Kate Taylor
Registered Nutritionist
Somewhat indirectly and surprisingly, Kate’s career in Nutritional Therapy began after she watched a documentary about the creation of chocolate from bean to bar. She recalls discussing the documentary with a friend, who jokingly remarked, “You should become a Nutritionist.” Kate took this suggestion to heart and promptly retrained as a Nutritionist.
Since then, Kate has supported people with their general health through nutrition, diet, and lifestyle recommendations. After several years in clinical practice, she chose to specialise, directing her nutritional expertise toward brain health, cognitive function and decline, and dementia risk reduction. This decision was inspired by memories of watching her relatives’ decline from Alzheimer’s disease and the sense of helplessness that came with it. At that time, few understood the potential impact of diet and lifestyle on cognitive function and brainspan.
With this motivation always at the forefront, Kate qualified in the Bredesen ReCODE 2.0 Protocol and now applies her nutritional knowledge and skills to create personalised programmes. No two brain health cases are the same, and Kate is committed to tailoring each client’s Nutritional Therapy Programme to address their unique health susceptibilities and vulnerabilities.
