She is here with us today to share some tips on embracing uncertainty, to ensure that it doesn’t hold you back from becoming the coach you dream of being.

1. Cultivate resilience

Uncertainty often brings unforeseen challenges, and being resilient is crucial to face and overcome them. Cultivating resilience involves developing the ability to bounce back from setbacks, stay focused on your long-term vision, and learn from failures. Recognize that setbacks are part of the entrepreneurial journey, and they offer valuable lessons for growth. Embrace them as opportunities to refine your coaching approach and business strategies. By building resilience, you can adapt to the unpredictable nature of entrepreneurship and keep moving forward.

2. Focus on what you can control

In times of uncertainty, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by external factors beyond your control. To maintain a strong mindset, shift your focus to what you can control. Concentrate on your coaching skills, client relationships, marketing efforts, and business development. While you cannot predict external events, you can influence how you respond to them. By directing your energy towards what you can control, you'll maintain a sense of agency and be better prepared to handle unexpected challenges.

3. Embrace a growth mindset

A growth mindset is a belief that your abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. As a coach-entrepreneur, adopting a growth mindset can significantly impact your success. Embrace challenges as opportunities for learning and personal development. View failures as stepping stones toward improvement, rather than evidence of inadequacy. A growth mindset empowers you to continuously evolve, innovate, and adapt, making you more resilient in the face of uncertainty.

4. Stay adaptable and open-minded

In an ever-changing business landscape, adaptability is key. Stay open-minded and be willing to pivot your coaching strategies and business model when necessary. Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and the evolving needs of your target audience. A flexible approach enables you to identify emerging opportunities and tailor your services accordingly, ensuring that your coaching business remains relevant and competitive.

5. Seek support and network

Building a strong support system is essential for a coach-entrepreneur facing uncertainty. Connect with like-minded professionals, mentors, or coaches who have experienced similar challenges and triumphs. Networking provides valuable insights, feedback, and encouragement, helping you maintain a positive outlook. Additionally, participating in relevant communities or industry events allows you to learn from others' experiences and gain new perspectives on handling uncertainty.

6. Set realistic expectations

As a coach-entrepreneur, it's essential to set realistic expectations for yourself and your business. Understand that success may not come overnight, and setbacks are a normal part of the process. Avoid comparing your journey with others' and focus on your own progress. By setting achievable goals and celebrating small milestones, you'll foster a positive mindset that propels you forward, even in uncertain times.

Inspired by first-hand experience of overcoming hardship and transformation, Brooke began her journey to become a Coach. Initially convinced that her personal experience, qualifications, and expertise would empower her to change not only her own life but also the lives of other women, she was surprised to find herself feeling severely out of her depths. The fear of judgment prevented her from showing up confidently and acquiring clients. Lacking confidence in her ability to make the desired impact, she procrastinated and failed to take action. She became paralyzed by the overwhelming steps involved in launching her business. This lack of results convinced her that she was unworthy and incapable of being the coach she truly wanted to be. She felt like an imposter, fearing that others would see her in the same way. After hiring a coach to help her do the work on herself, everything changed. She left her 9-5 job, made a MASSIVE impact on women's lives, and gained recognition as one of the world's top-10 female life coaches. This led to her being contracted as a Coaching Advisor for the world's largest online coaching community, assisting other first-time coaches in their journeys. This experience led her to realize that most first-time coaches face similar obstacles of fear, doubt, and concern for others' opinions. She understood the importance of confidence in coaching, the futility of a killer business strategy without implementation, and the limitations of constant planning and learning without taking action. This realization led her to create her Ready, Set, GLOW program, enabling other first-time coaches to transform themselves into versions capable of creating their vision.
