Dr Trish Avery is a trauma‑informed therapist, founder of The AINT Foundation CIC, and creator of the AINT Model, a human‑centred approach to mental‑health support that challenges the limitations of traditional services. Her work has earned both a Global Recognition Award and a Business Awards UK honour for innovation and impact.

AINT is rooted in humanity, the most powerful tool we have in mental health, and the one most often forgotten by systems built on criteria, waiting lists, and tick‑boxes. Dr Avery works with adults who feel they don’t fit anywhere, people who have been overlooked, dismissed, or told they don’t meet the “right” requirements. She believes every person deserves to be heard and offered options that meet their own needs, not whatever the system has space for.

Her passion comes not only from her professional expertise but from her own lived experience of mental‑health struggles.
