I am sure that you have heard this sentence before “energy flows where attention goes.”

Attention is like a laser ray, pointing here and there with no clear intention other than curiosity. Attention gets attracted to events and situations without our willpower, just think of any outside noise when you are trying to work, for example.

Attention does not come alone, it is always accompanied by a feeling. This means that if you focus your attention on unpleasant things, let’s say pessimistic news, bad events from your past or negative thoughts, your feelings will immediately attune to that vibration energetically speaking. On the contrary, when you place your attention on goodness in general, your feelings will match that same vibration.

Simple, but not easy. Controlling attention requires self-mastery because the world we live in is full of external stimuli, and it distracts us from focusing on what really matters in terms of our wellbeing.

Why is it important to manage the power of attention? Because of frequency and vibration. You see, we all want to vibrate in high frequency, right? Then, if our attention is taken to a tour of negativity, we will feel that heaviness in our hearts.

If we want to enjoy any given moment in our daily lives, our focus needs to be fully on that precise moment. Please, notice here that most of us are not fully aware of the present moment, if we are having a good time, we are probably thinking about what to do after, or what to say next when in conversation. All comes back to attention.

My question to you is: are you able to focus your attention where it is needed? I am talking about your daily life, at work, in nature, in meditation, wherever you are.

Learning how to focus our attention will propel us to a quantum shift, elevating our awareness and consciousness and this is always a work in progress.

I would like to share with you three short exercises to start experiencing the power of attention:

  1. Go out, weather permitting, and find a green place, it could be a park or a garden. Sit and place your attention on the things that surround you, try to be with your mindfully present in that moment, observe and enjoy.

  2. Talk to someone and focus on the conversation, listen, really listen.

  3. Watch the news and pay attention to your feelings when bad and good news is being shown. This will create awareness of what gets into your energetic field.

When we control our attention, we are in a position to decide from a better place, we observe more, we acknowledge our feelings and we can transform them when necessary.

Within the Method I present via seminars, we say: “wherever your attention goes, is what enters into your life.” This is a powerful statement, which when is fully understood, takes us to a new level of inner-self awakening.
