Whether it's the stress of the 9-5, the responsibilities required at home, or the pressure to keep your mind and body in check, or maybe all three, life can be challenging at the best of times. Amid it all, when was the last time you thought, “Life feels easy for me?”

A woman in a green dress joyfully runs down a well-lit hallway with framed photos on the walls.

I get it. The struggles of life can often make you feel like the world is on top of you, and there is no way out, but it shouldn't feel that way.

If you can find a way to raise your energy and bring those good feelings into your daily life, the Law of Attraction shows us that you will attract more of those good feelings into your life. The more good you can feel, the more good things will come to you, and the easier your life will feel.

What is the law of attraction?

The Law of Attraction is a philosophy that suggests we create our own reality. Our thoughts create our feelings and emit energy that attracts similar experiences into our lives. Think of yourself as a magnet. The energy you emit will determine the experiences you receive. The more positive your output, the more positive experiences you will encounter.

This theory is something I live by every day. If you focus your attention on what you DO want, rather than what you don't want, and practice "feeling good" on a daily basis, you'll see more of what you want in your reality. The book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne simply explains this universal law and how to harness it.

What are positive feelings?

The positive feelings that emit the highest vibrational frequencies include love, joy, gratitude, excitement, and passion. On the lower vibrational frequency are feelings like guilt, resentment, doubt, worry, and anger. It’s not to say that we can't feel those low vibrational frequencies, but if we do, we should let them pass through us so we can more quickly move back into those high vibes, which will attract more positive opportunities and experiences into our lives.

If you’ve been going through life feeling “average” most days, then average experiences are what you’ll attract. You have to make a conscious effort to allow yourself to “feel good,” and developing new feel-good habits you can rely on daily is an amazing way to do this. Plus, it’s easier than you may think!

Why dance can help bring joy to your life

According to a recent international study, dance significantly helps manage stress, strengthen resilience, lift our spirits, and improve overall well-being.

On a personal level, dance has brought me so much joy. It has enabled me to release any heavy feelings, raise my vibration to attract amazing opportunities, bring self-love into my life, and reconnect me with my true self, without caring what other people think.

I like to think that a dance a day keeps the doctor away. My nana is a great example of this. She's 83 and still full of life because she dances at every opportunity!

As Taylor Swift says, everything feels better when you “shake it off.”

So, how can you embrace dance to make life feel easy and fun again?

3 secrets to make life feel easy

1. Change up your chores

Instead of doing those boring daily household chores, why not try doing them while listening to your favorite playlist?

Don’t have one? Well, try creating a “happy playlist” for yourself: those songs that bring back good memories, songs you can’t help but dance to, songs that remind you of happy times in your childhood, your favorite karaoke songs that you can’t help belting out at the top of your lungs.

Watch how much more fun your chores become! This is such a vibe-raising activity, watch how much more flow you have in your day, and maybe your house will also see the benefits! If housework equals “you time + fun time,” you’ll want to do more of it.

2. Embrace dance, daily!

Start your day off with a dance! Instead of the daily doom-scroll when you first wake up, which not only causes an awful disruption to your nervous system but also strips you of your natural dopamine highs.

Instead, put on your favorite songs and dance it out for at least five minutes—jump around, shake your booty, close your eyes if it feels good, and tap into your body, focusing on any areas that need extra attention after a night of rest.

Dance is not only an incredible way to raise your vibration, but you can also shake off physical tension in your body, boost your mood, reduce stress, and change your physiology to a happier state, which will make you feel instantly better. Remember, the way you start the day will be the way it goes!

3. Romanticize your life

Imagine that today you're in your own movie. How could you make this the best day of your life? A life that you would want to watch on the big screen?

Take yourself out for a fancy dinner. Buy yourself some flowers, walk down the street like it’s your catwalk, dance along that very same street to your favorite movie theme tune, compliment strangers, feed the birds, sing in the bathtub, treat yourself to a personal shopping experience!

After all, we’re here for a good time, not a long time, so make the most of the opportunity you were given to be here on this planet at this time, some people aren’t so lucky.

Journey into ease right now

In case you’ve forgotten, life is for living. That’s why it’s called “life.” It’s not for existing, so why don’t you try bringing a bit of life back into your world? And if you’re unsure how, using these tips with dance at the forefront is a great way forward…
