Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

Born in a small village in Lebanon in 1978, my artistic journey began in my father’s studio, which ignited my passion for video directing and managing people, especially in front of the camera. This early exposure shaped my ability to understand and influence others, driving me to create standout work that earns recognition.

After graduating from Notre Dame University of Beirut with a degree in mass communication, I launched my career in 1999 and have since made substantial contributions to business development, strategy, and marketing across over 70 countries. My innovative efforts have garnered awards and even set a Guinness record for a government project.

Through my books and speaking engagements, I distill decades of experience into actionable insights for account managers and directors, guiding them through the advertising industry's complexities. Currently, I am developing a series of specialized pocketbooks to further share my expertise and leadership in marketing. This work helps build strong, impactful relationships with both my clients and my team, continuing to influence the professional community.

What inspired you to start your journey as a success coach and motivational speaker?

My journey as a success coach and motivational speaker began after over 25 years of collaborating with a diverse range of individuals from various nationalities and backgrounds. This extensive experience has sharpened my ability to understand and often anticipate the needs of others, a skill that is integral to every project I manage.

I’ve developed a foundational formula for engaging with people and clients based on honesty, assertiveness, and trust. These principles have been crucial in my role as the CEO of an SME, where in the beginning I used to oversee all facets of the business, from sales and marketing to execution and accounting. Leading a large team and successfully managing numerous projects have honed my abilities further, driving me to offer selective coaching. I assist others in effectively navigating complex interpersonal situations and client interactions. This combination of practical experience and strategic acumen is what energizes my coaching and speaking career.

How do you help individuals identify and achieve their personal or professional goals?

When helping individuals identify and achieve their goals, I start by sitting down with them to really understand the challenges they face and their reasons for seeking change. We discuss their goals in detail, and then I help them lay out a clear roadmap with specific steps to achieve these objectives. For instance, in an advertising campaign, I apply a similar method: I conduct briefing sessions with clients to capture their needs and expectations fully. Then, I relay this information through a detailed briefing to my team, ensuring every point is understood clearly before we proceed to execute and deliver the results. This meticulous approach ensures each goal is actionable, whether in personal coaching or professional projects.

What role does mindset play in achieving long-term success, and how do you guide clients in cultivating it?

Mindset is fundamentally crucial for achieving long-term success. In my book, '1001 Ways to Master Client Management,' I emphasize the importance of maintaining a positive outlook. I encourage my clients to focus on positive affirmations, to steer clear of negative thoughts, and to consistently look at the brighter side of any situation. I coach them to view obstacles as challenges rather than problems, which shifts their perspective to see opportunities for learning and growth in every situation. This approach to mindset not only helps my clients effectively navigate through both business and personal challenges but also sets them on a path toward sustained success.

What advice would you give to someone feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward in their life or career?

In moments when someone feels stuck or uncertain about their next steps in life or career, I recommend a few key strategies. First, it’s crucial to focus on the positives. Identify what exactly is holding you back and then actively seek ways to work around these obstacles. It's important to remember that no problem is insurmountable; there is always a way forward.

Additionally, I advise taking moments each day to relax and reflect. Think about the factors that have brought you to your current position. Analyze your daily decisions—what influenced them? This reflection can provide valuable insights and help clarify your next steps. By maintaining a positive outlook and addressing challenges head-on, you can navigate through periods of uncertainty and continue moving forward.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of contributing to both small and large projects, each of which has brought me a sense of pride and accomplishment. However, I truly believe that my greatest career achievement is still on the horizon. Each project teaches me something new and prepares me for bigger challenges ahead. So, I'd say, stay tuned and let's see what the future brings. I'm excited about the possibilities and eager to continue making a significant impact.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

Everyone encounters dark moments in life that test our resilience and shape who we become. One pivotal period in my life really set the foundation for where I am today, and it's actually the inspiration for one of my upcoming books about how life's mistakes have shaped me. During this time, I faced intense pressure that seemed insurmountable. People around me thought I was detached or even on medication because of my unusual positive outlook amidst apparent chaos. They didn't know the depth of what I was really feeling—there were days I wished everything would just end.

However, looking at my three daughters, my silent motivators, I made a promise to myself to overcome each challenge and strive for a sense of stability and safety. It was a combination of prayer, persistence, and a bit of stubbornness that helped me train my brain to see things differently—to see light and opportunity in every challenge. I stopped blaming others for my circumstances and turned that energy into a force to propel myself forward.

I began writing as a way to channel my frustrations and soon realized I was on a mission to teach others not just to cope, but to thrive based on what life teaches us, beyond what we learn in school. Life itself is the greatest teacher, and I'm proud to say that I've learned from my mistakes. Now, I use these lessons to help others rebuild and move forward. This journey has been transformative, and it continues to motivate my work as a coach and author, helping others see that every setback is a setup for a comeback.
