In 2009, Kirsten de Greling-Visman left a 12-year career in international higher education to join her partner abroad. Arriving in new markets with degrees from different countries and a non-linear CV, local recruiters and employers took one look and decided she was unemployable.

Well. She did not quite agree.

Instead, she founded Clarity Compass Career Coaching in Albania, a country where she did not speak the language and the career coaching concept was unknown.

She built a practice designed to travel, carrying it across 9 country moves over 18 years. Along the way, she guided 1,000+ professionals through their career transitions around the globe and across sectors, learning firsthand just how messy starting over can be.
