In an exclusive interview with Chloe Redmond, Founder of Vino Vaquera Consulting, Laura Donahue reveals the fascinating details of her transformative program.
Hello, Laura! It is an honor to have the opportunity to share a piece of your story with the Brainz Magazine. When you are ready, please give us a glimpse into the early years of Laura Donahue. Where does your passion for the holistic space come from?
As a child, I was always a mediator between my parents. I was also just interested in any person I could ever meet. Whether it be a new classmate, my parent’s friends, or even the hair stylist, I was just deeply curious about people. Not just curious as in a scientific curiosity, but a compassionate curiosity. I would just love how different each person was, and how they would individually express themselves.
We hear that you have recently launched a beautiful astrology offering into the world. Walk us through the layers of how this came to be and what it entails?
My passion runs deeply for the teachings of astrology. What I have found through this work is just by taking any opportunity to serve is meaningful. Having the opportunity to connect to people through astrology who have sometimes never felt deeply seen at all, it’s profoundly beautiful.
My current offering, Know Thy Self, is a true labor of love created for folks on their self-discovery journey. When we go through your natal chart there are twelve signs, therefore there are twelve houses. The twelve houses are the twelve key areas of your life;
House of self
House of money, possessions, and value
House of communications
House of family and home
House of pleasure
House of health
House of partnerships
House of transformation
House of expansion
House of career and reputation
House of community and social groups
House of intuition and self-sabotage
I wanted to find a way to better administer this information in depth. In my experience through my healing journey, I have healed best with a coach working through different modalities. This would include actions such as a weekly touch base and progress checks. So I have decided to build this model into my astrology teachings. At the end of a session, you will not just be walking away with your natal chart, but an opportunity to experience a 14-week journey discovering a deeper purpose.
Can someone without previous astrology knowledge participate in this course?
Yes, the course is designed to start with the basics of astrology. There is some preliminary information that we will go over in our first session together to ensure this offering aligns. A fascination with astrology and an eagerness to learn is a must. I do want to work with people who value astrology.
What do you hope will be the key takeaways from your course participants?
I hope that anyone who invests their self-discovery leaves with so much clarity, peace, and overall feeling of success just by being who they are. With that feeling, you can head out into the world every day and feel more confident.

In 2019 a friend talked me into buying a tarot deck. I’m general I had been a bit standoffish about tarot. To me, astrology made sense because it was a natural occurrence. Tarot felt like I was going to stir things up. I did however know that it coincided with astrology so I was intrigued to learn more. I would pull cards from time to time for myself or friends.
Then in 2020, I felt a calling to study and fully immerse myself in the tarot and symbolism. Now when I would go to pull from my deck, the cards would tell a story. To me it was like sitting in prayer, messages from God. It was uncanny every time. From 2020 to 2023 I decided to incorporate tarot into my business. The live event interest in the tarot has been magnetic and exciting. Tarot always has the intention of setting you on your highest timeline. It’s a thrill to give those messages in person.
Thank you so much for your time today Laura. To conclude, would you please share one goal that you have for your company for the 2024 calendar year?
My goal right now is to have an influx of people that I can serve. I would love to provide a group of people, who don’t even know each other, an individualized experience at the same time through astrology. To have ongoing passionate souls who want to learn about themselves on a deep level is the goal, always!
