Anna Woolliscroft
Writing for Wellbeing Specialist
Anna Woolliscroft's journey from marketing entrepreneur to journalling coach began with heartbreak in 2019, when her 13-year relationship ended unexpectedly. After building Market Avenue Limited from scratch into a six-person agency, these personal challenges reshaped her entire career trajectory.
During profound disconnection, she rediscovered journalling as an intentional, therapeutic practice. This breakthrough inspired her to pursue formal qualifications to guide others professionally.
Anna holds a Master's in Creative Writing and Wellbeing and is a certified Journal to the Self Instructor, trained in techniques pioneered by therapeutic writing leader Kay Adams. She also holds a Diploma in Journal Therapy and a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
Drawing on two decades of copywriting experience, Anna founded Writing with Purpose - combining expressive writing and outdoor experiences for personal growth. She facilitates interactive workshops whilst maintaining her consultancy, demonstrating how professional skills can serve a deeper purpose.
Her credentials extend beyond qualifications to lived experience: summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, trail running across the UK, and transitioning from burnout to purposeful entrepreneurship. These experiences authentically position her to guide women navigating similar challenges.
Through her podcast, workshops, and online programmes, Anna has impacted hundreds of women seeking clarity during life transitions. Her mission - sharing transformative writing techniques with 100,000 people over the next decade - reflects her strategic thinking and commitment to making therapeutic writing accessible.
