Kate Galustayan

Personal Trainer

Kate Galustyan is a personal trainer specializing in human biomechanics, applied neurology, and movement-based wellness. With a background in dance, her passion for movement began early and later evolved into strength training as a way to support her health through the demands of corporate life, pregnancy, and motherhood.

Kate’s coaching journey began organically while working in a corporate environment, where she started leading workouts for colleagues during lunch breaks. What began as a way to help coworkers feel stronger, more energized, and less stressed quickly grew into something much bigger. During the COVID years, she continued training people outdoors in local parks, helping clients stay active, resilient, and connected during a time when both physical and mental health became more important than ever.

As she transitioned into in-person personal training, Kate began noticing how differently each client’s body responded to movement, stress, posture, and exercise. She saw firsthand that no two people moved alike and that many common fitness approaches failed to address the deeper reasons behind pain, tightness, poor posture, chronic stress, or movement limitations. This led her to explore the powerful role breathing plays in nervous system regulation, posture, stability, recovery, and overall movement quality. Through her work, she witnessed how proper breathing mechanics could improve not only physical performance, but also reduce tension, improve body awareness, and help clients feel safer and more connected within their own bodies.

Her clients’ individual struggles and limitations became the driving force behind her continued education. Wanting to fully understand why people experience pain, compensation patterns, instability, and movement dysfunction differently, Kate immersed herself in the study of human movement, biomechanics, and applied neurology. Her approach now combines strength training, breathwork, posture restoration, nervous system regulation, and movement analysis to help clients build sustainable health from the inside out.

Today, Kate is passionate about educating and empowering people to better understand their bodies, improve movement quality, reduce pain and stress, and create long-term resilience through a deeper connection between the brain and body.
