Catherine Divaris

Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Catherine Divaris is a Mental Health Occupational Therapist by training, Emotional Regulation Coach, and founder of Mind/Mom Potential, empowering individuals and organizations to build mental resilience, master emotional and nervous system regulation, and perform effectively in high-demand environments.

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Catherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation, graduating top of her class and receiving the top psychiatric award. She began her career in a leading psychiatric hospital, supporting individuals with complex mental health challenges, and later established her own private practice, working alongside psychiatrists and psychologists while conducting medico-legal assessments focused on workplace reintegration.

Over the past decade, she has expanded into corporate consulting, partnering with organizations to improve employee wellbeing, leadership effectiveness, and team dynamics. As a Mental Health and Performance Consultant, she delivers workshops, training, and ongoing consulting focused on emotional regulation, burnout prevention, and communication under pressure, grounded in her CALM Container framework.

After becoming a mother to twins following an IVF journey and relocating to the United States, where she now lives in Virginia Beach, Catherine identified a gap between external strategies and internal capacity. Through her sub-platform Mom Potential, she supports high-functioning women and mothers in navigating the mental load of modern life.

Catherine believes that mental health is not simply the absence of illness, but the foundation from which individuals are able to perform, lead, parent, and reach their full potential.
