Catherine Crestani, Inner Authority Guide, Writer and Speaker

Who is Catherine Crestani?

Catherine Crestani is an Inner Authority Guide, author, speaker and podcaster who empowers individuals to reconnect with their inner wisdom and lead themselves with clarity, confidence and trust.

Her work today sits at the intersection of psychology, spirituality and conscious leadership, shaped by nearly two decades in allied health, where she specialised in paediatrics and worked closely with families navigating the complexities of modern life. Early in her career, Catherine co-ran a seven-figure partnership before choosing to step away from that business and later building her own six-figure practice from the ground up.

Over time, she began to notice a deeper pattern emerging both within herself and in the parents she worked with, particularly mothers. Many were exhausted, overwhelmed and disconnected from their own needs. They found it difficult to say yes to their own dreams, often placing themselves last while guilt, time pressures and feelings of unworthiness kept them from pursuing what truly lit them up.

Although her business was successful, Catherine eventually recognised that the work she had built was no longer aligned with what mattered most to her. After nearly two decades in allied health, she made the courageous decision to sell her company and close that chapter of her life.

What followed was a profound period of personal transformation. After selling the business, Catherine realised she had to rebuild her belief in herself and redefine her relationship with worthiness and wealth learning that she did not need to prove her value through constant hard work in order to receive abundance.

Today, through Willow Healing, Catherine empowers clients to reconnect with their inner authority the deep, inner knowing that guides them toward making aligned decisions and creating meaningful lives. Her work sits at the intersection of spirituality and psychology, supporting emotional and energetic transformation while translating spiritual insight into grounded, real-world embodiment.

Through speaking, writing and client work, Catherine invites people to trust themselves again and lead their lives from a place of inner wisdom rather than external expectation.

What inspired Catherine to start Willow Healing, and how does it reflect her mission?

Willow Healing has been an evolution rather than something created overnight. The name itself was inspired by my love of willow trees, Grandmother Willow, and the natural environment where I live.

For me, the willow symbolises strength, flexibility and a deep connection to the earth. It represents the importance of remembering our relationship with nature and honouring the grounding it offers us. Nature has a powerful way of bringing us back to ourselves, and that philosophy sits at the heart of Willow Healing.

As I moved through my own journey of transformation, I began reclaiming intuitive gifts that now allow me to guide others in reconnecting with the most important person in their lives — themselves.

My mission is to create a space for transformation where people feel truly seen and valued for their uniqueness. Through Willow Healing, I bring together the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of personal development so individuals can recognise the power, wisdom and purpose they carry within.

What has emerged through this work is not just a practice, but an evolving body of teachings that invite people to reconnect with their inner authority and remember who they truly are.

At this stage of my work, I feel particularly drawn to empowering mothers to reconnect with themselves. When mothers rediscover their own voice, dreams and inner authority, it naturally deepens their connection with their children and those around them.

I truly believe that when we allow ourselves to shine our own light, we give others permission to share theirs as well.

What sets Willow Healing apart from other healing practices, and why do clients choose you?

What sets my work apart is that it is not about fixing people or positioning me as the one with the answers.

Instead, my role is to empower individuals to reconnect with their inner authority the deep inner knowing that already exists within them.

My background in allied health, combined with my work in spirituality and consciousness, allows me to bridge two worlds that are often kept separate. I understand the emotional and psychological aspects of transformation, while also recognising the energetic and intuitive layers that influence how people experience their lives.

Many of the people who come to me are highly capable individuals who have spent years showing up for others in their families, careers and communities yet feel disconnected from their own desires and direction.

Rather than giving people a formula to follow, I guide them through a process of remembering who they are, trusting their inner wisdom and creating change that feels aligned and sustainable in the real world.

Ultimately, clients choose this work because they are ready to stop searching outside themselves for answers and start trusting the guidance that already exists within them.

What do you think is the most transformative aspect of your work with clients?

The most transformative moment in my work with clients is when they realise they no longer need to look outside themselves for permission, validation or direction.

Many of the individuals I work with are capable, thoughtful and deeply caring people who have spent years showing up for everyone else their families, careers and communities. Over time, that can lead to a quiet disconnection from their own voice, their own desires and the inner guidance that once felt natural.

When someone reconnects with their inner authority, something shifts. They begin trusting themselves again. Decisions that once felt confusing suddenly become clearer, and the dreams they once placed on hold start to feel possible.

Often, that shift begins with something very simple a small but powerful commitment to themselves. A decision to honour what they feel called toward rather than continually placing their own desires at the bottom of their lives.

What I witness most often is people remembering who they were before the world told them who they should be.

From that place, change happens naturally. People start creating businesses they once thought were impossible, writing the book they kept putting off, making decisions that honour their wellbeing, or simply feeling more present and connected in their relationships.

To me, the most powerful transformation isn’t that someone changes who they are it’s that they finally feel safe enough to be who they have always been.

What advice would you give to someone hesitant about taking the first step in their healing journey?

Start by giving yourself permission to be curious.

Many people hesitate because they believe they need to have everything figured out before beginning a journey of healing or self-discovery. In reality, transformation rarely begins with certainty it begins with a quiet awareness that something within you is ready for change.

Often, the smallest step can be the most powerful. A moment of reflection, exploring an idea that excites you, or simply acknowledging a dream you have been placing to the side.

It is also important to surround yourself with people who allow you to explore that curiosity safely. The right people in your life will not question your desire to grow they will encourage it. When we are supported by those who celebrate our evolution, it becomes much easier to trust our inner voice.

You don’t need all the answers to begin. You simply need the willingness to listen to yourself and honour what you discover along the way.

For those who feel ready to explore that deeper connection with themselves, I share more of this work through my writing, speaking and Inner Authority sessions at Willow Healing. My intention is always the same to empower people to trust themselves again and lead their lives from their own inner wisdom.

Because ultimately, the journey isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you have always been.
