I often work with new entrepreneurs looking to create success who KNOW what they should do, but their behavior is not aligning with their desire. While it may seem cliché to hear the statement “believe in yourself” there truly is a connection between success and belief. Our actions (or lack thereof) in our business are driven by our beliefs. Typically, people who are not taking the necessary action and risks to become successful, lack belief. They either don’t believe they are worthy or they don’t believe they will do what it takes to achieve the goal.

If you don’t master your belief in your mind, it will master you, sabotaging your purpose, business and finances. If your mindset is one of shakable belief it will bleed into every aspect of your business, and in turn prevent the desired success you are trying to achieve.

No one is you, and that’s your power. If you don’t believe in yourself, who will? Confidence is contagious. People want to be around those who exude confidence and a sense of purpose. Every successful person has bumps in their journey, but we must use those to learn the lessons. Treat them as trials or practice runs in your journey to success.

The mind is powerful; it believes what you feed it. The more you focus on the positive, the better you’ll stay focused on your goals, perform and take action. When people have a lack of belief, they typically don’t perform the tasks and put in the effort it takes to reach success.

Keep your eyes on the vision you want to create. Ask yourself, “Do you BELIEVE in this vision for yourself? Do you believe you are worthy of it? Do you believe you will do what it takes to achieve it?” If you don’t truly believe in it, you will be stuck second-guessing yourself. Focus your attention only on what you want with great positivity, bringing you into positive consciousness. Otherwise, you’ll downward spiral into self-doubting, which destroys your self-esteem and sense of worth.

Surround yourself with positive, like-minded people. Success is supposed to be fun and enjoyable. Choose environments filled with creative people with who you connect and who will nourish your vision.

Your behavior is driven by your belief. If you want to analyze your work behavior, get REAL with yourself and look at the daily actions you should be taking versus what you actually do. Are you going forth having connections and conversations or are you avoiding them? Do you face your fears and insecurities head-on, or do you allow them to prevent you from going all in?

Believe in yourself. Believe in your power. Believe in your vision. Your behavior will be a reflection of this belief.
