? Do you have the same emotion, but now you feel it somewhere else? What is the intensity level now?


These are the probing detective like questions the EFT tapping practitioner will ask you. And you continue tapping.


That’s a traditional EFT tapping round. Normally you would then continue until the intensity of the feeling or emotion is down to a zero. Normally you wouldn’t tap in positive stuff until the negative stuff is at a 1 or zero.


Let’s do another round.

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this frustration because the ongoing global wars…I am still okay

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this frustration because the recent national tragedies…I am still okay

  • Side of the hand. Even though I feel this frustration because I have lost a loved one during this recent national tragedy…I am still okay

  • Top of head. This frustration

  • Eyebrow. This frustration I feel all over

  • Side of eye. This frustration

  • Under the eye. This frustration I feel in my thoughts

  • Under the nose. This frustration

  • Under the lip. This frustration I feel in my heart about this recent tragedy

  • Collar bone. This frustration

  • Under the arm. I just do not know how to move forward

  • Tap the inner wrists together. Now what do I do?

  • Tap the back of wrists together. How do I contribute to the uplifting of this nation, this world?

  • Take a deep breath.

How do you feel? What came up for you? Did another emotion appear? Do you have the same emotion, but now you feel it somewhere else? What is the intensity level now?


Let’s tap and breath in positive emotions and breath out negative emotions. No words. Just follow along. Tap 5 to 7 times on each point.

  • Side of the hand. Breath in forgiveness, breath out unforgiveness

  • Top of head. Breath in peace, breath out chaos

  • Eyebrow. Breath in calm, breath out anxiety

  • Side of eye. Breath in relaxation, breath out restlessness

  • Under the eye. Breath in health, breath out illness and disease

  • Under the nose. Breath in love, breath out hate

  • Under the lip. Breath in joy, breath out sadness

  • Collar bone. Breath in emotional health, breath out toxic health

  • Under the arm. Breath in calm, breath out angst

  • Tap inner wrists together. Breath in kindness, breath out meanness

  • Tap back of wrists together. Breath in forgiveness for yourself and others, breath out unforgiveness for yourself and others.

Gamut point. Breath in feeling safe in my environment and body, breath out feeling unsafe.


How was that? Are you feeling more uplifted?


Sometimes you are feeling so emotional that you can’t talk or think straight. In that case, just tap and breath through the rounds without saying a word. Just feel the emotions as you tap until you feel a shift or a calmness.


Hey! Here’s a did you know moment. Why is the sky blue? According to, the website, NASA Space Place – NASA Science for Kids, “sunlight reaches earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.” Isn’t that an interesting fact to know? I thought so.
