Janette Klitou

Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist

Janette Klitou is a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in social work, based in London. Her work is rooted in a simple yet powerful belief: meaningful change can happen sooner than we often think.

Working at the intersection of mental health, neuroscience, emotional wellbeing, healing and human potential, Janette brings together her professional background in Social work with a Solution-Focused therapeutic approach. She is passionate about helping people  move beyond feeling stuck and begin to see new possibilities for their lives.

At the heart of her philosophy is a question: What if change doesn't have to take forever?

Many of us spend years believing that we need to fully understand our past before we can move forward. While our experiences undoubtedly shape us, Janette believes that understanding the past is not the only path to creating change. Sometimes, transformation  can begin by shifting our attention towards the future we want and identifying the small, realistic steps that can move us in that direction.

Through her therapeutic work and writing, Janette explores the fascinating relationship between our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and unconscious patterns, and the ways this influence how we experience everyday life. Her approach combines therapeutic insights  with practical, solution-focused ideas that can be carried beyond the therapy room and into everyday life.

Her intention is not to tell people how they should live. Instead, she encourages curiosity - creating space for people to ask themselves:

*  What if things could be different?
*  What would that look like for you?
*  And what might become possible if you started believing that change could happen sooner than you think?

With a warm, intuitive and compassionate approach, Janette supports clients as they navigate life's challenges, manage stress and anxiety, move beyond unhelpful patterns and develop new ways of thinking and responding.

She is particularly passionate about the potential of the subconscious mind and the role it can play in shaping our thoughts, behaviours and experiences. Through hypnotherapy, she helps clients explore these deeper patterns and develop new perspectives that  can support meaningful personal change.

Janette believes that people often have more inner resources than they realise. Her role is not to give people all the answers, but to help them reconnect with their own resources, possibilities and capacity for change.

Clients often describe Janette as warm, authentic and easy to talk to. She creates a calm, supportive environment in which people can slow down, reflect and begin to explore what could be different.

She is also the creator of the JK Method, a six-week programme designed to support meaningful and lasting personal change through a structured, solution-focused approach.

Janette's work offers a fresh perspective on the process of personal transformation: that change does not always have to be a long, complicated journey. Sometimes, it can begin with a different question, a shift in perspective and one small step towards the future you desire.
