Mending TV is setting a new standard in ethical, diverse cultural programming through the joint efforts of Mending TV Executive Producer, Dr. Jennifer Marcus, Dr. Erica Sheffield, and Zondra Evans, CEO of Zondra TV. Through association with Zondra TV’s 800 million+ household audience network and the non-profits Breaking the Bonds and You Can Be You, the Mending TV Micro Network can dedicate its platform to sharing stories and wisdom from across all seven continents.

Mending TV Network, known for its impactful storytelling with authentic stories, aims to mend the world through voices, stories, and actions. The episode, "Exploring Johannesburg," marks the first expedition. Through the efforts of the micro network, the team is poised to embark on a transformative journey across seven continents, focusing beyond aid provision to empower communities for long-term success.

Dr. Marcus expressed her enthusiasm over the first initiatives in South Africa, including the Mending TV Global Conference Series. Marcus said, “The Global Learning Summit Series is action-packed, solution-driven, and highly engaging. These conferences will be held globally, both in-person and virtually, bringing together world-class speakers, industry leaders, and change-makers to tackle real-life problems.”

Since its inception, Mending TV has implemented the Mending TV Empower Communities Initiative and Mending TV Global Mentoring Hub Africa. Through in-person and virtual workshops, ECI bridges educational gaps, promotes self-sufficiency, and empowers participants to create sustainable opportunities for themselves and their communities. Marcus added, “By working directly with local organizations, we ensure that our training is relevant, culturally appropriate, and impactful.”

The Mending TV Global Mentoring Hub supports students from the beginning of their educational journey to their transition into successful careers. “Our goal is to provide personalized guidance, access to resources, and a network of professionals to help students achieve their dreams.”

As the network expands, Mending TV Partners are crucial to provide resources, expand influence, and enhance impact in unique ways. While sponsors, donors, and supporters are the lifeblood of Mending TV. These contributions enable the micro network to bring their mission to life, support communities in need, and foster sustainable development worldwide.

Dr. Erica Sheffield continued, “Without our sponsors’ unwavering support, our ability to make a meaningful impact would be significantly diminished. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and commitment to our shared vision of a better world.”
