Rahma Farah
Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst
Rahma Farah, BCBA, UKBA (Cert), is a highly experienced and compassionate Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst based in London, England. With several years of dedicated work in the field of behaviour analysis, Rahma’s mission has always been to create socially significant and meaningful change in the lives of her clients. She began her journey as a behaviour therapist, gaining hands-on experience across diverse settings including clinics, schools, and home programmes. Over the years, she has supported a wide range of individuals, primarily those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties, from ages 3 to 20 years of age.
What sets Rahma apart is her deep empathy and commitment to celebrating each individual’s unique strengths and differences. Her approach is built on authentic rapport, personalised intervention strategies, and a strong belief in empowering clients to lead meaningful lives. Most recently, she has taken the exciting step of launching her own independent practice, Prospering Minds Consultancy, offering a dual focus on behavioural and sleep consultancy services for all children.
In addition to her clinical work, Rahma is passionate about research. Her master’s thesis explored the collaboration between behaviour analysis and speech therapy to support speech intelligibility in autistic individuals—a topic she hopes to continue researching. She had the honour of presenting this work at the prestigious Queen's University Belfast's 5th Behaviour Conference in December 2022. Further cementing her voice in the field, Rahma was also invited to speak on the Behaviour Speak Podcast in February 2025, where she shared her insights on the evolution of behaviour analysis in the UK.
Rahma is also a strong advocate for cultural competency within behaviour analysis and values the importance of diversity and inclusion in professional spaces. This prompted her to co-found Somali Behaviour Analysis Association (SBAA).
Outside of her professional life, Rahma is a proud and busy mother to four incredible boys. Together, they embark on a wide range of adventures—from laser tag and virtual reality games to go-karting and beyond. A firm believer in self-care, she enjoys long nature walks, indulging in spa days, and, of course, sipping on a good cup of coffee.
