What started with a problem of wet, soggy socks, ruined boots, and poor foot conditions in grassroots football quickly became a game-changing solution. BootSkins, a custom-designed outer layer that protects football boots from the harshest elements, was born from necessity, tested in the mud, and proved when it flexed clean under pressure.

And now, after a few years of growth, trials, innovation, and a grassroots first approach, BootSkins has officially signed and sealed a new international franchise partnership covering Australia and New Zealand.

 

This major move marks a pivotal milestone in our journey. From a small UK start-up solving everyday problems on the pitch, to an internationally expanding brand redefining how athletes protect and personalise their boots.

Because the love for football (and sport in general) runs just as deep down under as it does here in the UK, from community leagues to academy training sessions, the pitch conditions may differ, but the problems remain the same. Players still face the challenge of maintaining boot condition, protecting their feet, and performing confidently. All while expressing their identity.

 

BootSkins bridges that gap, and this franchise deal ensures that players across Oceania will now have access to our full range of boot protection and customisation solutions, backed by local support, regional events, and community partnerships.
