It is not uncommon for someone who is self-confident to have low self-esteem – and vice versa. Ultimately, when you value yourself, your self-esteem improves. This makes you feel more confident.

It is generally believed that issues with self-esteem are rooted in our childhood. The combination of our relationship with our parents, siblings, family, friends, and teachers gives us mixed messages – positive and negative. Unfortunately, the tendency is that people remember negative experiences better than positive ones. As such, we start creating the story of our life. Often those stories are far from real facts because we have imaginations or emotions taking over us. And then the feeling of not being good enough emerges. Another source of low self-esteem is the media. Influencers, actors, music stars, and other public figures are portrayed in unrealistic ideals of look and success, Influencing the fashion and self-presentation of young people, creating self-doubt in our minds and making us feel like not belonging, not desirable and feeling not good enough. Another important factor that plays a significant role in our self-esteem is traumatic life events such as illness or abuse that could be physical or emotional. Often, we are not aware that we were subject to emotional abuse, as it was the only thing we experienced in our life. It can be very hard to trust to others or yourself after this type of experience. Often you may blame yourself for the traumatic event and experience a lot of guilt, losing trust in yourself. Hypnosis for self-esteem works specifically with these past causes to help people overcome negative thinking patterns.

There are common signs of low self-esteem:

  • feeling like a failure

  • feeling tired very often

  • having no motivation

  • thinking negatively about yourself

  • feeling constantly fearful of making a mistake

  • feeling hopeless or depressed

  • feeling bored with life

  • lack of assertiveness

  • feeling overly sensitive to criticism

  • thinking there’s nothing to look forward to

Over time these can start to take a toll on health, mental well-being, relationships and working life. Therefore, Rapid Transformational Therapy and Hypno coaching are very efficient for self-esteem. Living with everyday anxiety, stress and not feeling good enough can create difficulty in being authentic and expressing our true feelings and emotions. You may feel that you do not deserve, do not have a right to ask for what you want or you have nothing to offer. This can worsen your well-being and stop you from living life in a fulfilling and healthy way. Living with feelings of low self-esteem and self-doubt influences your mental health. This is because long-term negative thinking can lead to depression and anxiety. Low self-esteem is often linked to the development of unhealthy habits such as smoking, drug taking, gambling, eating disorders and compulsive shopping. For many, these habits help them to cope better with their thoughts and feelings. In the long-term, however, addiction can make life more difficult and reinforce feelings of unworthiness. It can also lead to mental health problems, isolation, and loneliness.

How you can improve your self-esteem and self-confidence?

From my experience, RTT hypnotherapy and Hypno coaching are the most efficient tools. Hypnosis can be particularly beneficial for those wanting to discover the root cause of their negative thinking quickly, normally, it happens within the first session. Then hypnotherapist eliminates the negative experience which caused that negative thinking, and the client learns new behaviours that support healthy esteem in the long term.

Hypnosis works by making you forget any beliefs on confidence. The process works on your subconscious so you can start believing you are confident.

Hypnosis for low self-esteem and confidence are highly complex; a hypnotherapist uses numerous techniques for finding root cause, eliminating negative experiences or trauma memories then, empowering and repairing the subconscious mind.

But whatever the technique, the idea is the same: In a state of hypnosis, we’re able to add newer, more helpful and more supportive information to the subconscious. And at the same time, we can work to release the negative thinking patterns that are causing our self-esteem issues in the first place. Even after the first session you will start feeling differently.

Studies have shown that most people stick to the treatment since you can quickly see your confidence levels growing.

RTT hypnosis has worked on thousands of people dealing with confidence issues. Hypnosis will help you get on a big stage, face many people in a room make public speeches and much more that requires you to have confidence.
