There are millions of blogs going around the internet nowadays.

But does that mean that the internet is over-saturated with blogs and yours will get lost in the online matrix?

In my opinion, your blogs won’t get lost, and the world needs your message.

One particular person might not read some of the thousands of posts written on your particular topic, but something about yours will make sense to them.

Your blog can be the one that makes a difference in their lives.

That’s why I don’t think the internet is over-saturated with blog posts.

It’s because everyone has different experiences and writes with a different outlook on the same topic.

Some might want to read mine, some won’t. Some will prefer yours!

Also, when you write blogs, you own them. They are yours and nobody can take them away from you.

If a social media platform goes down, your blogs are safe on your website, and in your computer files. You can save them and share them in many ways.

Keep in mind, that whatever reasons you’re writing, blogging is a long-term plan.

You won’t get thousands of views from just one post. You’ll need to be consistent and keep reaching out to your audience – subscribers to your blog, people in your local community or your social media networks.

I want you to know, people need your knowledge and experience. People will benefit from it, as you get your message out to the world.

Here are some tips to get you more comfortable with writing your first blog posts:

  • There are no rules set up in the stone.

  • It doesn’t matter how long your post is, as long as you’re getting your message across.

  • Don´t count words.

  • Don´t count the vanity metrics.

  • If you put a $ sign on each reader, you´ll lose the passion.

  • Remember WHY you started in the first place whether it be to inform, to entertain, to build your business, remembering your “why” will keep you on track with your blog and keep your purpose clear.

Think about this when writing: “What is my audience going to get from this.”
