Viviana Meloni

Private Chartered Principal Psychologist

Viviana Meloni is a private chartered principal psychologist with two decades of international experiences. She was selected in Italy for the Erasmus program in Spain, and she worked for several years in Barcelona within the Department of Justice, where she engaged directly with the reality of the prisons system.  Driven by curiosity and motivated by the pursuit of a more international and interdisciplinary environment, she moved to London where she started working in a private health institution affiliated with an American healthcare organization.

Viviana Meloni won an award for excellence in Dialectical behavioural therapies by APT, association for psychological therapies, considered a gold- standard treatment highly effective for managing chronic suicidal ideation and suicidal behaviours.  She adopts an integrative and holistic therapeutic model, drawing from a range of evidence- based approaches officially recognised by NICE, the National Institute for health and care excellence to ensure best practice, including DBT, Schema therapy, EMDR, Third- wave CBT and psychodynamic integrating the structure of the clinical pathway with complex psychology formulations, to move beyond diagnosis. Apart from the private setting, she is currently working for the National Health Service in the UK at SLAM ,renowned internationally for its research and assessing partnerships and collaboration with institutions in the United Arab Emirates.
