Sound Bath Educator

Ben Miller is the founder of Zen with Ben and the Zen with Ben Sound Academy. A lifelong musician who began playing drums at the age of four, he later studied piano, guitar, bass, percussion and strings before completing a degree in Music Production. His background in performance, composition, acoustics and soundscape design now informs his work as an educator specialising in the musical foundations of sound bath practice.

Ben teaches these foundations through the Zen with Ben Method – a practical and accessible framework that helps facilitators understand the musicality behind sound bath practice without needing to be a musician. His education focuses primarily on crystal singing bowls, exploring how playing technique, rhythm, harmony, intervals, pacing, dynamics, layering, transitions and structure can shape the participant's experience of sound. Rather than relying on formulaic sequences, metaphysical claims or guesswork, he teaches practitioners to understand the musical relationships behind the sounds they create and use that knowledge to make confident, intentional choices.
