Francesca Kastelanides

Director, Founder & Senior Trainer

Francesca Kastelanides is a yoga and wellbeing expert, retreat leader and Co-founder and Head Trainer of BEAM ACADEMY, a specialist provider of yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing training. Over more than 20 years, she has built a career helping people of all ages support their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
 
Her path into this work began in public relations and event management, where she spent years working closely with people, businesses and events. A degree in Special Education later took her career in a new direction, bringing her into close contact with children with additional needs and introducing her to Yoga for the Special Child. That experience shaped a lasting interest in using movement and breath as practical tools for children's development and confidence.
 
From there, Francesca went on to train across children's yoga, mindfulness, SEN, teen yoga, Early Years and breathwork. She has worked with thousands of children in schools and nurseries across London, building programmes that combine movement, breathing, meditation, creativity and sensory activity.
 
Alongside this, she works as an adult yoga teacher, delivering sessions and workshops for companies and organisations in the UK and internationally, and leads yoga and wellbeing retreats that bring together movement, mindfulness and personal reflection.
 
Through BEAM ACADEMY, Francesca also trains teachers, yoga practitioners and other professionals, with specialist programmes covering Early Years, Children's Yoga, Teen Yoga, SEN Yoga & Wellbeing and Mindfulness.
 
Her approach is practical and inclusive, shaped by a varied professional background that connects yoga and mindfulness to everyday life, education, corporate wellbeing and personal growth.
