Jessica Lindfield

Founder & Corporate Leader

Jess Lindfield is a career strategist, speaker, and author of Play the Game, a practical guide for ambitious women navigating confidence, boundaries, and career growth. Her work supports women who want to pursue big goals without losing themselves in the process.

Jess began her career at 21 in the insurance industry, where she spent seven years progressing across eight different roles and leading teams of more than 45 people. Known for her drive and work ethic, she focused almost exclusively on climbing the corporate ladder. While successful on paper, the pace she set for herself proved unsustainable, prompting a period of deep reflection that reshaped her relationship with ambition, success, and self-trust.

That reflection ultimately led Jess to relocate from Australia to England and intentionally redesign how she wanted to live and work. During this transition, she began sharing her insights online, which resonated with thousands of women navigating similar challenges. In 2023, she founded Embrace Her, now home to her book, workshops, speaking engagements, and an online instagram community of almost 50,000 women.

Today, Jess works in commercial enablement at the Financial Times, leading complex, high-impact initiatives, and serves as Co-Chair of FT Women, helping to shape strategy and advocacy for women across the organisation. Alongside this, she delivers workshops and keynotes for organisations and communities, focusing on confidence as a skill, wellbeing as a performance strategy, and discipline as a foundation for sustainable success.

Her work is underpinned by the DARE Method (Discipline, Accountability, Responsibility, and Efficiency), a practical framework designed to help women operate with clarity, confidence, and control in their careers. Jess is known for her pragmatic, grounded approach and her belief that consistently good beats occasionally great.

At the core of her work is a simple philosophy: ambition and wellbeing are not opposites, and success is most powerful when it’s built with intention.
