Lovisa Engstrand
Nervous System & Stress Specialist
Lovisa Engstrand is a Nervous System & Stress Specialist, stress counsellor, breathwork practitioner, and Pilates teacher, and the founder of The Exhale Collective - a platform built to help high-functioning women understand, regulate, and rebuild their nervous systems from the inside out. She is born and raised in Sweden, but has spent the last decade between Canada, where she is also a citizen, and Australia where her husband is from. She holds a BA in Psychology and a Breath Science Practitioner Certification, and works at the intersection of physiology, psychology, and sustainable behaviour change.
Lovisa's work was born from her own experience. For years, she did everything the books suggested - training consistently, eating clean, ticking every wellness box - and still woke up bloated, anxious, and disconnected. She had lost her libido, her sleep was shallow, and her body felt like it was working against her. The signals were there for a long time before she finally stopped ignoring them. When she began to understand her own nervous system, everything shifted. That transformation became the foundation and the mission of everything she now teaches.
She works primarily with ambitious women between 25 and 45 - professionals, entrepreneurs, mothers, and athletes - who appear capable and high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel stuck in a cycle of exhaustion, reactivity, and self-blame. Her approach, the Regulate & Restore Framework, addresses five pillars of health: stress regulation, movement, nutrition, sleep, and connection and identity work. Rather than adding more to an already overloaded plate, it works by rebuilding the internal capacity that makes everything else - sleep, digestion, performance, relationships - actually function.
In addition to 1:1 coaching, Lovisa offers an online course for self-paced learning, a 14-Day Nervous System Reset, a free resource library, and a podcast. She also hosts in-person and virtual Breath and Sound experiences. Her resting HRV of 146 is a measurable reflection of the daily regulation practices she both teaches and embodies. She has through lifestyle design lowered her biological age with 11 years. She is married to an Australian man, and together they live accross Australia, Sweden, Canada and the USA. She is currently based in Los Angeles and works with clients globally.
