Burnout Prevention Specialist and Certified Coach
Sophie Anderson is a burnout prevention specialist. She is an ICF-certified coach, speaker, and writer who helps professionals explore new ways to work and live so they can wake up energized about the day ahead and go to bed satisfied with what they have achieved. After 25 years in high-pressure corporate roles, Sophie understands firsthand what it feels like to juggle demanding workloads, constant pressure, and the slow creep toward burnout. Today, she supports busy professionals around the world to protect their energy, manage their workload more effectively, and build resilience in ways that are practical and sustainable.
Her work blends science, mindfulness, and practical tools to make wellbeing, resilience, and productivity achievable in real life—especially for people who are already doing their best and simply need better ways to manage the pressures they face. Sophie is the creator of the Anderson Model of Burnout and Personal Resilience™, an insightful framework that helps people recognize where they are in the progression toward burnout, across the activation, over-functioning, depletion, and burnout zones. The model also highlights the practical ways individuals can build resilience and restore balance, moment to moment, before burnout becomes clinical, namely awareness, restoration, and maintenance.
She shares this work through keynotes and workshops for organizations and conferences, as well as coaching packages that can be undertaken privately or sponsored by employers who want to support valued team members through demanding roles, leadership transitions, or periods of sustained pressure. Sophie particularly enjoys working with organizations that are already doing a lot to support their people. Even in healthy, well-intentioned workplaces, individual challenges, pressures, and personal patterns still exist, and not everyone finds it easy to navigate them alone. Coaching and wellbeing education can, therefore, play an important complementary role, helping individuals develop the self-awareness, resilience, and practical skills they need to feel and perform better.
People often describe Sophie as warm and authentic, while her work is always practical and immediately useful. Many clients say they experience clarity and meaningful shifts after a single conversation, coaching session, or presentation. Sophie is currently writing a book about the Anderson Model of Burnout and Personal Resilience™ and its practical application in modern professional life.
