Clayton Leavitt
Attachment-Based Relationship Coach and Trained Counsellor
Clayton Leavitt is an attachment-based relationship coach and trained counsellor who helps people understand and transform the deeper emotional patterns shaping their relationships. His work focuses on identifying core beliefs formed through early attachment experiences and guiding clients toward lasting change through self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and values-based action.
Drawing from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and nervous system-informed approaches, Clayton supports individuals in developing a more secure relationship with themselves and others. His approach integrates both clinical training and lived experience, offering a grounded and compassionate space for meaningful transformation. He has completed extensive training in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and relational dynamics, including work influenced by leading thinkers such as Dr. Daniel Siegel, Dr. Stephen Porges, and Dr. Sue Johnson.
In addition to his coaching practice, Clayton contributes to the development of evidence-based relationship and attachment-focused workshops through his work with Attachment Matters. His writing and content explore the intersection of psychology, connection, and personal growth, translating complex ideas into practical insight.
At the core of his work is a simple belief: when people learn to see, feel, and understand themselves more clearly, they can begin to transcend the patterns that once defined them—and create something new.
