Executive Coach Consultation Service Helps Coaches Navigate Nuanced Client Situations

As executive coaching continues to grow, coaches are increasingly encountering client situations that extend beyond leadership development and goal attainment, including burnout, emotional well-being concerns, significant life stressors, and other challenges that can complicate the coaching process. The Executive Coach Consultation Service (ECCS), created by Dr. Stacy Ellis, provides executive coaches with direct access to expert consultation when navigating nuanced or complex client situations that fall outside the scope of traditional coaching conversations.

Two coworkers smile and talk in an open office, one holding a tablet, both gesturing in a relaxed, friendly meeting

"The idea for the Executive Coach Consultation Service grew out of conversations with fellow coaches who were encountering client situations where important context wasn't always immediately apparent," said Dr. Stacy. "Sometimes a client struggles to reach their goals for reasons that have little to do with motivation or commitment. I created ECCS to give coaches a trusted resource for thinking through complex situations, exploring what may be impacting client progress, and supporting their clients while remaining within their scope of practice. Sometimes a brief conversation can provide the clarity needed to move forward with confidence."

Designed as an ongoing professional resource, the Executive Coach Consultation Service provides coaches with access to consultation and guidance when coaching questions and client situations arise throughout the year.

Common consultation topics include:

  • Coaching scope and referral considerations

  • Burnout and stress concerns

  • Understanding how trauma may impact coaching

  • Emotional regulation challenges

  • Leadership and wellness issues

  • Clients who appear stuck despite coaching interventions

  • Difficult client situations

ECCS is available for $297 annually or $30 monthly and includes direct access to brief consultation calls throughout the enrollment period. Coaches may seek guidance on new situations as they arise, helping them make informed decisions while supporting their clients effectively. Should a situation require more extensive consultation, subscribers receive discounted rates on additional consultation services.
