For over 25 years, I was deeply immersed in my role as a nurse, thriving in a profession dedicated to caring for and helping others. However, while nursing is rewarding, it is also one of the most demanding physical and emotional careers. The pressure of being responsible for others' lives can often lead to burnout, and many nurses find themselves stepping away from the profession by their 40s. At 50, I was no exception. Although I loved the work, I felt exhausted and increasingly desired change. I wanted to continue helping others but in a different way.

My main challenge was grappling with uncertainty about how to progress. This indecision stemmed from a deep-seated lack of self-confidence that consistently held me back, making it difficult to take the necessary steps toward my goals. I found myself stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, unsure of my abilities and fearing potential failure, which only added to my frustration.

In my search for answers, I turned to meditation. I set an intention to transform my life in a way that would let me keep helping people, yet in a manner that would nourish my well-being. Unexpectedly, I developed pustular psoriasis on my hands, an autoimmune condition often linked to stress. Friends and family expressed sympathy, but deep down, I sensed this was a message rather than a curse. This condition wasn’t happening to me; it was happening for me.

Psoriasis, a visible and painful condition, was my body signaling that it was time for change. It demanded that I pause, examine my life, and listen to what my body was trying to say. I took a break from work, focusing on myself and my diet, using only simple creams, and refraining from medications. I began to allow myself time to heal, both physically and mentally. But one day, when I received a call from my workplace asking about my return, I felt an immediate tingling in my hands. The flare-up that followed confirmed what I had suspected: my body was urging me to let go of my past role.

Once I recognized this, I understood my psoriasis as a catalyst, guiding me to finally make the shift I needed. I left nursing and enrolled in courses for personal development to regain my confidence and trust that I could follow a new path aligned more closely with my purpose and growth. I discovered Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and became a practitioner, using my journey to help others interpret the messages their bodies might be trying to send.

Autoimmune diseases and many chronic conditions are often signals from our subconscious mind, urging us to take a closer look at unresolved beliefs, past stressors, or deeply buried emotions and trauma. Rather than merely physical ailments, these conditions can serve as messages, calling us to examine the aspects of our lives or thoughts that need healing. Rather than being brushed off as mere "symptoms," these signals play a crucial and multifaceted role in our emotional and psychological landscapes. They act as vigilant guardians, alerting us to issues brewing beneath the surface that our conscious minds may not fully recognize or comprehend. At times, these signals serve as stern reminders or even as forms of punishment, urging us to face uncomfortable truths we might rather overlook. In doing so, they guide us on a transformative journey, prompting us to delve into and reflect on the deeper aspects of ourselves. This journey of self-discovery can lead to significant personal growth, allowing us to unravel past traumas, break free from limiting patterns, and ultimately embrace a more authentic version of who we are.

Through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), I now help people tune into these signals and uncover the powerful connections between their mind, body, and past experiences. RTT dives deep into the subconscious, where these unresolved emotions and limiting beliefs often hide. For many, this journey can reveal long-held beliefs about worthiness, safety, or self-identity that impact emotional well-being and physical health.

It can be challenging to recognize these patterns on our own, as they often feel woven into the very fabric of who we are and how we experience life. In RTT sessions, we explore how these hidden beliefs took root, often during vulnerable times, sometimes in childhood, or even later when we first learned to cope or self-protect. However, carrying these outdated beliefs into adulthood can create blocks in the subconscious, leading to chronic stress, burnout, and physical illness.

The process of RTT is transformative because it offers a path to finally release these old beliefs, replacing them with empowering thoughts and emotions that support our highest potential. By resolving these subconscious conflicts, many find that their bodies respond with reduced symptoms, increased vitality, and a sense of balance. This work doesn’t just address the symptoms; it empowers clients to rewrite their internal narratives, restore their health, and live a life aligned with who they truly are.

The journey isn’t always easy and wasn’t easy for me. But understanding that these experiences are there to guide us can help us live empowered, healthy lives. With RTT, I help others see that they have the power to release the past, and with the past, they will release their pain and illness, rewrite their stories, and step forward into a life that is fulfilling, whole, and true to who they are.

No one should be made to feel less than they truly are. By reconnecting with our innate confidence and power, we can truly heal, moving forward in the world exactly as we were meant to be, no more or less.
