Kirsten de Greling-Visman founded Clarity Compass Career Coaching to help professionals worldwide be recognized and get hired for their brilliance, no matter where they live, what the job market looks like, or what life throws at them. She writes about modern job search and career management strategies for professionals around the globe.
 
She knows what it's like to lose everything overnight. The network. The title. The sense of who you are professionally. In 2009, with a BA in Political Science and Languages and a 12+ year career in international universities and business schools under her belt, she walked away from it all to follow her partner abroad, with a CV and experience that didn't fit anywhere.
 
What followed: an identity and career crisis that turned out to be the greatest gift of her life. She earned her professional coaching certification through CoachU, attending 2AM online classes for 3.5 years, nursing two newborns, on internet that dropped out more than it worked. She naturally gravitated towards internationals battling their own career demons. Toxic workplaces. Life-shattering job losses. She later specialized in international career coaching.
 
16 years across 9 countries. Albania. Cameroon. Burkina Faso. Zambia. Uganda. Senegal. Seychelles. India. Now settled in France. Starting over more times than she cares to count.
 
This wild ride wasn't all joy and sunshine. It broke her at times. And it taught her: there is always a career solution when you own your story, know your value, show up as the answer to someone's challenge, and make sure the world knows exactly what you're looking for.
 
Today, she combines 18+ years of experience with hard-won insight into what it actually takes to build a career without borders. She's supported 1000+ professionals worldwide through career crises, cross-border job searches, and the messy, emotional work of reinvention. She gets it because she's lived it.
