Isabelle Veser has been passionate about making music since childhood. Determined to prove that women can succeed in the male-dominated EDM scene, she began producing, composing, and singing her own tracks in 2022. Her style blends Mainstage, Big Room, and Techno, though she enjoys working across all genres. With discipline and perseverance, she has built a growing career in music. She now helps other artists develop their own sound and navigate the industry.

Isabelle Veser, Music Producer

Who is Isabelle?

Isabelle is a creative, modest, and humorous person who loves making music. During her school years, she formed bands and sang in a choir. She primarily played rock music and never considered doing anything else. Just three years ago, she met a Luxembourg producer who inspired her to produce electronic music. That was her starting point as an EDM producer. When Isabelle isn't producing, she enjoys going to the gym, dancing salsa, or hanging out with her friends. Supporting humanitarian projects is also a priority for her.

What makes a great vocal or topline stand out in a track?

Many people think that you need to show how you can hit all the notes perfectly or that you need to sing the octaves up and down. But for me, it's important to feel the emotions. You can hear that in the intensity and expression of the voice. The best way to create great vocals or toplines is simply to process what you’ve experienced in your life. That’s the best source of inspiration for making great vocals or toplines.

Can you walk us through how you create a full song?

Creating music is something I like to compare with a journey around the world. No one knows how long the journey will take. Sometimes I need one year for a song, sometimes just one night or even one hour. It depends on me. But in the end, everything starts with my keyboard in my apartment. I just compose a melody that comes to mind, without playing from sheet music. When I’m satisfied, I record it in my home studio and start writing lyrics and toplines. After that process, I record everything again and again. My favourite programs that I love to use are Cubase and Ableton Live to produce the perfect final EDM track.

What’s one project you’re most proud of and why?

Every song I’ve created is a special one. Therefore, I can't say there is one specific project I’m most proud of. But I can say that I am proud of collaborating with well-known artists. Some of them showed me how the music industry works and what I need to pay attention to. Every meeting was an experience I don’t want to miss. Through those experiences, I was able to improve myself and my business.

What advice would you give to new producers trying to make it in the music industry?

My advice to new producers is to be patient, hardworking, and modest. It's so hard to get booked or involved in new projects. There are so many people who don’t want to support you, even if they promised to collaborate. But this is the reality you need to accept. People aren’t always there to push you, even if you’re good. Some are, but you need to find them, or they need to find you. That’s only possible if you post daily on social media, expand your network by attending events, or perform at them. And even if a collaboration doesn’t work at the moment, always be kind. Even if you have success and make a lot of money, stay modest, because you never know what the future holds. It’s always possible that you’ll meet people twice in a lifetime. Just because something didn’t work in the past doesn’t mean it won’t work again. I’ve had the experience of starting collaborations with artists after one or two years.

What’s coming next for you, and how can people work with you?

There are many releases planned for the future, for example, “Never Let You Go” in August. The best way to work with me is to hit me up on Instagram. You can also meet me at ADE, Amsterdam Dance Event, in October. This year, I’ll be performing in LA and New York too. From there, I’ll also be working on new tracks.
