Ruth Hutchins is the founder of Creating Healthy Careers, a career transformation and workforce transition practice supporting individuals, leaders and organisations through the human side of change.

With more than 30 years’ experience spanning recruitment, career development, leadership coaching and transformational facilitation, Ruth spent much of her career in recruitment before an inner knowing told her something was missing. Rather than continuing to fit herself into roles that no longer felt right, she began looking at the clues in her own life, the experiences, turning points and challenges that had shaped her, to understand what life had been trying to show her about her path. That journey of self-discovery became the foundation of her work today.

Ruth believes our careers and lives leave clues, and that even our most difficult experiences can contain gold. Her work helps people make sense of those experiences, recognise recurring patterns, reconnect with who they are and uncover what truly matters to them.

Working at the intersection of career transition, identity transformation, psychosocial safety, conscious leadership and human-centred organisational change, Ruth believes real transformation goes far deeper than changing a CV or finding the next role. It happens through identity, self-trust, confidence, values, authority and alignment.

She is the creator of Career Awakening™, author of Career Awakening: How to Align Your Career With Your Soul Purpose, and architect of an ICF-approved professional development framework combining practical career expertise, coaching, mindset work and the principles of manifestation.

Through coaching, facilitation, workshops and organisational programs, Ruth helps people reconnect with themselves, gain clarity about what comes next and create careers and lives that feel meaningful, fulfilling and genuinely their own. She is based in Australia and works with clients globally.
