What first inspired you to start Insight With Kate?

Insight With Kate grew out of a period in my life when everything felt like it was colliding at once. I experienced multiple deaths in my family, medical emergencies, strange accidents, and complex health challenges layered with emotional and life pressures. It wasn’t one isolated event; it was a rapid escalation.

I had to stop and ask what was really happening.

Looking back, what felt like punishment wasn’t punishment at all. It was pattern intensification and clear messaging that my internal state, alignment, and belief systems were off. I wasn’t ignoring my intuition completely, but I was only partially trusting it. I was aware, yet I hadn’t put all the pieces together. I needed grounded guidance.

During that time, I met extraordinary people who helped me at pivotal moments. They showed me the power of having the right person beside you when your perception feels clouded and chaos makes it difficult to see clearly. As I began to fully trust what I was perceiving, everything shifted. Pattern recognition, behavioral analysis, and intuition began working together instead of competing.

There was flow instead of confusion.

I never set out to start a business. But people continued turning to me for guidance in relationships, work, and major life transitions. What felt chaotic to others often organized quickly for me, allowing conversations to shift into practical solutions.

Insight With Kate became the container for that work — a space where clarity returns, confidence rebuilds, and people stop circling the same issue and finally move forward.

How do your abilities shape the way you work with clients?

At the core, I’m reading energy while listening to the conversation. I register misalignment almost immediately, not just in what’s being said but in what’s moving underneath it. There are often multiple layers unfolding simultaneously. I track how those pieces interact in real time — which leads directly to the root of the issue.

I ask questions in a non-linear way because I’m following what’s surfacing energetically. As the conversation unfolds, patterns organize quickly. Clients often pause and say, “I don’t know why I’m telling you this,” or “I’ve never said that out loud before.” When someone feels genuinely seen without judgment, their nervous system settles and truth surfaces.

And once it’s named clearly, everything shifts.

I’m direct. I don’t sugarcoat. But I hold space with strength and compassion. When something that’s been carried internally is finally articulated, alignment follows — and forward movement accelerates.

You talk about using energy to your advantage in the workplace. What does that look like in real-world leadership environments?

People feel your energy before they process your words.

In leadership, negotiations, sales, and team dynamics, your internal state sets the tone. If you’re depleted or misaligned, that transmits subtly and influences trust long before strategy is evaluated.

It’s similar to walking into a beautiful space that looks flawless, yet something feels off. You can’t always explain it — but you sense it.

Using energy to your advantage isn’t about forced positivity; it’s about regulation. It’s understanding how to stabilize your nervous system so what you transmit is intentional rather than reactive. When you regulate consistently, maintain clear boundaries, and practice energetic hygiene, your communication sharpens, your leadership stabilizes, and your presence becomes magnetic.

Strategy builds within it.

Whether you’re running a large company or leading a small team, when the climate is steady and clear, performance improves naturally.

Many of your clients are top performers and carry high levels of responsibility. How does that affect the challenges they face?

The challenges themselves aren’t necessarily unique. Everyone is human. What changes is the level of impact. When your decisions affect dozens, hundreds, or thousands of people, misalignment doesn’t stay contained — it multiplies.

Time is compressed. Fatigue has consequences.

The work isn’t just about solving a one-off problem; it’s about maintaining an optimal energetic baseline so performance stays in flow rather than tipping into depletion or reaction. We focus on reinforcing boundaries and catching early signals such as subtle emotional fatigue, environmental pressure, or team friction before they compound into burnout.

At higher levels of responsibility, regulation isn’t optional.

" When something that’s been carried internally is finally articulated, alignment follows — and forward movement accelerates."

When someone feels stuck despite outward success, how do you help them recalibrate and reconnect with clarity?

Often when someone feels stuck, they don’t actually know what the problem is. Sometimes they believe they do, but what they’re identifying is usually a surface symptom. Through nuanced questions and rapid pattern review, I isolate what is truly creating the block.

The root might be boundaries, a relationship dynamic, work turmoil, health challenges, unacknowledged fatigue, or the discomfort of outgrowing a version of yourself that no longer fits.

Growth can feel destabilizing because it requires letting go of something familiar. And letting go is rarely comfortable. When the true root is identified, resistance softens and recalibration begins. As interference clears, clarity returns — and movement resumes quickly.

Clients often describe feeling lighter, more energized, and deeply grounded. The noise quiets. The path becomes visible again.

What disciplines help you maintain clarity while leading your own business?

My mornings are essential.

After sleep, I give myself space to recalibrate with incense, journaling, coffee, sunlight, and a meditation I created called Breathing Sun, where I intentionally interact with light as a grounding practice. I treat the morning as a nervous system reset before the day begins. Disruption is inevitable at times, but these practices keep me grounded in the energy I choose to transmit.

Movement is foundational — fresh air, hiking, jogging, Pilates, and weight training ground me quickly. Acupuncture, massage, and sauna are part of my maintenance, not luxuries. I also schedule intentional downtime with nothing planned; that space protects my energy.

When I travel, I bring elements of my home environment with me so my nervous system can settle quickly in a new space. Given the level of energy I move through my work, restoration isn’t optional; it’s part of the responsibility.

Everyone’s system is different. Knowing what supports yours is part of the discipline of sustainable leadership.

What’s next for you and Insight With Kate?

My work is expanding in several directions.

I’ll be attending the premiere of sHEALed at the Cannes Film Festival, a documentary on women’s health and healing that I appear in, contributing to the global conversation on women’s health. I’m also launching a membership model designed to provide consistent, practical support within a connected virtual community. There has been strong interest in in-person experiences as well, so I’m developing curated retreats and events focused on recalibration, meaningful connection, forward momentum — and adventure.

The larger vision is simple: helping people operate at full capacity without burnout or misalignment, and move through life with clarity, fulfillment, and sustained energy.
