When the call came in that my mom’s cousin Nina died in the car bombing in Vinnitza, Ukraine, I first froze in anguish. The war became even more personal. The following morning, my body refused to get out of bed. I felt depleted, empty, angry, and anguished. But staying in bed would mean giving in to evil. It would mean giving up. And so I got up, I set up, and my team and I launched Free-mE ™ line of products and seminars to support Ukraine. In less than a week we raised $8400, and we are just starting…

I was born and raised in Ukraine. While my homeland is under attack, I am also very deeply aware of each person’s hidden fears within their hearts, having successfully combined unique spiritual and practical approaches to have helped thousands of individuals to shift from scared selves to their Sacred self; from inner conflict to deep inner peace, and from lack to prosperity. You do not have to be personally involved in any external war to be torn from within with thoughts of conflict and feelings of despair, anguish, or overwhelm. As inner peace is jeopardized, our lives’ daily results are also ambushed. Only as we learn how to restore and maintain peace from within, can our personal world be returned to peace and prosperity.

Today I want to share with you 3 Laws of Restoring Peace:

1. The Law of Awareness. Upon first hearing about the war-related passing of my extended family member, I had to be aware and fully acknowledge the anguish, the anger, and the feeling of helplessness. Whatever you are going through, validate the fear and any feelings you feel, without denying them, fully being aware of what you are experiencing. Only through being aware of what you are to free yourself from, can you reclaim your inner peace. Any form of denial would continue keeping one captive. State, “It’s ok to feel this way. I got this. God’s got me.”

2. The Law of Surrender. In my case, I released fear and other deep, heavy emotions using EFT. Then, I prayed for Christ’s peace to fill my heart and give me courage. Whatever your spiritual practices are, surrender your feelings and your need to control the outcome to God, to the Universe, to the Source of All that Is.

  1. Release fears through EFT /emotional freedom techniques

  2. Pray and/or Meditate, visualizing the release of dark emotions into the purifying light of hope and creation

  3. Simply place your hand on your heart and affirm, “I feel peace. Peace. Peace to and through me. Peace to and through the world.”

3. The Law of Action. I launched the YU2SHINE line of Free-mE ™ line of products to support my homeland. For all of us, Intention is not enough. Indeed, “faith without work is dead.” Once you surrender control of the outcome, take the action you are currently capable of asking for divine guidance. Act. Take the next step. Continue taking one step at a time. Live and breathe peace.

  1. Practice active breathing: breathing in counting to 6, “I breathe in peace”/ breathing out counting to 6 “I breathe out fear”

  2. Serve others. Ask yourself what you can do for someone today. It does not have to be time or money consuming. Texting someone with “you matter to me” will bring deeper comfort and invite inner peace for both of you.

  3. Proceed with pursuing your dreams in the best way you are capable of, despite the circumstances you are in. Shine your light to dispel the darkness.

Amidst any wars, literal or figurative, you are born to find, claim, and extend peace globally. Your light is unique. Nobody can do you. So, do you! Be the brightest you possible. And, if you choose so today, stand with us for freedom, stand for Ukraine, stand for peace and prosperity as your birthright!
