Growing a business long term requires customer retention. Magnetic marketing attracts customers who come in, pay, stay, and refer. One strategy is hosting Customer Appreciation event. I have had lunch buffet, dinner and karaoke, movie night with popcorn and drink, etc. just to say “thank you” and afterwards immediately receive more referrals from the same customers who attended the event. Get extremely familiar with the energy of who you serve and how you serve them. When you’re energetically aligned with who you’re here to help everything you say will automatically speak their language, they’ll hear you and know at a deep level that you can help them when they’re ready to receive it. Knowing your own energetic signature is extremely powerful in identifying your contribution to the world which then means your services and the packages you offer will be what your energetically aligned clients are looking for and will pay you for. It also empowers you to support them in a way that fast-tracks their results.



5. Become a Published Author

Putting the title bestselling author behind your name opens doors. Multi-author books are one of the hottest marketing tools sassy marketers recommend right now. They open doors to the top podcasts and summits because they increase your credibility and expert status. What’s best of all, they utilize collaboration between contributors as a powerful tool to create joint business ventures to reach more clients.


6. Repurpose Content

Content is one of the most powerful ways to build your brand and market yourself and your business. But often it's not leveraged effectively because most people create rather than repurpose.

If you took one piece of content, most likely you could reach 10 times more people by reusing it in different ways. And you could build a bank of content that you could use to write a book, create a course or program.

Build a brand that stands the test of time. Be so consistent in your communication, customer experience, and quality of service that people remember you for disrupting their expectations. 8. Get Yourself Featured on a Podcast

One of the most effective marketing strategies to grow your business today is by getting yourself featured on a podcast. When you become a podcast guest, you are able to instantly leverage your host’s loyal audience –the audience that your host did the work of building and nurturing. Your host vouches for you explicitly by talking you up, or implicitly, simply by featuring you as a guest on the show. It’s your host who introduces you as an expert in your topic. Plus, you get all the benefits of celebrity-by-association with the audience’s well-liked podcast host. When I think of Marketing I immediately think of "Story Telling". Your ability to tell your story effectively in your marketing message is essential. I encourage you that in all that you share, express, market or communicate, do so through story telling making sure your client or customer is the centre of your message.


Create a positive emotional connection. Make it human. People want to see and know your essence, this is what will make you attractive and likeable. Very few will buy from you if they don't know or don't like your essence and vibe. Be relatable and let the new formed connection bring you increased business and influence.

10. Patience, Perseverance and Repetition

A little more than a year ago I started to work actively with my Travel Employees Networking Group, an Online Magazine and Marketing Portal for Travel professionals.

Not the best timing though as the travel industry halted completely just a few months later. Now I see light in the tunnel and I am happy that I have been patient and that I have a lot of perseverance. Those qualities together with repetitive posts in the use of social media, the interest for Travel Employees Networking Group is continuously growing.
