Ann Smets is an internationally active practitioner in energetic wellness, specializing in the gut-heart-brain axis and its impact on human performance, health, and emotional resilience. She works at the intersection of physiology, nervous system regulation, and energy medicine, guiding individuals and professionals toward sustainable, whole-system transformation.

With a background spanning over a decade in global wellness, hospitality, and transformational work, Ann integrates Taoist practices, inner alchemy, and modern scientific insight into a grounded, results-oriented approach. Through her platforms Soulestara and Conscious Cruising Consultancy, she supports both individuals and organizations in moving beyond symptom management toward deeper alignment, clarity, and vitality.

Ann Smets, Human Potential & Soul Integration Facilitator

What inspired you to focus on multidimensional healing, and how do you ensure your approach meets each individual’s unique needs?

My path into multidimensional healing began through my own journey. I realized early on that focusing only on the physical wasn’t enough, true healing required working across all layers, physical, emotional, energetic, and subconscious.

Through Taoist practices, energy medicine, and inner alchemy, I came to understand that we are not separate parts, but a connected, intelligent system.

That insight shaped everything.

Today, my work focuses on addressing the whole system, because lasting transformation doesn’t happen in isolation.

I don’t follow fixed protocols. I listen, beyond words, to what the body, nervous system, and energy field are communicating. This allows me to meet each person exactly where they are.

No two sessions are the same. And that’s where transformation happens, when people reconnect with their own inner intelligence.

How does integrating ancient wisdom with modern practices enhance the healing journey for your clients?

Ancient traditions have long understood that humans are part of an interconnected system, body, mind, environment, and energy are not separate, but continuously influencing each other.

Over time, we’ve moved away from this awareness, often approaching health in a more fragmented way.

Modern science is now catching up. Fields like neuroscience and psychophysiology, alongside research into the gut-heart-brain axis, are validating what ancient systems have always known.

By integrating both, I create a bridge.

Ancient wisdom offers depth and a whole-system perspective, while modern practices provide practical tools and measurable ways to regulate and restore balance. This allows clients not only to experience change, but to understand and sustain it.

What role does energy healing play in supporting clients' physical and emotional well-being, and how do you guide them through this process?

Energy healing works with the body’s natural communication system.

Everything in the body operates through electrical signals and frequency, from brain activity to heart rhythms and cellular processes. What we call “energy” is the underlying layer that connects and regulates these systems.

When this becomes disrupted, through stress, emotional overload, or long-term imbalance, it can manifest physically, mentally, or emotionally.

In my work, I guide clients into a deeply relaxed state where the nervous system can shift out of survival mode. From there, we can access and release stored tension, emotional patterns, and deeper imprints held in the system.

Because this work operates through frequency and information, it can be done both in person and remotely. Distance is not a limitation. In fact, remote sessions often enhance relaxation, as clients remain in their own environment.

The result is often a multi-layered shift, reduced tension, improved sleep, emotional clarity, and a stronger sense of inner alignment.

The goal is not to fix, but to support the system in returning to its natural state of balance.

How do you use soul connection and nervous system support to bring lasting transformation to your clients?

Lasting transformation requires both regulation and direction.

The nervous system determines whether we feel safe enough to change. Without that foundation, change doesn’t integrate. At the same time, reconnecting to one’s inner direction brings clarity and meaning.

In my work, I first support the nervous system in settling and stabilizing. From there, we reconnect to a deeper layer of intelligence, the part that knows what is aligned.

This allows change to move from effort into embodiment.

It’s also what I experienced personally. Transformation began when I chose to follow my inner direction, even when it required stepping into the unknown.

When safety and alignment come together, change becomes sustainable.

What is the significance of personalized journeys in healing, and how do you tailor these to each individual’s frequency?

No two people are the same, and neither is their healing process.

I see each individual as their own inner world, shaped by unique experiences, physiology, and patterns. At the same time, we are all part of a greater interconnected whole.

Healing happens when we honor both. That’s why personalization is essential.

I tune into what each person needs on a physical, emotional, and energetic level, listening to the body, observing the nervous system, and sensing where imbalance is present.

When I refer to “frequency,” I’m describing the overall state of that system, how someone feels, responds, and functions.

By meeting someone at that exact point, the work becomes precise, efficient, and deeply supportive.

And ultimately, it empowers people to reconnect with their own inner intelligence.

Many people today experience persistent tension in the body, such as bloating, tightness in the abdomen, or a constant feeling of pressure or unrest. Who is your work really for, and how can they begin their journey with you?

My work is for people who feel that something in their body is off, even if they can’t fully explain it.

This often shows up as bloating, tightness in the lower abdomen, digestive discomfort, shallow breathing, or a constant underlying tension that doesn’t resolve, even after trying multiple approaches.

These symptoms are often linked to stress, emotional holding, and a nervous system that hasn’t had the chance to reset.

Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who are used to pushing through, until their body starts asking for a different approach.

I help them release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with their internal signals, allowing the body to restore balance from within.

If you feel called to explore this work, you can visit my website or join my monthly Inner Light Portal webinar, a guided experience where we explore different layers of the body and energy system in a practical and accessible way.

Often, that first step already creates a shift.
