Purpose is important for an individual to know what he or she is destined to become and or even do. There are people who know their purpose, but there are many who don’t know their purpose in life. I believe that through prayer, seeking God, and even paying attention to the signs around you, you will find your purpose and be able to pursue it on purpose. Once you accept and embrace your purpose, whether it’s to be a lawyer, basketball player, writer, author, pastor, CEO of a company, etc., go after it unapologetically.

Define:

  1. Pursue - To strive to gain; seek to attain or accomplish.

  2. Passion - Strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything

  3. Purpose - the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.

There is something, or some things, that God has created you to accomplish, pursue, and succeed in, so that you can make a positive impact and cause a good effect in the lives of specific person(s). Don’t allow fear to control or rule you from going after a goal(s) in life.

Don’t allow negative people to stop you from doing what you are passionate about doing. Just do it. You have the right to pursue your passion on purpose, period. Be and stay positive about your passion on purpose. Be persistent and don’t stop. Don’t allow anybody, not even yourself, to talk yourself out of pursuing your passion. Don’t give up, give in, or back out from pursuing your passion on purpose. Your passion will make a positive and effective difference in the lives of the right and necessary people. Believe in yourself, and your passion will make a purpose out of you.

You must make up your mind today that you’re going to pursue your passion on purpose, not making excuses, but exercising your God-given right to go after what belongs to you. Use your God-given gift to make a profound impact. Pursue it with determination and diligence, and you will see a difference and make a positive impact on the lives of people.
